The hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

Guest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

Guest UserMy stay at voco Shimao Sunshine Lake Resort Qiandao Lake was absolutely perfect! The hotel is situated on a peninsula, offering an elegant and tranquil environment. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the attention to hygiene details was impeccable. The direct, first-line lake view of Qiandao Lake is breathtaking – the water and sky merge into one, creating an expansive and unbeatable vista. There are amazing viewing spots everywhere. A special shout-out to the hotel's innovative travel photography service. The photographer was incredibly professional, excellent at finding the right angles and guiding poses. They even managed to capture stunning, high-quality shots against the light, preserving so many wonderful moments. All the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, treating guests with warmth and courtesy. The entire experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Qiandao Lake, highly recommended!

RenduojunluxunFinally checked into the Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi, which I've been longing to visit, and it was a perfect experience. Tucked away in the Xixi Wetland, with white walls and dark tiled roofs by the water, every step offers a new beautiful view, creating a full-on, tranquil, Zen-like Chinese atmosphere. The room was spacious and elegant, the bedding soft and comfortable, and a soak in the large bathtub was incredibly relaxing. The toiletries were high quality. The staff were polite and discreet, providing thoughtful service without being intrusive. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering a true getaway vibe. It's my top choice for a vacation in Hangzhou, and I'll definitely be back.

For our two-night stay in Wuzhen, we chose 'Jintang'. Upon arrival at the scenic area, we were greeted by the handsome and steady 'Xiao Fan' at the entrance. He arranged a sculling boat for us, which took us along the waterway directly to Jintang. Pushing open the two-story antique wooden doors, we were met with a striking combination of vermillion and emerald green. It was a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. As I savored a cup of crimson hibiscus tea, Xiao Fan had already completed our check-in. He also set up our facial recognition for entering and exiting the scenic area. Xiao Fan then led us through the hall and around the landscape to our room. The room featured dark green wallpaper adorned with plum blossoms, complementing a vermillion bronze bed. With the tea snacks and afternoon tea on the table, accompanied by refreshing green tea, our three-day Wuzhen journey officially began. A big thank you to the thoughtful service from the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Jintang, and especially to Xiao Fan!

Guest UserThe morning mist over the Qiantang River hadn't fully dispersed, yet West Lake was already awake. On the Su Causeway, willow branches dipped into the water, painting calligraphy with the shimmering light. The stone railing of Broken Bridge still glistened with dew, and the legend of Lady White Snake walking with an umbrella had taken root in the moss. Oared boats glided across the silken water, their paddles startling egrets. The sunlight shaken from their wingtips fell perfectly into the tea farmer's bamboo basket, filled with freshly picked Longjing tea. The tender buds, curled like sparrow's tongues, would unfurl into the entire spring of Jiangnan with a single brew of hot water. The aroma of cong bao hui (scallion pancakes) wafted from the alleyway stall, the iron griddle sizzling as it pressed the dough, the sweet bean paste embracing the mornings and evenings of old Hangzhou. Tourists held up their phones to photograph Leifeng Pagoda, its copper bells chiming in the wind, as if softly asking: 'Do you hear it? Hear the passage of time slowly flowing over the stone bridges, flowing through a thousand years, in this city made of water?'

Guest UserI had this mountain retreat saved in my favorites for years, and I finally decided to check it out during my recent break. I was a bit worried it might be a disappointment, but it turned out to be a perfect 10! Every staff member was so kind, patient, and always smiling. The real-time, one-on-one group chat service was a huge bonus. Duty Manager Yang Lingling was incredibly nice; anything we needed was promptly delivered by golf cart. I felt a bit bad constantly bothering the staff on the first night, but they were all so patient with every request. The hotel beds are especially comfortable – after a rainy day bath, I’d fall asleep instantly. The DIY activities like crafting, incense sachets, pottery, and handmade soaps were so fulfilling. Just before we checked out, Manager Yang Lingling even had a staff member give us a tour of the entire guesthouse and its surroundings. (Lingling always greeted us with a cheerful smile and excellent service, which was a big plus!) The young man, True, who showed us around, was very meticulous in explaining each guesthouse, and he was so kind and charming. Standing on the mountain top, I was truly impressed by the owner's vision. I hope for good weather on my next visit so I can experience the Land Rover again! 😍

Service: The service attitude was superb, and the staff guided us through the check-in process from start to finish.
Environment: The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and the hotel was quiet and pleasant.
Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and the entire hotel maintained excellent hygiene.
Bedding: The sheets, duvet covers, and pillows were the best we've encountered in any hotel during this trip. The bedding felt incredibly soft against the skin, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
Food: While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, every item was exceptionally delicious and well-prepared. They had everything from NFC juice, milk, coffee, and soy milk to Coke and Sprite. I highly recommend the incredibly tasty xiaolongbao, and the freshly made beef noodles were absolutely fantastic – the beef was tender and soft, and the noodles had a great chew. Everyone should definitely try them!
Parking: The hotel has its own parking spaces, which makes parking safe and worry-free.
The most important thing bears repeating three times: You can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard! This was a huge hit with the kids, allowing them to watch the squirrels eat up close.
Finally, I'm giving a five-star review again. Hesheli Hotel received unanimous approval from our entire family, and we hope to have the chance to visit again in the future.

sssss1117778Ever since Naked Retreats opened in Moganshan, I've been following their properties there. Finally getting to stay at Naked Castle felt like fulfilling a long-held wish. And as expected, it was a pleasant surprise and simply stunning! It's mysterious yet accessible, feeling secluded without being too far from civilization. You can switch between the mountain tranquility and the outside world in just half an hour. I'll definitely be back.
