Tropical Deluxe Princess - All Inclusive

This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach. There are about 5 specialty restaurants that open at night, but require reservations—I ate at Fogo and it was delicious. During the day, there’s a buffet snack bar, coffee shop, and icecream bar available, plus a sports bar that’s open 24/7. In the evenings, the lobby has entertainment, including shows and a DJ. Theres a trolly that comes every few minutes to take you around the resort if you don’t want to walk. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful wildlife roaming the resort and the amazing service staff—most were very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining. There’s also a snack buffet there that overlooks the beach, so you can enjoy a nice breeze while you eat. I traveled Solo. My only downside was the rooms. They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock. All 3 rooms weren’t very clean mainly the bathrooms. Im not a picky person so By the third room I had both locked doors and ac, so I just went with it lol. On the positive side, they did upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated. I did feel like some of the front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, beautiful place to unwind with family or enjoy a laid-back vacation.

This was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Thank you for your Russian and Ukrainian, keep learning, next time I come I will check up on your progress! 🤣 Animation team- you are beyond human abilities!!! Fly yoga, yoga on surf boards, volleyball, water polo(I think it was water polo😅), water bikes in the swimming pool, sexy dancing, jumping on little trampolines..Ruben & Jason, my sister Debora(best breeds from you!❤)and my evening salsa teacher Coca -Cola(don't lose uno in bachata anymore😉). Love you guys! 🥰 I will always remember all of you, how you invited to take part in the activities, how you were showing everything step by step, your patience, your unique personalities. The best chef on this planet Wander Montilla with amazingly beautifully looking and heavenly tasting dishes. 😋 Thank you for your unforgettable dinner at the stake house restaurant! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!

This is a large hotel complex where accommodation is spread out over a very wide area in separate residential buildings/villas. There's a tram/golf cart service within the complex, which in theory is great, but in practice, the system is annoying: the carts wait at the end of the line until they're full, meaning you often can't get on if you're picked up along the way. Sometimes several carts would be queuing up. The rooms were mostly clean. I stayed in two different rooms myself. However, the shower water pressure was weak, and on a few mornings, only lukewarm water was available. One morning, pressure washing started in the pool area around 6:00-6:30 AM, which isn't exactly pleasant when you're trying to sleep. The food is generally 3/5 quality. Not gourmet, but not a disaster either. The pizzas at the buffet were better than at the actual pizzeria, which says something. The pizzeria's 'thin & crispy' was more like soggy dough than thin and crispy pizza. In the same place, the lasagna was quite alright, and it sometimes appeared in the buffet as well. I'd skip the sushi restaurant entirely: watery rice mush with a piece of fish thrown in. At the Mexican place, I got the wrong order, and at the Indian restaurant, the food wasn't spicy or hot even when specifically requested. There are many restaurants and plenty of choice, but in many places, customer service and quality are severely lacking. Generally, the male employees gave a lazy impression, as if they were just doing the bare minimum. Female employees, on the other hand, smiled, chatted, and clearly made more effort. There were exceptions, of course, but few and far between. Hygiene also raised a few questions. Birds flew around the food if you left your plate unattended for a moment. Once, I saw a bird fly into the steak restaurant area, where dishes were being prepared. Towels are changed often, but in the evening, they might not be available. Also, you didn't always get your towel card back when exchanging towels, at least not at the quieter pool's towel station. The drinks selection is quite simple: beer, red and white wine were practically all of the same quality. The cocktails felt like they were all made from the same bottle, just with a slight change of color. You can get better for money, of course. On the positive side, there's a different show every evening and activities for children. Waiters also circulate around the area. However, I missed having water stations where I could refill my glass myself without queuing behind food trucks or cocktail counters. If you get the hotel cheaply and your main purpose is to be at a large resort, eat at the buffet, and indulge in alcohol, then it's fine. The facilities are good, but in terms of service, restaurant quality, and practical arrangements, the overall experience remained quite mediocre.

We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

I had a wonderful experience at Caribe Deluxe Princess. Traveling solo felt easy thanks to the warm and welcoming staff and animation team. A special thank you to Eunice for her kindness and positive energy and Xavier from the animation team for keeping things fun. Also Belkys, who cleaned my room and was incredibly sweet. The resort is beautiful and well maintained, with a great evening atmosphere in the lobby. The buffet was good, and while some items were repetitive, the options were plenty. I also tried the Dominican à la carte restaurant, which I really enjoyed. The beach and the sunrise were absolutely spectacular. Overall, a great stay from start to finish and I would definitely return. Thank you ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional stay – highly recommended! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Alkquimia. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, spotlessly clean and elegantly designed, with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The location is absolutely ideal — very central, safe, and literally close to everything. You can walk everywhere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop pool is absolutely lovely — perfect for unwinding, with a great vibe and a very pleasant setting. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. The ladies at the reception were amazing: warm, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness truly made our stay even better. Our room was cleaned daily and was always sparkling clean. The layout was comfortable and stylish, and the bathroom was modern and impeccably maintained. Overall, Alkquimia was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend it. We would happily stay here again!

The hotel does not look like the pictures. When I got yo my room, on the first night my room smelled of urine, as if person who was belied me peed and the hotel doesn’t clean it. It was unbearable, I had to ask reception to come and sort it out because I wasnt going to be able to sleep with that smell. The housekeeper came and she swiped the floor and it was much better. The toilet handle was broken despite the water flushing. The room smelled out humidity. Not very sure of they changed the sheets needles I got there or even after. The food was all artificial food, nothing organic. All drinks were from those sachets. Even the sprite tasted different :/ On NYE the food was much better, there were good choices, but still artificial. Overall, it wasn’t that bad, a lot of people seemed to be okay with it. I am very picky so I notice everything.

Costa Love Hotel Aeropuerto Puj was a wonderful experience. The owner is incredibly helpful, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located just 15–20 minutes from the airport. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the swimming pool was the perfect place to relax after a long wait at the airport. A great bonus is that the hotel offers airport pick-up service and car arrangements — you only need to inform the owner. Small suggestion: This airport pick-up/dropoff service should be advertised more clearly or included in the booking information, as many guests may not know it is available. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, hospitality, and excellent service. I would definitely stay again!
