"Very kind people took over this place a few months back. It was the best hotel we could find in the area for travellers without a car, and it was a good choice! Honestly service and kind approach to a customer can make up for any stars. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Coffee and tea available all day."

MM I ParamitaThe hotel is not near the train station but quite a walking distance from the old town. There’s a bus stop nearby if you’re too lazy to walk, but it’s about 2km to the Groningen Train Station. We tried to walk in the morning to take pictures and enjoy the scenery, and it’s not that far (but can be the case when you have to lug your large luggage).
There’s no free champagne given, unlike the other branches, but the receptionist was friendly and offered tickets as a replacement, which we could claim either tea, coffee, or beer.
It’s great to stay here even when it’s not as near to the train station as the Eindhoven one.

AAnonymous UserVery good located hotel. Good for a short weekend trip or a city trip to Groningen. They have a parking area underneath the hotel which costs extra but generally much less than parking on the streets. The rooms are spacious and have everything thing you need. Would be nice to have a fridge though but all in all everything you need for a city hotel. The service is very friendly they have good recommendations for the city and also plan activities or restaurant reservations if you would like to.
All in all 100% recommend for staying in Groningen!

ААлевтина ПоповаThe hotel is located in a very good place, very close to Grote Market, at the same time my room was quiet.
The receptionist is there round the clock. The bed comfortable, the shower quite large.
It was a bit cold, though, and it was not yet winter. And the toilet pump was incredibly noisy in both my room and the room above, where they flushed in the middle of the night and scared the life our of me.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right in the centre of Veendam, and whilst it's not luxurious, it's clean and comfortable. The bar is excellent, their own beers are also very good, and there's a wide range of others available should you prefer. The food in the restaurant was also pretty good, being tasty and generous. We'll certainly be back!

DDawn.R 芮莉The hotel is very clean with a great location in the centre of the city. The room is spacious and even though there are three beds in the room there is space to move and place suitcases. The room is quiet with ac. Breakfast is 18 euro per person so we decided to walk to Starbucks instead.

GGuest UserThe single room is very small. The breakfast is mainly cold dishes such as bread spread/cheese and fruit, as well as one or two hot dishes. Toothbrushes and indoor slippers are not provided. The front desk is nice, but the facilities are really just that. The location is very convenient
