Weihai Park is an important part of the environmental greening project of South Haibin Road. The park is located in the south of Weihai city center on Haibin South Road, starting from Sifang Road in the north and Pingdu Road in the south, facing Weihai Bay. The park has a total length of 3,218.6 meters, an average width of 144.3 meters, and an area of 465,000 square meters. The park has four themed scenic spots from north to south: Haiya, Hailian, Haisong, Haihui and a central cultural square. Weihai Park is built along the sea. The total length of the seawall is 3,200 meters. It is constructed in three structural forms: large cylinder, large steps and large slopes. There is a platform for viewing the sea and receiving waves on the shore. In the middle of the park, a large-scale cultural square with a length of 580 meters from north to south and a seawall revetment of 107 meters is set up. Each square expresses the theme with sculptures of different sizes and shapes, and the sculptures are set off by ups and downs and dense and dense greenery. The park forms two green belts along the two sides of Haibin South Road. The green belt on the west side of the road is 30 meters, and the east side of the road is a belt-shaped open park with a width of 70 meters. The greening adopts the European brocade-style technique, with lawn as the keynote, and evergreen tall trees as the main tree, planting 130,000 ginkgo, fatong, cedar, Metasequoia, etc., and more than 900,000 flowering shrubs. The whole project combines roads, parks and buildings for overall environmental design, forming a regional landscape with buildings, greenery, sculptures, revetments, and the sea interdependent and organically integrated, forming a beautiful picture of an ecological coastal city.
