It consists of four areas: aquarium, marine stage, marine science and central venue. The volume of the pool is 10,800 tons. The museum displays a total of 48,000 creatures, including whale sharks, dolphins, large sharks, and 10,000 damselfishes. The aquarium has three floors, one underground and two above ground. The entrance is located on the second floor where visitors can start viewing. The second floor reproduces "Jeju and the Sea of the Five Oceans", consisting of the Arctic Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Antarctic Sea, and displays representative creatures of each ocean. On the first floor, with the theme of "the gorgeous encounter between the ocean and the jungle", visitors can three-dimensionally watch aquatic creatures such as seals and penguins, and the trees and jungles in the museum are lush, which can be described as a veritable "ocean adventure", bringing tourists a tropical rainforest adventure-like experience. The touch pool is also on the first floor. After crossing the "Ocean Adventure", children can put their hands into the pool to have close contact with marine creatures such as magpie sharks, conch shells, and starfish. On the basement level, there is a main pool called "three-dimensional (IMAX) ocean" that "Aquaplanet Jeju" is proud of. The pool is 23 meters long and 8.5 meters high, also known as the "Sea of Jeju".
