In January, I spent a few days leisurely in Lhasa city to adapt to the plateau climate, and then embarked on a self-driving journey in Tibet. 🚗 Four-day tour route: Linzhi, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, Namjagbarwa Peak, Yang Lake, Namtso. Each place carries a profound religious culture and natural beauty. 🌊 On the way to Linzhi, I accidentally encountered a beautiful lake. It is quiet and deep, reflecting the sky. A stone tablet is engraved with 'The lake and the sky are of the same color, destined for the three-life stone', simple and poetic words, which make me love this lake even more. 🏞 When I arrived at the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, the sky was a bit gloomy, and I didn't see the spectacular view of the sunrise over the golden mountain with my own eyes, which was a bit regrettable. Namjagbarwa Peak is even shyly hiding behind thick clouds, refusing to show its face. 🌌 At night, I stayed in Linzhi. There is no light pollution here, and the starry sky is as bright as diamonds. 2023-10-07 Today, we traveled from Rikaze to Yang Lake, passing by Karola Glacier and another is Naqin Kangsang Snow Mountain. These two scenic spots do not charge admission fees, but the parking lot charges 50 yuan per person. We didn't go in and went directly to Yang Lake. We walked around half of the Yang Lake and met two tourists working in Shenzhen. We helped them take pictures at Yang Lake and also went to Ritu Temple to watch the sunset together. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and not good for taking pictures. After taking a group photo, we parted ways. We had to rush back to Lhasa, they had their itinerary, and we had ours. The road from Ritu Temple back to Lhasa was not easy to travel, especially at night. It was uphill and downhill, and the road was bumpy. By the time we arrived at the hotel, it was already midnight.

2023-10-09 Picked up a friend from Lhasa Airport, then we went to Yang Lake. From a viewing platform, you can see the Thousand Island Lake in Yang Lake. Finally, we walked to the heart of Yang Lake. The heart of Yang Lake is one of the small seas in Yang Lake. The water is red. The color of the lake changes with the sunlight and angle. I believe many people who have been to Yang Lake have not seen the red sea. We walked around Yang Lake for 2 days and almost saw the whole Yang Lake. We camped at the heart of Yang Lake. The wind here is very strong and the sand and dust are heavy. The heart of Yang Lake is now closed and can no longer go.
