Jinguashih

Jinguashi is located in Ruifang Town, formerly a sparsely populated wilderness, to the Qing Dynasty Guangxu era began to settle, and later found gold veins, so a large number of people came to join the gold mining, gradually formed a local life circle, and then had the "East Asia's first gold capital". With the mining industry lonely, the original appearance of the mining area has been preserved.

Jinguashi belongs to Ruifang District, Xinbei City, located between the north side of the snow-capped mountains and the northeast corner of the coast. It is close to Jiufen due to geographical location and was also an important mining area in the early days, so it is generally called the "Jinjiu area". You can see Yinyang Sea, Golden Waterfall, Golden Museum and other attractions.

It takes less than 10 minutes to arrive by bus from Jiufen. After buying tickets, visit Prince Binbin and various introductions of gold and mining. Lunch here to enjoy a valuable lunch, leisurely for 2 hours, take the bus to and from Taipei back to Ximen MRT. Yesterday I went to Xinbei-Ruifang District-Jinguashi, the once prosperous mountain city is very lively, fortunately working in the mine during the day is dirty and stinky beggars, and at night I faded my dirty appearance and changed into a gorgeous clothes or went to the pool or had a drink. Day or night are like that, the mountain city is not lively. Today, the mine has closed and prosperous, but the former mountain city has left its traces. There is also a gold melon stone near Jiufen, both of which are mountain cities born of mining. It is not as famous as Jiufen's pathetic city. Jinguashi focuses on mining history. I like the sense of hierarchy of mountain cities, shuttled in the lanes, and slowly experienced the taste. But if you don't pay attention, you will get lost and it is difficult to find a way out. Another point is that on the Jinguashi Road, people live under the road, and the graveyard is on the road, which is a feature. ​!
