The Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan truly lives up to its five-star reputation. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent amenities, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are very convenient. The toiletries, bath towels, and hand towels were all impeccably clean, and the large bath towels were especially comfortable. The lobby is quite grand and impressive. The staff were all very welcoming, especially the gentleman at the front desk who checked me in. He was patient, thorough, and attentive. Since I'm older and have trouble sleeping, I requested a quiet room, and the staff member, whose name tag read 'Qiao,' arranged it perfectly for me. The baggage handlers in the lobby were also very friendly. The Kempinski's management is quite generous; I came back late one night and realized I'd forgotten to buy water, and the front desk immediately arranged for four bottles to be sent to my room. I'm truly grateful for that. The breakfast selection was also quite rich.

The mini-bar offered a good selection of complimentary drinks: plenty of purified water (2 bottles of Evian & filtered water daily), and the other beverages (coconut water & Coke) were decent. For seasonal welcome fruits, there were the usual watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, apples, pears, and oranges, all free. I assume you can get free refills for a normal amount. They can also cut the fruit and deliver it to your room. Since it was my birthday on check-in, they even gave me a small cake (it was quite tasty). The private butler service was excellent for a hotel of this price point. Calls were answered fairly promptly, and the standard laundry service was efficient and tidy. The butler was basically available 24/7, very friendly and approachable – a down-to-earth service style. Food, drinks, and spa treatments were not cheap, portions were small, and the taste was average. There's a small convenience store within the hotel grounds. The hotel's architecture and facilities are quite unique, and there's a super photogenic art museum a few hundred meters away. When the bar is open and it's busy, having a drink and swimming in the desert sounds like a great experience. The desert area around the hotel offers stargazing, fireworks, singing performances, and a standing swing (all free – I had to discover these myself as the hotel didn't fully inform me upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing). There are also some other typical desert activities (at an additional cost). Overall, it’s perfect for a vacation, relaxing and doing nothing, and great for taking photos!

This truly lives up to its reputation as Yinchuan's best five-star hotel. First, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially the bathroom, which was surprisingly large—it felt even bigger than the bedroom! The shower pressure was fantastic, and the toiletries were a British brand with a lovely, natural scent. The bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. They even provided a capsule coffee machine with coffee capsules. The complimentary shoe-shining service was a thoughtful touch, and the in-room internet was fast and reliable. Secondly, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. The Western pastry selection, especially the flaky croissants, was authentic and delicious. The live cooking stations for Eggs Benedict and egg white rolls are features you typically only find in top-tier five-star hotels. They also had freshly squeezed watermelon juice and rich, high-quality coffee. What really impressed me were the local Ningxia specialties in the Chinese section, such as Jinsi Sanzi, Tangmaya, Tangmaye, fried pastries, and mung bean cakes. The chef even enthusiastically introduced these local delicacies to me. And of course, there were other Ningxia specialties like lamb soup, lamb pies, beef buns, and goji berry yogurt—I was extremely satisfied. Finally, all the hotel staff provided excellent service, especially the housekeeping attendant on the day I checked in. This lady deserves special commendation for her thoughtful and warm service. The front desk even accommodated my request to keep a room key card, specially giving me a pristine commemorative card. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the Ningxia Museum. The JW Marriott Hotel Yinchuan left a wonderful impression on me. Yinchuan truly is a beautiful and friendly city.

I was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing reviews that mentioned the hotel was old and the facilities weren't great. However, after checking in, I actually found it to be pretty good. The room was very bright and clean. It was my birthday on the day I checked in, and the front desk staff, Xiao Ma, proactively arranged for the hotel to send a birthday cake. The service was also very enthusiastic. The breakfast even offered local specialties, though the taste could be improved. Overall, the value for money is excellent! 👍

This stay far exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The hotel's location is superb, right next to a bustling shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for taxis, getting around, and visiting attractions. The lobby is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff, especially Karida, were incredibly friendly. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no waiting at all. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. Hot water supply was stable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed night's rest. The facilities were comprehensive, the hallways were clean and odorless, and the cleaning staff were very attentive. Overall, it offers great value for money. The environment is quiet and elegant, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful, making it perfect for both short trips and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting – it's a trustworthy choice!

I traveled all the way from Beijing to the Desert Star Hotel just for the experience of staying in the desert. On the day of my check-in, a strong wind picked up around noon, making our cabin creak as if it might blow away. But surprisingly, there was no dust inside the room, just an exhilarating feeling. The bathroom in the cabin was clean and convenient, with plenty of hot water for showering. The bedding was comfortable, and the room temperature was just right. The hot pot dinner was fantastic, with a rich variety of ingredients. The beef and lamb slices were incredibly tender, and there were so many side dishes, Western pastries, stews, and BBQ options that we couldn't possibly try everything. Breakfast offered a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options with a wide selection. Staying at the Desert Star Hotel was truly a rare experience, living embraced by the stars and the desert. It was novel, comfortable, and delightful; every photo taken was a masterpiece. After 10 PM was prime stargazing time, and I hadn't seen such a sky full of stars in ages! The hotel's butler was diligent and responsible, sending guidance messages constantly. The most pleasant surprise was the timely stargazing index they provided – it was so useful! Before leaving, we accidentally found a necklace we had lost at the Star Cafe, which was another delightful surprise. The entire desert camp, from the reception and butler communication to the hygiene, cleaning, dining, and entertainment, was well-organized. The staff were friendly and patient, and with the added bonus of the desert and starry night views, it was truly a happy trip! 👍

Our first night was in a capsule room, which was quite spacious and comfortable for adults, and the kids really enjoyed it. For the second and third nights, we moved to a different room. Half of the curtains didn't block out light, the toilet constantly ran 24/7, and the shower would suddenly turn completely cold every three minutes or so. It was really terrible; it might just be a hardware issue with that particular room.

The room was satisfactory, and the front desk service was excellent. The coffee at the lobby bar was also delicious. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the room, but overall it was good and offered great value for money. Special commendation to Amanda at the front desk!

Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete. The mineral water and drinks in the room are free. If the mineral water is not enough, you can bring it to the housekeeper at any time. If you need to add it to the room, the coffee and black tea bags and ginger tea bags can be checked. Good, the room is also equipped with two bottles of ad calcium. Very friendly to children Hygienic: The hotel room is clean and tidy. The beds are all four-piece sets of the gold card brand. They are made of bubble cotton. It is very comfortable. There are also children's slippers and toothbrushes. Meeting Congee Road: Meeting Zhou Da is also very rich, and the dumpling millet porridge is very rich, and there are snacks and fruits.

This hotel is very stylish. There's a large dressing mirror right after entering the room, which is especially convenient for someone like me who takes photos eight times every ten minutes [grin][grin][grin]. It's also very clean. If I had a photo of myself, I'd have put two of them in there (they're so photogenic). The room size is exactly the 40 square meters advertised online, which was perfectly adequate for a family of three. There's a small sofa, which the kids really love. What I love most is that it's not fully carpeted; only around the bed, the floor is otherwise, which makes it feel very clean. The service at this hotel is also a key factor that compels me to review it. I arranged a pick-up at the station two days before check-in, and the driver called me half an hour before arrival. The driver was a woman, but she was very steady and had excellent driving skills [strong]. The front desk staff was very friendly and proactive in checking us in. Later, when we were leaving, we had to check out later due to our schedule, and the lady was very helpful in extending our stay for free. Overall, this stay was a truly amazing experience! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserService, scenery, and facilities – ultimate luxury. My first encounter with the Diamond 💎 Hotel was through Starry, and after reading online reviews, I was impressed by the beautiful views and attentive service. Then, Ctrip had a 'buy one, get one free' offer, which seemed like a great deal, so I booked it. It truly was a fantastic value. First, I experienced the hotel's service. Our butler, Felix, was incredibly thoughtful. We arrived by train 🚞 early in the morning and headed straight to the Shapotou scenic area. Felix thoughtfully prepared shoe covers and neck gaiters for us, accompanied us throughout, helped with luggage, and looked after the children. With three adults and two children, I honestly don't know how we would have managed in the scenic area without him. He waited patiently at each activity, making our entire visit to Shapotou stress-free. Felix was truly wonderful. Then, we returned to the hotel, which seamlessly blends ultimate beauty with top-notch facilities. To find such a stunning man-made landscape in the vast Tengger Desert, with a church and pool perfectly integrated, was amazing. Each room feels like a diamond 💎, and the room amenities are also top-tier. The hotel includes both à la carte and buffet options for breakfast and dinner, which is quite rare in such a remote desert. Our stay was excellent. Although there was a minor hiccup, the staff's service was impeccable and it was resolved to our satisfaction very quickly – hats off to them. However, I do have a suggestion: the hotel's public areas are a bit limited, and activities mainly rely on the Starry Hotel. The Diamond Hotel could consider offering some of its own unique activities.

GGuest UserSincere thanks to Wen Ruijing’s excellent staff for their enthusiastic service! I am very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel rooms, which truly matches the hardware of StarWorld, especially the warm hospitality of the staff, which makes us feel warm and comfortable. Our family felt very comfortable staying here. The hotel is very cost-effective. The front desk staff Wang Yanping is very good. Not only does she speak sweetly, but she also warms (my) heart with her heart and details, which left a deep impression on me. Thank you very much! I wish Wen and Ruijing’s family happiness, thank you for your hard work! Will stay here again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserThe room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.

CChangjinglushenduzhongduhuanzheMy first two days in Yinchuan were spent at the Sheraton, which was pretty good overall. For my last night, after returning to Yinchuan from Zhongwei, I chose the Courtyard thinking it was closer to the high-speed rail station. To my surprise, the experience was really bad. On check-in day, the room reeked of smoke. After requesting a room change, the smoke smell was gone, but when I took out the disposable slippers to put them on, they had clearly been worn (I forgot to take a photo of this). Then I went to use the restroom and found the toilet seat was dirty. Since I had already unpacked my luggage, I didn't want to change rooms again. I called the front desk, and they said they would send someone to handle it. After about 15 minutes, an older lady arrived. She glanced at the slippers and casually said they just didn't have a string tie, but they were clearly used. I didn't want to argue about it. She then looked at the toilet, asking where it was dirty. After I pointed it out, she stared at it repeatedly, then just sprayed it and wiped it down, and that was it. Later that evening, after dinner, I returned to the hotel and wanted to put drinks in the fridge, but found it wouldn't close properly. I called the front desk again to send someone for repairs. When the maintenance person arrived, he said the gasket was loose. After fixing it, he told me not to close the cabinet door, otherwise, it wouldn't dissipate heat! This is just ridiculous. Finally, after all that, I was about to fall asleep when the front desk suddenly called. They called to ask if the fridge had been fixed. Seriously, don't you have an internal communication system? The maintenance person had left over half an hour ago, and they called to ask again – is that appropriate? Upon check-out, they gave me four bottles of goji berry juice and a small doll. Honestly, it was an apology, but the overall experience was very disappointing.

GGuest UserThis hotel was a bit unexpected. I originally wanted to visit attractions in Xixia District, so I searched for a hotel with good reviews. It turned out to be in a tourist attraction, which was amazing. The hotel has an annex and a main building. Try to stay in the main building. The overall facilities of the annex are the same as those of a hospital ward. I asked the staff and they said it was a nursing home before. It feels a bit scary. Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't care. The facilities in the main building of the hotel are much newer, and breakfast and hot springs are also convenient. However, the hot springs are really mediocre, especially the shower area, which has a smell. Maybe it's because of the May Day holiday. The attractions are quite novel, and I saw the most people during the May Day holiday. The quality of various performances is very high, and the NPCs are very dedicated and professional, and their appearance is also online. I watched the Helan Festival and the big circus, and the price-performance ratio is not bad. The service is generally good, whether it is the restaurant or the guest room, the service awareness is not bad.
