But we face a scamming that we opened our safe to arrange some documents and cash then the housekeeping team arrived to cleanup … So i let them enter the room for cleaning but I didn’t close the safe since we are in the room in that time. The safe located inside the closet the one you can walk in ..
After they finished the cleaning We find 200 USD from our cash in the safe .. The cleaning team put the new laundry bag right on the top of the safe (in that time it was open) and now body noticed us that the safe is open …!!! I submitted a complaint to the front office of the hotel …!!! And i I described the cleaning staff to them exactly, and who was the person who entered the wardrobe containing the safe...!!! They said they would investigate the incident, and after two days they contacted me again saying they had questioned the cleaning staff, who denied taking anything from our safe...!!! And of course, we didn't find anything... which is obvious because no one would confess in this way without being pressured. And here's the question: why didn't the cleaning staff warn us that the safe was open when they went in to put the new laundry bag on top of it?
I recently stayed at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan, and overall, it was a decent experience—especially for the price.

I had a very pleasant stay at Aryaduta Medan. The hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, providing a relaxing place to rest. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to access shopping areas and local attractions. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of local and international dishes. Overall, Aryaduta Medan delivers great value and a comfortable stay. I would gladly return again.

Had pleasant stay for 1 night , the location is excellent, staff were all very friendly and breakfast was a nice way to start the day, would definitely recommend for the location and friendly service especially for family with young children
The hotel boasts an excellent location with easy access to all the key areas. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the managers are very cooperative. Thanks to the guidance of the line manager, my stay was pleasant, despite some challenges with the receptionists' English proficiency. Overall, the hotel is quite good, especially the room size. However, it is due for renovations, as the furniture and other facilities are showing their age.
Overall, the stay was pleasant. The accommodation was good, clean, and comfortable. The room was well-maintained and suitable for a relaxing stay.
However, there were some weaknesses. The hotel only has one lift, which caused inconvenience, especially during busy times. The check-out process was also quite slow and inefficient. There seemed to be no proper system or queue management, as guests who arrived earlier had to wait longer while others were called first.
With some improvements in the check-out management and lift facilities, the overall experience could be much better.
This hotel represents exceptional value for money, with quality rooms and exceptional services. I stayed 3 nights in April 2026, and i have wonderful view on the 8 floor. This trip was combination of business and pleasure. The breakfast had a range of options, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. However, it would be nice if milk was refrigerated, as with other Marriot group properties in Bal. There is a supermarket across the street and very large hypermarket about 5 minute walk from the hotel. An excellent bakery is 2 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is not near major shopping malls, but they can be easily reaching via a grab taxi for about $2 in 10 mins. The bed was super comfy and arm chair was great. However, the desk height was not really appropriate and do not sufficient for business work. However, I completed most work in the armchair with pillows for the laptop. Excellent range of TV channels including BBC and CNN. An ice bucket costs 50,000 IDR. ($4 Aus dollars) I used the pool which was great on 2nd floor with city views. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on extremely busy road and be careful when walking on the sidewalks (footpaths), it can be easy to fall. Still, I would highly recommended this hotel for the price paid and outstanding service and room quality for 4 star establishment. .
Everything was satisfactory overall. The only thing that needs attention is the bathroom; water tends to pool on the floor around the sink and toilet area after showering.

Loved the availability of WatsApp with the hotel, they responded promptly.
Despite 1 set of toiletries for 2 guest, seemed a little silly.
The housekeeper are always very kind to provide more when requested.
Excellent masseuse at the Spa on L2.
Breakfast buffet is sumptuous though the 'top up' is slow after 9am.
Centre point Centre shopping mall is just right behind the hotel.. with variety of f&b, shops & korean supermarket.

EElmutI stayed here with my family during our holiday in Medan. Although the hotel is a bit old, it has its own charm. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Traveling with a young child, we especially appreciated the nice swimming pool, which made our stay very enjoyable.

The staff so kind and soft spoken.. we love the view… Masha Allah.. so beautifull.. event we stay at standard room, we also can get the beatiful view of Danau Toba.. the breakfast was delicious.. this is the first time im going to Indonesia and i can eat all the food.. excellent.. i also like the tour package for free…keep it up..next time if i going to danau toba again, i will stay at waterfall inside Taman Simalem Resort..in Shaa Allah
GGuest UserWe stayed here this time for 3 nights. We had stayed here a couple of times before. The hotel maintains its hospitality, warmness and courtious reception of customers. It was quite easy to check in and out. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were friendlyand warm. There are little things that should be paid attention to such as the menu for breakfast.. Although the spread is good but there should be some variation/changes. Overall staying here you get value for your money.

SSIDSThis is hotel was rebranded from Radisson to aiho .. still good condition... The checkin process also excellent.. within 5 minutes I can go straight way to my room.. the only problem is they only have 2 elevator.. sometimes in of that not functioning due to maintenance service..
