Rongcheng Swan Lake was an important defense site in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Due to sediment deposition, the harbor gradually turned into a semi-closed oval lagoon. The lake surface rarely freezes, and there are a large number of small fish, shrimp and plankton inhabiting the lake. It is an ideal living place for Whooper Swans in winter. From November to April of the following year, there are thousands of Whooper swans, tens of thousands of wild ducks, geese and geese. They landed quietly in groups from Siberia, Inner Mongolia and other places to live over the winter, and were hailed as the "Oriental Swan Kingdom" by domestic and foreign experts and scholars. The water in the lake is clean and clear, the beach is pure and golden, the scenery is beautiful and the climate is pleasant. The lake and the sea are separated by a large sand bar with a width of 100 meters, forming a natural 10,000-meter bathing beach and sand bathing area.
