Busan Hotels with balcony

I booked this place over a month in advance, and it has a lovely modern-retro vibe, very cozy. The shower and toilet are separate, and it even comes with a Dyson hairdryer. The room feels different from a typical hotel room. On the ground floor is a coffee shop owned by the same person, which closes at 9 PM. You can use your card to enter and exit through the side door. Upon check-in, you get two complimentary Americanos (you can swap them for other drinks by paying the difference). It's very convenient if you're visiting Yeongdo, though it's a bit far from Gwangalli and Haeundae. Little surprises: 1. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower caps, etc., are provided. 2. The mini-fridge drinks and snacks are free. 3. A handwritten note and a creative cultural souvenir are gifted. Amenities: Convenience store: Across from the coffee shop. Shopping: Nampo-dong Walking Street, Lotte Department Store, Olive Young, etc. (10-minute walk). Restaurants: Many dining options nearby, and the owner also provides recommendations – check the check-in guide. Minor regrets: 1. The bed frame has sharp corners, and due to its placement, it's easy to accidentally bump into it. You need to be mindful of your walking path. 2. The separate shower room has no place to put clothes. I booked Room 2 this time; I wonder if other room types have a better layout. This place is very relaxing, perfect for a two-day getaway to clear your mind. The owner is also very enthusiastic. Afterwards, you can switch to another hotel in Haeundae or Gwangalli to enjoy the sea, explore attractions, and go shopping.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Jagalchi Fish Market, just a one-minute walk away. It's about a 10-minute bus ride to Songdo Cable Car. Getting to Haeundae is quite far, costing around 20,000 Korean Won by taxi, or over an hour by public transport. A taxi to Busan KTX Station is about 7,000 Korean Won. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and they provided a full range of toiletries, including toothbrushes. The front desk service was excellent. Next door is a traditional Korean spa, and guests staying one night can get a free voucher from the front desk to use it. This Korean spa is similar to a large Japanese bathhouse in terms of facilities, but the overall atmosphere is different. It has several large pools and saunas. I only went once. The area around the hotel is a bit chaotic since it's next to a market. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

The location is great, with easy access to public transport and close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. The environment is clean. However, the bathroom drain is a bit slow, which causes a drain smell in the room.

The facilities are new, and the view is great. The room has a washing machine, dryer, a simple induction cooker, and a water dispenser. The bathroom has a bidet toilet. The room size is also very generous. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location – right in the heart of Nampo-dong, making it very convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The front desk staff are also very friendly. Breakfast isn't provided, but there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and there isn't any special security control between floors, so they're all interconnected. However, after staying for five nights, I felt that it was safe enough. Overall, it's a great hotel with high value for money!

View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

Gorgeous hotel in a really convenient location, only 3 mins from the subway station and right across from the convenience store. The hotel itself was really clean and tidy. The room had a washing machine, fridge, microwave, AC, TV and private bathroom. Most everything was provided but it would be good to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and razor. The staff were also really friendly and helpful and the lobby area is pretty. I would definitely stay here again, 10/10 recommended 😊

Families, who understands this feeling? Right outside the hotel, a beach instantly melts away all your worries, giving you that relaxed vibe. Right across the street are all sorts of pubs, BBQ joints, cafes, and more – super convenient! Since I was traveling alone, I chose a small, semi-ocean view room. Though small, it had everything I needed, kind of like a guesthouse. The balcony next to the bed, when you open the door, offers a direct view of Gwangalli Bridge. At night, you can even capture beautiful nightscapes, watching people stroll on the beach – very therapeutic. The room provides toiletries, so no worries there! However, remember to bring a travel adapter for your plugs.

Im a first timer in busan, saw a travel blog sharing this hotel location and service is great and pricing is afforable. I paid about 150 per night for double room (for 2pax). Encounter quite a few issues but because one of the staff (a young man) his service is the best there and it provide me some comfort. 1) bath towel shortage I was given face towel x2 as a replacement for bath towel. I only know this after i ask on the 2nd day. I also mentioned there were no bottle drinks replaced. So when someone come over and pass me, he told me no more bath towel and gave me 2 x face towel and a semi wet bath towel. Then he wanted to come in and see if i lied about the mineral water. When he open the fridge he saw the drinks (3 bottled) and say there is drink but these were yesterday ones and i asked for 1 only. From what i see, when they come in clean the room, of the room still have water and towel they will not replace or they will replace half? 2) staff being rude There was this guy, probably middle age i encounter him on 4 Apr night time, i went to inform no bath towel on the 1st day. The room only had 1 bath towel and 4x face towel. So counter dont know of the towel shortage. He give me a unhappy face and ask me ”so”, ”what you want”... im speechless and i dont want to spoil my holiday mood. I told him i will comw later to get and he says 1st come 1st serve he dont have so many at the counter. :( 3) no aircon This seems to be a norm for most hotel during cold season. So i had to open rhe balcony door and it was noisy. Anyway i will not come back to this hotel to stay but i must say the location is great. Just beside the traditional market and the stretch has loads of restuarant.

The hotel is already quiet old and need for renovation. The stuff was really well trained and polite. But the room was not such good. The toilet flush was weak, and it wasn't separated from the shower. The water in the shower was hot and the pressure was strong, but the drain was very poor and water accumulated, so I had to turn the shower down to the minimum setting to avoid flooding the room. The TV was hanging crooked on the wall, and I decided not to touch it because I was worried it might fall. The wallpaper and baseboards were heavily stained from splashes, and they themselves were already damaged. The hotel's greatest strengths are its location and its polite, well-trained, and friendly staff. However, it is in dire need of renovation.

The hotel is a bit old, but the room is spacious and faces the sea with a balcony. The location is convenient, close to the subway station, and it's easy to get a taxi right downstairs. There's also Lotte Department Store nearby, along with cafes and convenience stores.
