Dinghu

I came on a Friday, it was very quiet. Beautiful walks ,got lost a few times, not enough clear signs. The colour and clearness of the water is amazing. Saw lots of lizards and butterflies too.

Dinghu District is known as the land of fish and rice, and the tribute Wenqing carp has been famous all over the world. Dinghu District was originally under the jurisdiction of Gaoyao City. It was established in 6 years by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Yuanding. It has a history of more than 2,000 years. It was the fourth district of Gaoyao during the Republic of China period to the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In 1988, the People's Government of Dinghu District was established under the jurisdiction of Zhaoqing City. Dinghu District is named after the famous scenic Dinghu Mountain.
