Lion Rock is a real palace built on the orange-red rock. The top is flat and looks like a lion's big stone. The lion's head is weathered and dropped. Only the lonely lion body is left, and a garden palace built at a height of 200 meters is hidden on the back. It was buried in the jungle for centuries and was not discovered by the British hunter Bell until the mid-19th century. Since then, it has received much attention from the archaeological community. Its range includes the moat, a garden plaza, a huge rock, and a brick-red aerial castle built on top of the rock. Lion Rock has the natural wonders of Australia's Els Rock, and it has an artificial miracle that is impossible. It has to make every first-time visitor stark and sigh. Known as the eighth wonder of the world, it is one of the culminations of Sri Lanka's Golden Triangle of Culture and is one of the world-class treasures preserved by UNESCO.
