I stayed here for 3 nights; location is great close to bus stops and downtown area. The rooms are clean. However, the service here isn’t what you might read in the previous reviews. I changed my double room to a single one the last night and, there was no hot water the whole, in the beginning I didn’t understand when I just got in, only at night when I wanted to take shower I found it out. You know what I was told- please boil the kettle so you can take a shower on the phone because something in the basement is broken and I wasn’t notified beforehand of it when I moved in.
This hotel is so underrated!! This is a 100/10!!! We really loved this hotel, it is too bad we just stayed here for 2 nights as I really loved the place here. It is just 3mins walk away from Ruins of St. Pauls, and there are a lot of stores there — like stores where you can buy pasalubongs such as the famous peanut cookies, egg tarts and such… There are also luxury stores, uni qlo, pop mart, cosmetics stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and many more… Basically everything you need is just reachable…
We were actually from HongKong prior to staying at Macau for 2 nights and we rode a bus going here to I Fu Hotel and it was so convenient since the hotel is just like 30 steps away from that bus stop!
The rooms were veryyyy niceeee too, the room space were really maximize and designed very well! It is very clean too! The receptionist is very accommodating, helpful, knows how to communicate with us! There is free wi-fi, mini bar and complimentary water — where you can ask for one everyday! Our only problem here was that we were shocked of the deposit fee that was asked to us, it was 2000MOP around 16,000 pesos (500MOP per room), and it we were not prepared since we only withdrew 2000MOP for our transpo and such since we’ll use card… But it’s understandable since they really make sure that you don’t violate the rules like no smoking…
Also as a family of 10, all our 4 rooms were just nearby which made it more efficient.
Overall I would really comeback here!!
The room is compact and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and a tiny bathroom. The room is equipped with helpful amenities, including a hairdryer, adapter, TV, kettle, and several cloth hangers. The air conditioning works effectively and keeps the room quite cold, and there is space between the bed and TV for a medium suitcase.
The reception is conveniently located on the second floor, where guests can access a microwave and drinking water, as well as bathroom amenities. The hotel’s prime location is a significant advantage, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, allowing easy travel around Macau. For those arriving from the airport, the MT4 Bus to PONTE 16 followed by a short 10-minute walk to the hotel is very straightforward. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants along the street and a large supermarket nearby, enhancing the overall convenience of the stay.
Macau Ying King Hotel is great. My uncle first stayed here in 2015. The front desk service is excellent, and it's only a five-minute walk from the Macau bus stop, 'Rua da Alfândega'. There's a park nearby and plenty of supermarkets, including Lai Lai Supermarket, a local Macau chain with many Macau specialties and imported coffees at reasonable prices. Booking from Monday to Thursday is a bit cheaper. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Macau. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small.
The room was excellent, I was very satisfied. It had great cross-ventilation, plenty of natural light, and good soundproofing. It was also clean and hygienic. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Macau.
**Service:** The service was top-notch, and I was very pleased. There were staff available 24/7 who were always ready to answer any questions, and the room was cleaned punctually every day.
**Facilities:** The facilities were complete. Charging my phone was very convenient, and the air conditioning was powerful.
**Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent. It was clean and tidy with no strange odors.
**Environment:** The environment was great. There's a park right downstairs.

The room was very sparsely furnished. There was no hand soap or paper towels. The bedding was disposable and quite uncomfortable, and the slippers were the plastic kind you find in public baths. Check-in wasn't until after 2 PM, and they weren't flexible even when I wasn't feeling well. The only upside is its proximity to the Ruins of St. Paul's. I don't think it's worth the price. If you mind disposable bedding, you should definitely reconsider.
It is my first time to book through trip.com and i will rate 5 star for our trip.Happy Family Hotel or Hotel Familia Feliz is in good location, walking distance to Ruins of St Paul, Cathedral of the Nativity of our Lady, St Dominic etc…. As well to senado square to Casino’s it is at the back of Lisboa Casino Hotel very accessible to buses, the room is small but it is very clean, the front desk is english speaking, they are filipino even chinese front desk can speak english they have wifi and some complimentary water, you can make your coffee they provide electric kettle in every room, what i really like is the elevator, it can wait long time even with out pressing the button, plus the staff or fronk desk very polite and approachable, Mr Sraul filipino front desk even help us to get taxi outside, when we go back to Macau airport,we check out early and left our luggage at the front desk during our last day, since our flight is 19:00 Pm we got back around past 15:00 Pm,i recommend this Hotel to those who want cheaper hotel ,more power to Hotel Familia Feliz hope we can go back soon i will bring my family
The room was clean and tidy! For the price, it's a pretty good hotel. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept peacefully at night. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was a window that could be opened with no strange smells. Nearby, the old eateries, Chau Kee Dai Pai Dong and Lung Fung Tea House, both served delicious food. The fried chicken wings and salt and pepper chicken at Sum Kee were even better than McDonald's, and the food at Wing Fai Restaurant was also great, especially their Chuan Gong Fish Head Noodles which I loved.
I'm quite satisfied with this guesthouse; it offers excellent value for money! First off, the location is great—less than a ten-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, and the bus stop isn't far either. Plus, the room was exceptionally clean and newly renovated. Since I was traveling with my parents, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room when they saw we had more people, which was incredibly thoughtful. The lobby is also spacious and has free travel guides you can take as souvenirs. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience! In a place like Hong Kong and Macau, where space is at a premium, this kind of value is definitely a win.
Choosing to stay at Macau Oh Be Cheerful Inn was absolutely the right decision! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the access control system made us feel very secure. The location is excellent, making it convenient and quick to get to all the major attractions. What touched us most was on our last day when we were leaving, the owner was incredibly warm and helpful. Not only did they help us carry our large luggage downstairs, but they also personally called a taxi for us and saw us off into the car. This kind of personal touch is really rare in Macau, and I highly recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThe room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍
AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient! Right outside, you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's, and walking a bit further brings you towards Grand Lisboa and Wynn. There are tons of pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants on the street. Plus, there are bus stops that can take you to both the old and new parts of the city.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. It's right next to the Lower Market and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk requires a 100 deposit, and they accept RMB, HKD, or MOP. The decor is relatively new, and the cleanliness is good. I'll consider staying here again next time I'm in Macau.
KKatarzyna LThe hotel is located right in the center of the old town, which makes it very convenient—most attractions are within walking distance. The view from the room overlooking the city is definitely a nice bonus.
The staff speak English and are very helpful, which made the stay much smoother. There’s also a free luggage storage option, so you can easily leave your bags after check-out without any hassle.
That said, the hotel itself feels a bit outdated and doesn’t fully match the photos in terms of quality. However, we chose one of the cheapest options in Macau for a weekend stay, so we weren’t expecting anything luxurious. Overall, it’s a practical choice if location matters more than comfort.
AAnonymous UserThe room was very clean, and they provided disposable bedding and towels, contrary to some reviews claiming there were no towels. The price before the May Day holiday was really good. It's a bit of a walk to Senado Square, but there's a bus stop not far from the entrance, making it convenient to get to other major hotels and Senado Square. There's a restaurant right next door downstairs, and their Yangzhou fried rice is pretty good. If the hotel offers good prices in the future, I'd definitely choose this place again.

DDaizhuonaiyouzhudaochuwanThe front desk staff were excellent, especially the two handsome guys and beautiful ladies who proactively offered us breakfast. GreenYou is truly a bargain during the off-season. For the same price, definitely don't choose the Victoria Hotel across the street – that place is like the Eight Immortals Restaurant, with many guests dying there in recent years. Friends staying near the Border Gate, please be aware!
KKaikai10Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
