Hot Springs Hotels in Jilin, China

Our family of five stayed for two days over the May Day holiday, costing around 3600 RMB for two rooms. The hotel is brand new, very clean, and the facilities are decent. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful, answering all our questions. Normally, when I'm in Japan, most onsen hotels allow you to use the hot springs from around 5-6 AM until 11 PM. I think if guests could use the hot springs freely, it would greatly enhance their satisfaction, especially on days with bad weather or when they just want to relax during their trip. While traveling, breakfast is precious time spent with family. Unfortunately, on the first day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a simple private room. However, on the second day, the restaurant manager refused our request for a private room, citing a shortage of staff. I found this very disappointing, especially since there were no five-person tables in the main hall and the private rooms were empty. The hot springs close at 9:30 PM, but they kindly extended the time for us because we were late returning from dinner. I also forgot my watch in the onsen changing room, and a kind young lady with glasses at the front desk was very responsible and helped me retrieve it. Thank you!

The reception staff was incredibly welcoming and patient, thorough, and welcoming. Throughout my stay, the room service and other staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, with a thoughtful attention to detail. The room was clean and comfortable, with comprehensive amenities, making for a truly comfortable stay. Overall, the attentive service is highly recommended and I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent. The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers. I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all. There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them. The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future.

I came with my child this time, and I was worried about being overwhelmed by the sub-zero twenty-degree weather. But from the moment we landed, the hotel's 'Xue Man' butler took care of everything perfectly. 👉 Worried I wouldn't find the restaurant, they drew me a map. 👉 Worried I'd miss the airport shuttle, they proactively checked the schedule for me. 👉 Worried my child would be cold, they turned up the heating in the kids' room in advance. 👉 I casually mentioned wanting an early lunch, and they immediately coordinated it for me. This isn't just a hotel butler; it's my personal itinerary planner! The room was so warm I didn't want to leave, and the ski rental shop was super convenient, just a 3-minute walk downstairs. After skiing, soaking in the hot spring just topped off the feeling of pure bliss! Getting to the ski resort was incredibly easy. It was my first time visiting Northeast China, and I was initially worried I wouldn't adapt, but their service warmed my heart completely. From now on, when I want to ski in winter, this is my go-to place!

I booked a Stone Age-themed room, which my kids absolutely loved and had a blast playing in. The complimentary hot spring tickets were a fantastic value. From the moment I got off the bus and walked through the gate, I felt the service was exceptional. The doorman, the front desk, and even staff I didn't recognize were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. The infinity pool inside the hot springs was stunning, the food was reasonably priced, and the bath attendants were incredibly helpful, offering helpful guidance on every floor. Ms. Lin Haixia was especially helpful. She was my lucky star. I was just worried about getting a return ticket, and she just chatted with me and got a notification on her phone that she had been put on the waiting list. So lucky!

This guesthouse is incredibly unique and thoughtful. After experiencing the chaotic management and pre-packaged fruit for breakfast at Wanda Westin on our trip from Shanghai to Changbai Mountain, my expectations for this guesthouse weren't very high. However, Guan Zhi ultimately made our Changbai Mountain trip perfect. From the thoughtful communication and guidance before check-in to the seamless and attentive pick-up/drop-off service, every staff member showed immense enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership. Even the young ladies helped us with our luggage. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with snacks and a variety of beverages. The hot spring dip in the courtyard after dinner, along with the fragrant and sweet roasted sweet potatoes, made our children fall in love with this guesthouse. They even thought Guan Zhi was a more upscale hotel than the Westin. Guan Zhi's breakfast was a true highlight in terms of quality. Whether it was the fruit, homemade shredded chicken, prawns, or their own braised beef, beef noodles, and soup rice, everything captured the taste buds of our family of four. My eldest daughter, who is usually very picky about breakfast, even had two servings of beef noodles the next morning. On New Year's Eve after dinner, we joined the New Year's Eve feast organized by the owner. We and a few other guests enjoyed the owner's 25-year-old baijiu. The sweet baijiu brought together friends from all corners of the country, allowing us to spend a comfortable and relaxed New Year's Eve. The owner and their team are dedicated to building Guan Zhi into a warm and influential brand. With such dedication and full commitment, I believe Guan Zhi and the owner will go a long way. Perhaps it was fate, but on our only full day exploring the North Slope, we were lucky enough to catch the only time Tianchi (Heaven Lake) was open in two weeks, making us among the chosen few to witness its beauty. The hotel offers a free shuttle service from the station, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. They even upgraded our room for free. On our last night, they thoughtfully considered our elderly family members and let us stay in the same room, saving us the hassle of moving – a huge thank you for that! The room was spacious and very clean, and there's an open-air hot spring on the top floor. The hotel's location is excellent; it's convenient for visiting any attraction. Cloud Top Market and Endori are within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, fruit stalls, a pharmacy, and bubble tea shops nearby – it's a bustling and very convenient area. Highly recommended!

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

This hot spring hotel is only a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making it perfect if you don't want to travel far into the mountains for a soak. I highly recommend the outdoor hot springs; there are far fewer people than indoors, and it's not cold at all if you briefly step out of the water – just be careful not to get your hair wet. The breakfast selection was quite diverse. Aside from the hot springs and various perks, the hotel itself is pretty average. The room decor is very plain, there are no smart controls, and not even a smart toilet. The most critical issue is the terrible soundproofing; you can hear everything happening outside the door crystal clear.
