Standing at 306 meters tall and resembling a ship's mast, it is aptly named 'Shimao Rock' and is also known as the 'Pillar of Southern Zhejiang'. However, what's even more extraordinary is that nine peaks, ranging in height from 100 to 200 meters and varying in shape, surround and protect Shimao Rock. Like stars holding up the moon, they cluster around this 'Pillar of Southern Zhejiang'. The surrounding area is also bordered by streams on three sides, with steep cliffs, green pines, and ancient vines adding to the beauty.
