Came here for our honeymoon and was impressed by the room size, location and good hospitality! Room is very spacious, beds comfortable, water pressure good. Location is very convenient, we didn’t have to take buses as we could walk to all the main attractions in the Salzburg old town and Mirabell gardens. There’s also a Panorama tour office within 5 mins and you can book day trips to Eagle’s nest, salt mine or even Hallstatt from there. The bus picks you up from the same place too. Highly recommend Hyperion hotel to anyone visiting salzburg!
The hotel is in a great location, close to most attractions, and the rooms are spacious, making for a pleasant overall experience. However, upon check-in, we noticed a welcome chocolate on the table. I thought it was for us, but it turned out to be the previous guest's name on the card. Was it a mistake, or did the previous guest simply leave the chocolate unused and leave it to us? Or is it that different guests, even if they paid the same price for the same room type, receive different services? This was very disturbing. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities are relatively old. There's no capsule coffee machine, only instant coffee. This could be improved in the future.

The highlight of this 600-year-old hotel is the service. The front desk or restaurant service is excellent. Professional service. Many high-end hotels have it. But this one makes people feel particularly sincere. Every word and every sentence they listen to and answer carefully and surpasses expectations. You do a good job, for example, when you see me have a bunch of coins at checkout, I will take the initiative to change the whole amount of money. I consult the trip to Munich and immediately help me find out and print out a list of the specific situation, which company bought the tickets How to get to the station ticket office
Breakfast is average, but children are free (my child is 9 and a half years old) If you do not want to eat, there are McDonald's and Starbucks a few steps away, but the environment is always good
One of the hotel's restaurants is the local one. It is the first recommendation on the lonely planet, so dinner can be solved at the hotel every day. One big one, two small juices, one soup, two main courses. Tips are not included. The service is great. Up

Good location and beautiful hotel. We are a family of two adults and three kids( age between 9 to 13). Hotel charged us for three adults and two kids. Three nights we ended up paying 3000euro plus. Cost is pretty high and the most hurting point is that we only got to know this upon check out…

We arrived at the hotel at about 13:00. The front desk said that the room was ready for check-in and gave us a room on the first floor (Room 101). After entering the room, we felt that the floor was too low, so we asked if we could change to a higher floor. The front desk said that there was a room upstairs and we needed to wait for 2 hours to clean it up or pay extra to choose another room type. We returned to the room in the principle of avoiding trouble.
At this time, my husband suddenly found that our room had no balcony, and we booked a Junior Suite view on the Ctrip platform. The picture showed that it had a balcony! And the area was also larger! After we compared it, we found that the Room 101 given to us was not the room type we booked, nor was it in the pictures of the room type on the official website or any platform, so we continued to communicate with the front desk. She said that they were all the same, some had balconies and some did not. I said that we booked the Junior Suite view because we saw the picture had a balcony. After the communication, we chose to wait for 2 hours, and the front desk said to change us to a room with a balcony.
Then we were outside until 17:00 and came back to check in. We found that the changed room (Room 311) was indeed larger than the previous one, but there was still no balcony. But we don't want to bother anymore.
The things that made me dissatisfied with this stay are: 1. The room type reserved for us at the beginning was not the room type we booked. The front desk also admitted that Room 101 was smaller. After we communicated, we said that we wanted a balcony. The front desk asked us to wait for 2 hours for the room with a balcony to be cleaned up, but in the end the room still had no balcony. I checked through booking and Ctrip, and there were 5 Junior Suite views left that day, and there was no problem of tight supply.
2. When we first entered the room, we were given afternoon tea snacks, Sacher cake and chocolate, but we immediately asked to change rooms and they were not moved. I thought they would be put in the room we changed, but they disappeared directly... Yes, they disappeared. We said before we changed rooms that the snacks were not moved! They were gone directly.
3. When we left, we had suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 handbag, and the staff did not help with the luggage, and even did not open the hotel door for us...
In short, this stay was not pleasant.

I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.
Doorman: Warm welcome, luggage, valet parking (hotel parking is not free, about 30 euros per night). After delivering the luggage to the room, the coat will be carefully hung in the closet. Bags and other sundries are also placed in the closet. Good reviews. Room: Quite satisfactory. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the minibar are all included. Restaurant: After checking in, we ate every meal in the hotel. Several restaurants are good and the breakfast is rich. Spa: The hotel has a free spa. Everyone remember to bring a swimsuit. We forgot to bring a sauna. The swimsuit sold by the hotel costs 400 euros and the style is not what we like. Other items such as massage are charged. The housekeeping team needs to improve: As soon as we entered the room, there was a wilted flower scattered on the floor. It should be left after cleaning. And they forgot to give us hand soap. Tips: The staff we met were very enthusiastic. We followed the local customs and gave some tips to the waiter who made the night bed, the doorman, and the staff who helped us park the car.
