Despite the rapid drop in temperature and the rain, I remained undeterred. I thought that would be the end of it, but the evening lights introduced me to Guangxi's little Jiangnan. The misty rain, the green river, the bonfires, and the red lanterns in the old alleys all contribute to a full Jiangnan atmosphere. Ticket price: 75 RMB per person. Boat ride: 20 RMB per person (30min), FREE bonfire to keep warm. Oil tea: 15.5 RMB for two servings, strong ginger flavor to ward off the cold. Fridge magnet: 10 RMB.
