I always wanted to stay in this hotel since it is right next to where I leave and we used to Go to the bar time to time to have drinks yet I am a bit disappointed. The location is absolutely perfect but I find the staff not very communicative and the cleaning a bit avarage.

What a fantastic hotel! I was genuinely surprised and delighted when I saw my room upon check-in. I had requested a quiet room and ended up with a corner room, which offered an amazing view from its corner windows. The warm sunlight streaming onto the corner sofa made for a super comfortable spot to relax and soak up the rays. The room design was very well thought out, and surprisingly, the bathroom featured a three-part separation (toilet, shower, and sink are separated). There was even a full cart for making hot water and coffee. It felt quite luxurious! The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and frequently checked in to see how my stay was going. It truly was a surprisingly delightful experience. The location is also excellent; just over 200 meters away, there's a tram stop, and a few stops will take you right to the city center. It's perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the central area. Highly recommend!

The hygiene is OK, and the bed in the room is quite comfortable. The design of the bathroom is a bit strange, but it is no problem to use it. Honestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant. Pros: Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype. Average service from teenager staffs.

This is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

Excellent hotel with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, and the lobby is huge. They even helped me with my luggage all the way to the main entrance, which was a great help!

I recently stayed at the ibis Strasbourg Centre Historique and had a brilliant experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring the beautiful historic center of Strasbourg. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional staff, particularly Elham. Their service was top-notch—incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive to every detail. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made my trip so much better. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!
