4-Star Hotels in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan

A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, making it easy to open large suitcases. There's a big public bath and a laundry room, and breakfast was good. The room was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is right across from the station; you just take the pedestrian bridge down and you're there. If you have luggage, though, you'll need to take the elevator on the left side of the bridge down to street level, cross the zebra crossing, and then you're at the hotel. We visited in March when the plum blossoms were in full bloom. You can walk from the hotel through the station to Kairakuen Garden and then take the train back.

My stay at this accommodation was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! The place was impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. This hotel is perfect for family trips. It's located in front of the station and there's a convenience store nearby. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The large communal bath on the first floor is also spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Its a coxy house in a residential area. Best to be there before it gets dark. But no worries too,as young English speaking lady will guide you if you are lost. Elderly man also makes great effort to speak in English. That's really very kind of them. Knowing that we are not Japanese.. Ryokan very well kept. Clean . Room was big and comfortable. Onsen was nice and cozy. Clean. Breakfast was good . Elderly guy walked us to the Inari Shrine ,1 min walk away. Very nice of him. If in that area, I recommend to stay here for a cosy clean ryokan experience. .

This hotel is just beside Mito train station. It's super convenient to get around the area whether by bus or train. There's also a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel room although is not very big but it's pretty comfortable for 2 of us, it is also clean and quiet.

Service: The receptionists were incredibly patient and attentive, providing excellent service. They showed me bus routes, helped me book a taxi, and offered the hotel's bicycle rental service – perfect! I also apologize for the inconvenience I caused the hotel due to my own negligence; it was a lifesaver! I haven't used cash in China for over ten years, I'll be more mindful in the future. Environment: The pictures show the nearby Tsukuba Library and HAL events. Environment: There's a coffee shop on the first floor connecting area. I strongly advise all tourists to avoid it. A tiny cup of coffee, about 100ml, costs nearly 700 yen – seven times the price of a vending machine! The service is also terrible. No wonder no Japanese people drink there; the surrounding area is mostly used for studying. The food area was empty for several days. The room is spacious and the bathtub is large enough to stretch your legs. It is a very beautiful hotel because there is also a wedding hall. The adjacent hot springs were lined up for the first time because the general public was also used because the time zone I went to was bad. I put hot water in a jacuzzi, lukewarm water, and a hot open-air bath comfortably. There is also a sauna. The parking lot is on the back of the hotel. It feels like the place to stop with the guest and the hot spring facility user is separated, but it is a little disappointing that the hot spring use 々 seems to be stopping and could not stop on the hotel side. But guests can stop for free. Overall it was a very clean and good hotel.

This is my go-to hotel every time I'm on a business trip to Mito. Honestly, there's not much to say except for the slightly unvaried breakfast, it's pretty much perfect otherwise.

The first time I stayed at the Hoshino Group hotel, the price may not be expensive because the area has fewer sightseeing resources. From the reception check in to the departure check out, I can feel the enthusiasm of the staff, and they take the job seriously. The interior design and decoration of the room are very good, making people feel that the CP value is high. Overall, this is a very well managed hotel. Although the occupancy rate seems to be low, this hotel should not make much money for Hoshino Group, but the staff still clean and manage it carefully. Ibaraki Prefecture previously promoted bicycle lanes on sightseeing, hoping to attract tourists to Ibaraki City. Tupu City has a very large lake, Xia ヶ Pu, so there is also a very complete bicycle lane. Unfortunately, this hotel, as the facade of the city, promotes bicycle tours, but employees do not know the bicycle lane at all, it is recommended that they ride or drive around by themselves (the bicycle lane often shares a road with the car). After actually riding the bicycle lane, I found that the original plan failed not without reason, the bicycle lane has no characteristics, only the pastoral and lake views, there are no shops or attractions along the road, I feel very bored riding on the road, even the people on the road see me riding a bicycle feel strange. Despite these minor drawbacks, there are many advantages, including the bikes they offer to rent are actually very advanced, but the charges are quite reasonable! To sum up, if you just want to stay in the hotel is highly recommended; if you want to go to Tupu City to ride a bicycle to see the scenery, then you may want to consider whether there are other better bicycle lanes, not Tupu City; If you just want to challenge to ride Xia ヶ Pu, then the 90km bike lane is perfect for you.
