I've stayed in a few properties in Nusa Dua and was looking forward to this stay. Unfortunately I would have to say it fell below expectations. The property is dated but still well maintained enough. The room is also well appointed. Location is good and the beach is awesome. However the service standards seem to be lacking. The luggage delivery to the room was delayed and there isn't a spirit to assist guests to make their trip as seamless as possible. For instance, when I asked the concierge to check on the tides at the beach they declined and made an excuse saying that it wasn't something they could do. No effort in trying. The buggy service cuts off at 9 pm and during the later hours of the evening, no requests will be entertained even though it is quiet with not much activity. Not saying they need to do this, but going to extra mile for guests is something ive seen other comparable 5 star hotels do. At the beach club, the service staff either couldn't see me call for them or tried to ping pong the task to each other. The station for towels are centralised to only 1 area and to fetch them it really took some walking and time. Overall, it felt like the entire affair was lacking coordination and manpower and staff seemed to do the bare minimum. For this price, I wouldn't stay again.

It's one of the best hotels in Nasa Dua, Bali. Very huge area, you need just minimum 2-3 days to discover hotel and its area, beaches and sightseeing around. Very big pool, and nice beach. However, the beach is good in shallow side, while going deep there are rocks. Very green hotel. And quite expensive one in the area

We choose Grand Hyatt for our last leg of Bali Trip to relax and do nothing, and we were totally relaxed.
Room was clean and organised with baby crib and clean bathroom.Lot of space to sleep and keep things with great of view of Garden.Room service was great and on time.
Breakfast and food was very nice with different restaurants like Japanese, Italian.
Lot of activities for kids above 3 years with baby care which gives me time for couple.
3-4 Swimming pools to go around.
Private clean beach which is the best part to hang around for beach lovers.
Easy checkin process and super friendly and always helping staff.
2-3 days you can spend within resort and relaxed.

In other hotels you do get a welcome drink and refreshing towel. But at Grand Hyatt Bali instead, you get multiple notifications about ongoing constructions (see attached). And of course only after booking and arrival at the hotel, no information upfront. So during our stay we faced several construction sites and noise from morning, throughout the entire day, till evening; even during night time. Construction at the beach, in the buildings, in the rooms, at the pool, simply all over the hotel area. A nightmare which you can’t escape, no matter where you go. So if you are really into hammering and sawing sounds, we recommend choosing this hotel. If not, better stay away from it. In the end, we address special thanks to the Grand Hyatt Bali Management Team, who ruined our very special holidays as freshly baked family with our newborn son. It’s a shame how you put maintenance prior your guests satisfaction. Your construction planning lacks of a proper flip-book and your facilities have nothing in common with Hyatt / 5 star hotel standards.

We got a room right next to the service door and where the caddies park. It was really humid with a strong mold smell and the "garden view" was more like a wall and part of a pond. The water was filtered tap water, in a supposedly 5 star hotel! After complaining next day we got a new room without noises and high humidity with proper bottled water.
The service was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Bali. Our garden view room was clean and peaceful, with water lilies, ducks, and birdsong that my daughter loved. The kids’ club, yoga, and coconut leaf craft were great activities, and the pool with slides was amazing. The hotel made our daughter’s birthday extra special with a complimentary cake, decorations, and bouquet. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Truly a memorable family stay!
