The Executive Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou is excellent. Aside from one staff member who seemed a bit stern, the other service personnel were all incredibly warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The food inside was also fantastic. Although the cocktails were a bit subpar, the overall experience was still very positive, earning high praise from both myself and my boss. The public area's pool and Jacuzzi experience were also great, and the sauna and warm pool in the changing rooms were equally impressive. The room itself was also quite good.

We had a lovely family stay at Hui Hotel. The hotel looks beautiful, and the location was great for us—close to both Huaqiangbei and Upperhills, which we wanted to visit. Our room was spacious, and the two single beds felt a little wider than the ones you usually find in hotels. The big bathtub was a hit with the kids! Even the slippers were a nice touch—thick and really comfortable. The service at the lobby was great too. We arrived at around noon and were able to check in straight away, which made travelling with the kids much easier. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Our flight was a bit delayed, so we didn't arrive at the hotel until after 7 PM. We had booked a room in the Bihai Building, but check-in was already closed. Seeing us with two suitcases, Mr. Shi, the manager on duty, offered to store our luggage at the Bihai Building and then personally drove us in the shuttle to the Baiyun Building for check-in. The handsome guy at reception brought me another stroke of luck by upgrading me to a suite – what an amazing vacation, meeting so many lovely young people! I'm so fortunate! The Bihai Building has incredibly new decor. What I care about most is the bathroom, where all the silicone sealant on the tiles was pristine white, with no yellowing or mold whatsoever, which was a very pleasant sight. Then I ran my hand everywhere – no dust, and the bathtub was free of any grime, which is impressive. Full marks for cleanliness. Breakfast was included and served as a buffet at the Jinshan Restaurant on the second floor of the Baiyun Building. Some online reviews said it wasn't good, but we stayed for three days and ate there twice, and my actual experience was that it was excellent. They even have freshly made 'cheung fun' (rice noodle rolls) in three flavors – beef, egg, and pork – served with their own sweet soy sauce. It was incredibly delicious! The girl making the cheung fun was very sweet, always smiling, and happy to fulfill any requests. There were also nutty Sachima (a sweet pastry) and four flavors of ice cream. Paired with a coffee, it was very satisfying. On the third day, we went to the Hongmian Restaurant on the first floor; it was filled with locals, and every dish was made fresh to order at reasonable prices. Furthermore, Ms. Huang, who cleaned our room, was incredibly thorough. She even left a special note if she noticed something needed attention, which made us feel incredibly warm and fostered respect for every single staff member throughout the hotel! This is undoubtedly a hidden gem of a hotel that I will definitely visit again!

The front desk staff greeted me warmly as soon as I entered the lobby and promptly helped me check in, which was a welcome relief after a long journey. Although it's across from Taikoo Hui, the hotel is tucked away on a small street, offering a perfect blend of quietude and convenience – it's not noisy at all at night. It's incredibly convenient to get to the subway, major shopping malls like Zhengjia, several old-school restaurants, and various dim sum spots, all within a 10-minute walk! You can tell the facilities are a bit dated and the decor style is a bit mixed, but they've done a good job with repairs and maintenance, keeping everything clean and tidy. The hallway carpets are free of any strange odors, and there's an air freshener running. The water pressure is strong, making for a very comfortable shower. I thought the mattress would be too soft, but it surprisingly led to a great night's sleep. The touch-sensitive bedside lamps are very convenient. The only minor downside is that the mirror isn't placed in front of a table; its current position is awkward with the mini-fridge in front, making it difficult to sit. When I checked out, even the security guard at the door gave a warm farewell. It really feels like the staff across all positions genuinely and naturally treat guests well. This alone made me extend my stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Hygiene: Surprisingly clean, felt like new, no strange odors – excellent! Ambiance: The hotel lobby smelled wonderful, and the attention to detail was impressive. Service: I mentioned there was no milk for my coffee, and the front desk staff very enthusiastically provided some warmed milk for free. The service was incredibly thoughtful. Facilities: Even a bathroom scale was provided; the amenities are very comprehensive, completely up to star-rated hotel standards. I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is quite unique. In terms of hardware: the pros are that it's perfect for guests traveling by car, and the room balcony offers an unbeatable view. You get to enjoy a golf course lawn view in an area very close to the city center. When the weather is good, the balcony gets plenty of sunlight, making sunbathing very comfortable. This is an unparalleled advantage compared to newer hotels built into glass curtain wall high-rises. The outdoor and indoor pools are excellent and very suitable for family activities. The exterior, lobby, and corridors – these public spaces – look great. The cons are that the mattress is too soft, and while the Cantonese restaurant's food is good, it's overpriced.

Overall good, friendly and helpful staff, room was clean, there's a big pool and pretty big resort type hotel, next to golf course very convenient for if have golf tournaments or golfing. Room service was open until 11pm, food taste great! Very nice & enjoyable stay.

【Location】Right off the highway, about a 40-50 minute drive from Shenzhen, very convenient. 【Environment】The environment is lovely, with mountains and water. There are outdoor hot spring pools, various hot spring pools suitable for both children and adults, a beach, a water park, and even bubble games. 【Entertainment】There were many activities during our stay. The water world is a must-visit, and there's a free children's playground as well as a paid one. It's very large, and kids could easily spend a whole day there. Plus, it wasn't crowded. In the evening, the big lawn also had many entertainment options. I saw tennis courts and go-karts too, which I assume require separate booking and payment. 【Service】Overall, the service was quite good. Whether in the restaurant, housekeeping, or at various venues, the staff were friendly, patient, and responsive. 【Facilities】It's clear this is an older hotel. Especially our room, the decor felt 20 years old. It was advertised as a garden view room, but it was really more of a building view, with nothing to see. The room didn't really cater to family needs; for instance, all the cabinet corners were sharp. The minibar was supposedly free, but it was empty when we opened it. The toiletries were Kappa, which are good quality, but there was only hand soap in the shower, no shower gel. I'm not sure if that was intentional or a mistake. However, a big plus were the heated towel rail and underfloor heating – definitely worth a commendation! 【Dining】Our package included breakfast and dinner for two. Since we visited during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the buffet was incredibly crowded; it felt like we had to fight for food. Overall, the taste was good, and the soups were excellent. I had 5 bowls of soup in one evening, and the ingredients were plentiful. Breakfast was just as crowded, but replenishment was quite quick. Overall, the kids had a great time, and we would definitely go back.

This Japanese-style hotel offers excellent service. I had a bit of trouble finding my room, but a staff member kindly escorted me all the way to the elevator. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and well-balanced nutritionally. They also provide complimentary coffee vouchers, and there's Japanese ramen available late at night, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day!

For a culinary trip to Shunde, the Xiangyunsha Hotel is an excellent choice. Due to a back problem, I always travel with a back brace and dread hotel beds that are too soft. Thankfully, the mattress at the Xiangyunsha Garden Hotel provided excellent support, truly a lifesaver for someone with a herniated disc. The food quality at the hotel's 4th-floor restaurant is also exceptionally high; we had both breakfast and dinner there. I particularly want to commend the service. When we were leaving, we called a ride-sharing car, but due to traffic, the driver asked us to walk to meet him. We had trouble understanding his Mandarin and didn't know the exact location he mentioned. A kind lady in a white shirt from the hotel staff noticed our predicament, proactively offered to help us communicate, and then walked quite a distance under the hot sun to find our car, asking us to wait in the hotel lobby to avoid the heat. We were incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness! A sincere thank you to her! If I get the chance to visit Shunde again, I will definitely choose the Xiangyunsha Garden Hotel.
