Baocheng Bridge

Baocheng Bridge is located in Putuo District, Shanghai, also known as Yejiazhai Road Bridge. In 1931, it was built by the Chongxin Yarn Factory on the north bank of Suzhou River. In 1971, the wooden bridge was converted into a reinforced concrete pile foundation, becoming the only double-curved arch beam pedestrian bridge on the Suzhou River, which dressed up the beautiful scenery of the Suzhou River.　

Suzhou River Baocheng Bridge to Caoyang Road Bridge section, long 1.5 kilometers, passing through Baocheng Bay and Tanjiadu Bay two rivers. The scenery of this river section is concentrated on the south bank, from the east to the west: Chuangxiang Tower Park, Sudi Chunxiao Community Riverside Space, Carrefour hydrophilic platform, Wuning Road Bridge, Tanjiadu Suhe Station... Walking between them, the clear river water is not surprising, and the different bridges span both sides of the Straits. A striking golden arch straight into the sky, spacious trails stylish and dynamic, exquisite flowering fresh and romantic... pleasing to the eye, leisurely.

Baocheng Bridge, the must-pass place that I have walked through every day, was still not remodeled at that time, after two renovations in 2009 and 2019, now completely changed the new look, pleasing to the eye.

It is very strange to Baocheng Bridge, because there is no Baocheng Road, which is very different from other bridges named after the road. This time I found such a bridge by accident. The fitness trail on the south bank of Suzhou Henan is well built. There are many residents here walking their dogs to exercise and chat.

The Wuning Road Bridge on Baocheng Bridge is very open, and it is also close to the Suzhou River Trail, the scenery is very good. And riding through the Wuning Road Bridge is very tired, Baocheng Bridge is much more convenient. After getting off the bridge, it is the Chuangxiang Tower. There are many restaurants and a small bar at night, which is a bit small.
