Just came back to my home country from Bali, finally it’s time for some hotel reviews. Checked in really late that day but there is 24 hours reception counter so not a problem. I have myself a garden view room, so please expect there will some noise coming from the lower floors if you are a light sleeper then this is something you need to consider. So far my room is okay except I saw a lizard in my room and ants coming from nowhere (nothing but accidentally poured over some water nothing sweet also). There are two universal power points by each side of the bed which come very handy so you don’t need to bring your own universal adapter but in my case one of the right side just not functioning.
Nice hotel!
It is a great value for money!
1. Location is very good:
- the beach is in a 5-10 minute walk;
- supermarket is in a 5-minute walk;
- there are a lot of cafes around hotel;
2. The room is spacious and clean.
There is a parking for cars and bikes.
The hotel is quite, there are around rice field.d
3. Breakfast is good, but modest
Eventually, I recommend this place!
We stayed one night at RedDoorz Hotel before our dolphin tour in Lovina. It was a simple but pleasant stay clean room, working air conditioning, and friendly management. Great value for the price!

We had a nice and comfortable stay. The place was clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. We were only there for a night as we had to wake up early for dolphin watching in Lovina. The only bad part was finding the place, it’s not on the main road and the road leading there was pretty dark and located inside a housing area.
It is very easy to find on the side of the road, half an hour away from Rowena Beach. The environment is OK, you can see the sea in the backyard of his house. I smelled the smell of light soot at night, and I couldn't accept the allergy of rhinitis. In the morning of the store, I saw dolphins + hanging drift (see dolphins 50, hanging drift 50, the result of the boat booked at 6 o'clock on the second day was delayed (the reason given is that the weather is bad, can not go to the sea) and finally had to go to Rowena Beach to spend more than 200 yuan, chartered the sea. Remember, it is not necessarily reliable to see dolphins at the homestay. Be sure to book on the official website of Trip.com .
I forgot to take a photo of the hotel. The backyard leads directly to the beach, and the swimming pool is relaxing. The price is not expensive. The hygiene is also OK, and the filter element has not changed color.
4 people chartered a boat and float for 600k. No need to make an appointment and negotiate the price directly with the captain. It is the first choice for chasing dolphins.
The small shop at the intersection is quite delicious, 18k for a serving of chicken fried rice.
## Check-in Convenience
Regarding check-in convenience, if you're staying in Lovina, this place is quite recommended. It's a resort with both villa and standard room areas, and the front desk is open 24/7. So, no matter how late you check in, you won't be left confused, and there's always someone available to assist you with any questions! (However, for my second stay, I need to be clear about a few things so you can judge for yourselves.)
## Safety
The security here is generally higher than a private guesthouse. However, if you're staying in a villa, especially as a couple, do be extra cautious. The doors are opened with a key, and the main entrance to the room is an old-fashioned Chinese wooden door with an equally old-fashioned locking mechanism. Safety first when you're traveling! Also, if your villa is on the edge of the property, there might be an iron gate leading to the beach. Make sure to double-check that this door is securely locked before you go to bed. Other sliding doors have standard latches. (Again, safety first!)
## Facilities
This was my second stay here, and my first visit was completely pleasant! This time, however, I had no hot water, and the water pressure was extremely low, meaning I couldn't even take a hot shower on the first night! My impression of the place immediately plummeted. We had specifically asked our Ctrip agent to arrange an extra bed with the hotel in advance and ensure it was placed in the room before our arrival. We arrived at 3 AM, and they charged us for the extra bed, but it wasn't in the room! We had to go to the front desk, and only then did they remember to set it up for us!
And here’s the most outrageous part: the 'extra bed' was just a mattress! I paid an additional 400 (currency not specified) for just a mattress. Given that they didn't even put it in the room beforehand and I had to go to the front desk to sort it out, we suspected they simply thought three girls could share a 1.8-meter bed. It felt like they charged us more for an 'extra bed' without actually providing one. Completely unacceptable! If you plan to use the swimming pool, I'd suggest you also ask Ctrip to communicate with them in advance to ensure it's cleaned. Since it's an outdoor pool, it inevitably collects leaves and dirt. Make sure it's spotless before you get in!
## Service
Regarding the service, I have a few points to make:
1. **Check-in experience**: Honestly, regarding the extra bed, the hotel displayed a 'we'll only act if you push us' attitude.
2. If you've booked a villa room, make sure to ask for your complimentary drink vouchers! (Standard rooms don't receive free drinks).
3. **Arranging transportation**: I recall during my first stay, a hotel staff member told me they could drop us off in town for free, but pick-up would be charged. This time, however, that complimentary drop-off service was no longer available! We didn't want the hassle of finding a taxi ourselves, so we let them take us. A Grab ride would have cost 35,000 IDR, but they charged us 75,000 IDR – more than double! It was outrageous. So, it's better to arrange your own transport, even if it means a bit more effort.
4. The lack of hot water was reported multiple times, but despite their attempts to fix it, there was no lasting solution. We eventually called Ctrip to request a room change. Only after the platform communicated with the hotel was the hot water finally repaired!
5. **The hotel breakfast!** I really don't understand what happened. During my first stay, I was directly given a menu to order à la carte dishes. This time, without even asking, I was directed straight to the buffet breakfast. (When I inquired with a staff member, she said: 'Villa guests can order à la carte, but standard room guests can only have the buffet.') However, the quality control between the two is just not on the same level! What's more, I noticed many other guests weren't aware that an à la carte menu was even an option. I truly can't comprehend how they let things get to this point!
## Environment
The overall hotel environment is quite lovely. It boasts its own private beach and tree-lined paths that feel like a natural oxygen bar. It’s very comfortable, and having breakfast by the sea in the morning is incredibly relaxing! The room's interior environment is also decent, though there were some minor issues like peeling paint on the walls.
I didn't take many detailed photos as I was mostly focused on enjoying the scenery (after all, you can't let a few inconveniences spoil your entire trip!).
Location was good, close to main road and also the beach yet tucked away, quiet and peaceful. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, I came here with my husband & daughter and we loved it! Huge space, with a decent pool, lots of area for kids to run around & parents to sit and chill. Room was super clean, ac was cold, bathroom was clean and the water heater works perfect. We came to Lovina by car and realised it’ll be so much easier to get around on a bike so he helped us get a bike to rent with very affordable price. Highly recommend this place for couples, families, or solo travellers. Certainly worth the price, and will come back for sure!

Bali Buleleng Hotel Guide
Bali is a traditional Australian vacation destination, and with good reason. Imagine pleasant beaches, picturesque rice terraces, and an unbeatable laid-back atmosphere. Explore the Sacred Monkey Forest, relax at a yoga retreat, or stroll through art markets in Ubud. Along the coast, locations like Seminyak and Kuta have delicious food, waves that are suitable for surfing, and breathtaking sunsets. Not to be overlooked are temples such as Uluwatu and Tanah Lot, which are ideal for an evening vista. You can enter the country from Australia and remain there for up to 30 days without a visa. Just make sure you have one blank page for the entrance stamp and that your passport is valid for at least six months. It's too simple.
Bali's primary international gateway, Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), commonly called Denpasar Airport, is situated immediately south of the well-known beach towns of Kuta and Seminyak. It's easy to schedule a private transfer or hail a cab when you arrive at the contemporary, compact airport. Although they might be blocked in specific tourist areas, ride-hailing applications like Grab and Gojek are popular.
The majority of tourists use private drivers for day trips since they are flexible and reasonably priced. Only those with experience should ride scooters, which are popular for shorter distances, particularly in places like Canggu or Ubud. While walking is not the best option on major routes, it is an alternative in smaller communities.

Best Areas to Stay in Bali
Seminyak: Seminyak is a clear favorite if this is your first visit to Bali. This seaside region combines chic beach resorts, boutique stores, delicious dining, and exciting beach clubs—all conveniently located. Although it's not entirely walkable, it's simpler to navigate than many other areas of the island, and the atmosphere is laid-back yet elegant. Popular locations like Potato Head and Ku De Ta keep the action going day and night, while The Legian and W Bali – Seminyak offer beachfront luxury.
Ubud: Nestled among verdant rice terraces and nestled in the jungle, Ubud is the cultural center of Bali. You can get a smoothie at a peaceful café, take a yoga class, peruse local art markets, or simply unwind in a villa with a view of the valley. Ubud is ideal if you're interested in wellness or want to learn more about Balinese customs because it's calmer and cooler than the coast. Visit locations like the famous Hanging Gardens or Alila Ubud for a calm, picturesque stay.
Canggu: Surfers and digital nomads have come to love Canggu, a relaxed beach location. There will be plenty of waves, views of rice fields, relaxed cafés with strong coffee and quick Wi-Fi, and more smoothie bowls than you can count. Despite becoming busier every year, it has a younger, more laid-back attitude than Seminyak. Even though it's not a highly walkable location, getting around is made simple by scooters and ride-hailing applications. There are plenty of options for private villas and boutique hotels.
Nusa Dua: Bali's more refined and tranquil side can be seen in Nusa Dua. Some of the most opulent resorts on the island may be found there, situated alongside serene beaches with gated communities and well-kept gardens. For families or honeymooners who want to unwind and take in everything in one location, it's a fantastic option. Places like The St. Regis Bali Resort and Grand Hyatt Bali offer excellent service; imagine spa services, beachside relaxation, and all-day dining without the throngs of Kuta.
Bali's Top Activities
Tegallalang Rice Terraces: These famous tiered rice fields, located just north of Ubud, are ideal for strolls, taking pictures of the sunrise, or enjoying a fresh coconut while taking in the scenery. It's colder and quieter in the early morning.
Uluwatu Temple: This sea temple, which is perched on a cliff above the Indian Ocean, provides breathtaking views of the sunset and a spectacular Kecak fire dance at twilight. Beware of cunning monkeys!
Seminyak Beas: Visit places like Potato Head or Ku De Ta to spend the day relaxing, surfing, or enjoying cocktails. Excellent for relaxed comfort and sunset views.

Outstanding
ЭЭмиль из ЛёнинбергаA great place, there is my yard with the exit to the shore. Well, I wouldn't risk swimming next to you as some drains fall and boats stand and lots of trash if the water is clean, the yard was lying on it and floating deeper. The road to the hotel is ground, through the field. Staff friendly, responsive. Kitchen on the street, there is a teapot, a refrigerator, microwave and a stove. The bathroom was not very stressful. In the house, it is cozy as grandmother in the village, there is air conditioning, smart TV, a lot of mosquito destruction equipment (spiral, electric flyer and ultraviolet flyer) .
GGuest UserIf you stay with Sri and Adi you never have to worry about anything here. They are so sweet and warm, and will always look after you. They really treated me like a sister. They helped me arrange a driver, offered to make an itinerary/ arrange activities, made delicious food for me and packed it nicely when I was going out, and insisted on giving me rides. We had dinner together and Sri told me their story, which was so interesting.
The location was great, walking distance to so many restaurants, the beach/ dolphin statue, and a few convenience stores.
The rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable. Sri and Adi take obvious pride in keeping the place spotless for guests. The place is right by the road but you can’t hear anything inside the rooms, the sound insulation is great.
I was only here a few days but I miss my Srinadi family already and would love to come back some day :)
SSerge V.We loved this place! It's a high-end hotel with a matching price level, but the quality is absolutely worth it, especially if you compare it with prices outside of Bali.
🛎️ Exceptional service: The staff is very friendly, and the ladies at the reception assist with everything— even through WhatsApp.
🛖 Great top-of-the-hill location of the hotel and an
amazing room (Grand View): Stunning infinity swimming pool and jacuzzi, both heated (30°C &
40°С).
💆🏻♂️ Pricey but excellent massages: Especially enjoyed
reflexology with Wawan - highly recommended.
🍽️ Amazing à la carte all-you-can-eat breakfast. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had. To get the same quality and quantity elsewhere on Bali would cost at least €50 for two people.
KKristinaThis is not the first time I have returned to this hotel. We book a villa with its own pool, it is magical. Everything is thought out. A luxurious massage for 1 person is included in the price. A good buffet with a beautiful view of the volcanoes. So I recommend taking a tour from the hotel to the neighboring island and seeing a lot of fish! There is also a store on the territory where you can buy robes, exactly the same as those in the room, they cost only 400 local.
GGuest UserSugi is avery nice guy and share a durian with us :)
The room is nice with a patio and a wonderful view (see picture)
The room has no air con but we are in the Mountain so it is ok.
Love the hammock in the patio!
The waterfall around are just crazy!!!
ДДарьяExcellent house guest. Clean, comfortable, very kind staff, all showed up told. Stopped for one night, very nice home breakfast was in the morning, recommended.
VValerieVoor de prijs die je betaald krijg je een mega grote kamer. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed!
AAnjaliWe booked in the morning for the same night through Trip.com, when we arrived they said, there happened an ovet booking and system error, our booked rooms are not available. They were waiting for us wirh a solution. They suggeseted stay at Keshava villa, another properry of same group, with free breakfast for 4 of us. The newly opened Keshava villa with swimming pool was bliss.
The staffs were very well behaved super hosts.
