Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

This hotel had been on my 'favorites' list for a while, so my expectations were quite high. After my stay, I'm a bit disappointed. **Facilities:** The hotel has a gym, kids' room, and entertainment room. The kids' room is quite basic and unsupervised. The entertainment room, with billiards and table tennis, is decent. The gym was empty, and the equipment was new; the changing rooms were excellent. The cocktails at the lobby bar were pretty average, but the live singer was good. The breakfast buffet had limited variety and the taste was just okay. The Chinese restaurant offers group deals, and the food was acceptable, but nothing special. Honestly, there aren't many good dining options nearby, so you're mostly stuck with the hotel's. **Hygiene:** The room environment was fine and quite spacious. Be careful with mosquitoes – don't leave the door open easily. When they provided children's toiletries, there was no mouthwash cup. I hope they can include one in the future, as glass cups are quite dangerous for kids. **Environment:** Overall, the hotel's environment is very comfortable and great for photos. **Service:** The service isn't quite up to par. Staff members aren't very enthusiastic when they see guests. The shuttle bus driver was great and very nice. Generally, the staff members I encountered weren't very friendly. For a hotel in this price range, I feel the service awareness is a bit lacking. **Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets & Sightseeing Car Tickets:** This saved us some money, and the shuttle bus drops you right at the scenic spot entrance, which is very convenient. **5 Digitally Retouched Travel Photos (requires advance booking):** The photographer was very nice, and the photos were ready quickly. He also provided good 'emotional value' (meaning he was good at making us feel comfortable and happy during the shoot).

Choosing Fengshen Seaview Hotel in Shuanglang was absolutely the right decision! The overall two-tone design is incredibly stylish, making every casual photo look like an influencer's perfect shot, complete with a natural 'vibe' filter. The room directly faces Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, offering expansive, unobstructed views. You can witness stunning Erhai sunsets without even leaving your room – the scenery is just incredible. The service is also exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, and there's even a lovely afternoon tea. My stay here was fantastic; it's just so relaxing to stay here when visiting Dali~

We stayed in a Pullman villa, which was incredibly spacious and came with its own private courtyard, offering a very tranquil experience. The hotel provides golf cart service for villa guests; a quick call to the front desk and a cart arrives within 2-3 minutes – very convenient. The hotel package also included afternoon tea, which was of excellent quality, truly five-star standard without any shortcuts. The only drawback is that because the hotel has been open for a while, some of the hardware facilities around the property are showing wear and tear, which detracts from the aesthetics. We even skipped the complimentary travel photography for this reason. I'd suggest they gradually upgrade these facilities.

The resort is spacious, with attentive service. We booked the Hot Spring Superior Twin room. The perks included were very thoughtful: the stocked mini bar, access to the hot pool, breakfast, and airport transfer. We communicated mostly via WeChat. Front desk was attentive, helping us arrange a daytrip driver to Ruili, and sorting out places to eat. Although the place is away from the city centre, it is equipped with a restaurant and massage parlor nearby. The closeness to the airport and the noise may be a concern for some.

A wonderful hotel nestled near the Baisha Ancient Town, it may look unassuming at first but it felt like a fairytale once you stepped into the hotel. Every part of the stay was perfect - from the 24hr butler service, free flow coffee/orange juice throughout the day (with amazing views no less), daily bbq dinner & goodnight dessert, fireworks display and sparklers and even free tie-dye experience. Travelled with my late 50s & mid 60s parents and they both absolutely loved it as well. Nothing but praises for this hotel, we’ll definitely be back again! Also we loved the breakfast mixian & dimsum!!! I also had the wholemeal walnut bread today and it was so good

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Starlight Night Market. The river-view rooms offer a direct view of the Lancang River, the Starlight Night Market, and White Elephant Beach! I stayed on the south side of the river for New Year's Eve and watched the fireworks show, and this time staying on the north side was a great, varied experience! They upgraded our room to one with a river view, and the scenery is beautiful. However, the bass from the Six Nations Music Plaza downstairs plays continuously until after 11 PM, so those with heart conditions should definitely reconsider!!! The hotel lobby is grand, fresh, and elegant, with a rich Dai ethnic flair. The reception staff's Dai traditional clothing is beautiful and graceful! There are welcome drinks in the lobby! The hotel offers free hot springs, a water park, and an infinity pool. The hot spring water is relatively clean, but a few pools had some moss, which I suggest they clean promptly! The pool faces the Lancang River directly, making it perfect for photos! Breakfast was abundant, with a wide variety of delicious options! The service was warm and friendly; staff actively smiled and greeted guests! This hotel offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth revisiting!

The room is clean, the decoration of the public area is very design, the butler service, the private soup courtesy of the room is also very beautiful, and the emotional value is in place. Storm Hot Spring reservation system, privacy is very good. The location is also good, very close to Qianwangmen, and nearby businesses are also enough. You can stay a few more days when you have enough time.

Facilities: The public facilities are incredibly new and excellent, and the hotel is located near a scenic area. The rooms are also very spacious, and there's a particularly large pool with a beautiful view directly facing the river. Hygiene: The hygiene felt excellent. The weather was quite warm when we visited, but the slippers in the room were still well-packaged, which I really appreciated. I loved it and would like to stay at this hotel again next time. Service: The service is great. There's a 24-hour butler who can be reached anytime for any questions, assistance, or anything you don't understand. Environment: The environment is wonderful, and the hotel is very large. Each floor offers a different view, and there's a public laundry room on the second floor. Staying at this hotel truly feels like coming home; it's very welcoming and makes you feel right at ease.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right across from Mixc mall and close to local parks and basketball courts. The hotel may be hard to find but I have attached a photo of the doors to go through, then go to the 25th floor. Pool was not in use during our stay which was a bit disappointing.
