I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.
The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable.
As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Tentrem was wonderful, and I look forward to returning each year. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special
Friendly Regards,
Danny Hariyanto !
🏨 Truth Review Stay at Artotel Leguna Magelang (3– 5 March 2026)
i stayed at artotel leguna magelang from march 3rd to march 5th of 2026 because there was an event at university of محمد iyah magelang on march 3rd and 4th. the location is quite strategic and it makes me easy to move to the campus,so it is not too tired to go back and forth.
originally i ordered a standard room with 1 large bed, including sahur 2 pax.************can free upgrade to superior room,so the room feels more relieved and comfortable. the room is clean, tidy, and it is good to rest after a busy day of activities.the bed is soft and makes you sleep better.
what i like the most, from the room you can see the mountain view 🌄 the atmosphere is quiet and cool, especially in the morning.it’s really good to recharge the energy before continuing to activities.
about service,i think the team is friendly and responsive:
Morning, Ms. Risty and Mas Aga helped
In the afternoon, Mas Bangkit, Ms. Sheila and Ms. Nayra.
Mas Fino helped at night
Everything was helpful and communicative. If anything I needed, the response was quick and not complicated. It felt well served, not just formalities.
For housekeeping, I was helped Mas Dani. The room was always clean and well kept during my stay.
for sahur is served in buffet in the restaurant.although there are not too many choices,it is enough, the taste is good, and it is well prepared and timely.so there is no need to worry about staying during the puasa month.
Overall, I was satisfied and felt comfortable during my stay here. Suitable for those with activities in Magelang, both campus events, work, and just a staycation with a quiet atmosphere and mountain view.
if you go to magelang again,i don’t mind staying here again 👍
Overall had a great stay there as a couple visiting Solo for the first time. Location wise is really strategic, close to a lot of attractions and foods! Service is really warm and good too. Breakfast selection is good but quality can be improved.
I have been staying at this hotel for a long time and it has always been one of my familiar choices whenever I visit the area. The location is convenient and the overall atmosphere still feels comfortable and welcoming. However, it is a bit unfortunate that the hotel is starting to show its age. Some facilities seem a little old compared to before.
Last night was slightly difficult because there was a loud fan or machine noise coming from outside, which made it a bit hard to sleep. I hope the hotel can check this issue because it could affect guests staying in nearby rooms.
Aside from that small inconvenience, my stay was generally satisfying. The staff were friendly as usual and the service was reliable. I still appreciate the comfort and memories I have had here over the years, and I hope the hotel will continue to maintain and improve its facilities in the future.
Possibly this hotel had been expecting more guests in the past but the pandemi had made their ability to maintain its standard a bit more difficult to achieve
One of the best hotels in Solo City.
Customer service 5/5 - staff were friendly and service was excellent.

Very Good
YYunanistya RahmadhianiWe booked two rooms. When one of the rooms, the AC was not cold, called the receptionist, and was responded to well. An hour later, the room was cold again. Breakfast is quite varied.

GGuest UserI've stayed here twice already... it's comfortable, clean, the food is delicious, and it's artistically designed near the Laweyan batik village. The service is excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from front office, cleaning, restaurant, bakery, doorman, security, and parking – everything is really good. It's a shame that the unique cafe near the hotel was closed during this long Eid holiday. If you want more dining options, head towards Solo.
AAnonymous UserThis is always my first choice for me whenever I travel to solo. I love the cleanliness and fast check in process. However the parking space is very limited but they have extra space across the road right in front of the hotel.
GGuest UserRezt Hotel Semarang is a great budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s close to food spots and easy to access from the city center. A solid choice for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place in Semarang.
WWong Thai YuanGood location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder
SSaidThe noise outside the room is still very loud if there are people in the elevator... the restaurant cannot be used for breakfast all at once if the hotel is full... perhaps this is something to consider.
Also, the sauna facilities and the 30th floor are specifically for guests staying in suite-type rooms.
MMels2012The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic!
One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha!
However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱
DDon Thusitha - AustraliaI booked two rooms for my friend and family and for myself. Superb rooms. Very spacious. Value for Money. All facilities are included. Nice swimming pool.
Amazing breakfast and restaurant staff. Very kind and polite. Supportive pleasant front desk staff and security staff. Elavita front desk officer is very good. She gave full support to book my 2nd room.
I feel sad I couldn't stay more days because of back to Jakartha. Lovely pleasant stay. Do not go anywhere. Specially don't book Redoorz hotels. They are scamers. Book this anybody want to go to Purbalingga. Redoorz scamed me
