We had an absolutely enchanting experience as a family. We booked a weekday getaway and were fortunate enough to enjoy the resort almost entirely to ourselves. The resort was impeccably maintained, showcasing its clean and pristine condition. The expansive stretch of fine sand was nothing short of breathtaking, inviting us to relax and soak in the beauty around us. The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. It truly was the perfect spot to witness a stunning sunset, with vibrant colors painting the sky as the day gracefully came to a close.
Had a nice surprise of mixed fruits and wine. Candy gifts also for the young ones. Perfect for this holiday season The room is very spacious with soft pillows and blankets. Stayed at the loft. Room is good even for a family with cr provisioms for both loft and ground floor. They forgot space for luggage and clothes but its still ok for short stay. Highly recommended as plaza and calle crisologo are just a few steps away.
I would give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating. The hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The staff was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable. The amenities were top-notch and the food was delicious. The location was also great, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hotel to others.
Our family had an unforgettable stay at The Monarch Hotel in Calasiao, Pangasinan. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotelâs elegant design and warm ambiance. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs.
The room we stayed air was not really working. Ants in the bathroom and the property is a resort for swimming for public. The room is clean but tiny ants in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and the free breakfast very basic a cup of rice, one egg and choice of meat or fish. Its by the highway easy to find. Workers are friendly.
What a beautiful resort. The location is perfect - secluded from the noise of the world. My partner called the place heaven on earth. Very nice beachfront! Was able to capture great photos too! Awesome experience over-all. We will definitely return.
It has a beautiful pool area that could do with more shaded areas and table service , no room service between 10 pm and 7 was disappointing and our room wasnât serviced the whole 3 nights we asked for clean towels on second night staff were lovely but the restaurant has a very limited selection as too breakfast options are poor !
Had a great stay! Loved the orange theme and stylish design. The on-site coffee shop and restaurant were a big plus. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The rooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

Very Good
GGuest UserGood -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals).
Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here.
Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement.

Ggibo_27Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Balai Balatong is located inside a barangay and has kubo/hut theme with a touch of modern elegance. The rooms are well designed and are really clean.
We were lucky to book the place for our own on that day as it is a weekday for a very inexpensive price. We got the pool and entire place literally for our own for a day which is great! It could be priced double or triple for its current state of the rooms.
As the place is relatively new, just opened last 2024, there is no in house reception available. Works like an airbnb. No in house-resto yet. These two might be the reasons why they are holding on to pricing the rooms higher. Would have given them a perfect rating if these are available. There is a good restaurant though just in front of the place called Pha Ramen which is an aesthetically good restaurant serving good Pinoy dishes (and accepts credit cards).
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight the next day and they were able to arrange for our transfer to the airport.
We will surely come back!
Ttamaraw10isBeachfront property with great pools and beachfront restaurant for great sunset cocktails. However the property is showing many signs of aging. In my opinion, an uplifting renovation is needed. The staff are all very attentive and requests are responded promptly. I had to request another room the next morning as the moldy smell of the ac is making me sneeze all night. Within the hour I was relocated to another room with an ocean view and overlooking the pools. Our request for a âtaboâ was granted asap and I think that made our stay on the positive side. Little cons for improvement: face towel torn with holes, no smart tv with netflix, bad tv location in room, dirty smelly canal beside Coast restaurant, letting guests use pool with their street clothes on, hawkers on the beach, access road to the property is too narrow, hallways unlit, elevators not cleaned often, only 4 hangers, no microwave, outside food not allowed, tap water not potable and only 1 drinking water station each floor, no hand held shower head and a room safety deposit box that took 3 staff to get it operational.

GGuest UserWe arrived at noon but needed to leave because it was not 2 pm. The lady did checked us in in advance, i paid Php1000 deposit before we left, we were told to just come back and they will let us in.
We came back just before 2pm. 3 of us needed to go to the city while 3 others stayed. When I arrived with my hubby and brother, we were surprised that my brother's wife and family stayed in the lobby waiting for us, said that they were not offered to go to the room since i was not there. Meanwhile, when we arrived this morning, the staffs are aware that were were all together as they were taking pictures of us in the lobby, they have this special mini stage that turns while taking 360 degrees selfie.
I was disappointed that our family was left in the lobby waiting instead of assisting them to our room.
Room is reasonably clean.
GGuest UserThe place is huge, but well maintained. Staff is accommodating un lng Mahal ung palit Ng linen. So we decided to transfer to new room since ngextend kmi. But all in all we enjoyed Ng planning to go back soon
DDearSunsetHotel Veneto de Vigan is a beautifully restored heritage mansion dating back to around 1740. It was once an ancestral home and is now a charming bed & breakfast right in the heart of UNESCO-listed Vigan, just a short walk from Calle Crisologo. I really appreciated how they preserved the Spanish-era architecture and colonial detailsâit truly feels like stepping back in time.
That said, while the ambiance is lovely, the facilities could use improvement. The hot water isnât actually that hot, the water pressure is very weak, and the âhigh-speed internetâ isnât as advertised. They have dozens of different Wi-Fi names, so you need to reconnect every time you move to another part of the hotel. Although some room upgrades have been made, the amenities still feel a bit dated. Overall, Iâd recommend this hotel for its history and location, but expect some compromises in comfort.
GGordsNice hotel, although having the bar open late to 2am from Friday to Saturday & 4am on Saturday to Sunday meant a constant flow of people either arriving or leaving, some must have been wearing clogs or diving boots, as the noise was unbearable....kept me awake until 5am Sunday morning & our room was at the opposite end of the building from the bar. The bar snacks were good, breakfast on Monday took nearly 45mins to arrive, so coffee was already finished 35mins previously! Not certain if it's true, but there was a photography session ongoing on the ground floor on Monday, the photographer was also the chef, so suggest the chef books his photography sessions once his chef duties are completed...just a suggestion...not sure who does the ratings, but seems to me hotels can claim to be anything they want...this was more 3* than 5* from my experiences
