Unknown 2/5 just now on Google 1)Only been here 1 day and already hate it here. Got stuck in the lift and had to call the emergency line who didn’t speak a word on English and got put on hold… finally had to pry the elevator doors open to get out otherwise who knows how long we would of been stuck in there for?!. My autistic daughter had a complete hyperventilating panic attack after only being stuck in that lift for 5 minutes and when we went to reception to complain all they could say was that the lifts in their buildings are owned and operated by a third party and so it’s not their fault smh. 2) The 3 bed 2 bathroom apartment we have been put in is horrendous, it’s on the 22nd floor and we’ve had to climb the stairs a lot already due to the faulty and dangerous lifts, a lot of the windows have been taped round the edges so you can’t get fresh air which is awful to deal with especially during nighttime when temperatures are still around 20-21 degrees, the sofas looked nice at first (probably cause of the coloured sheets covering the damage to them) but then when we removed the sheets we found the sofas looked like cats had been at them as their are chunks missing out of them, lots of stains on walls and ceilings, inside wardrobes etc, the bathrooms are not fitted right… the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms is too short for the bath space and so the water sprays everywhere when you shower also the large round shower head is broken on one side and so the water goes everywhere whenever you use it. In the other bathroom the small shower head holder is completely almost off and so can’t use that shower head at all anymore. 3) We’ve requested to be moved to the 10th floor so that my daughter doesn’t have to use the broken, outdated lifts but with all 6 of us ( 4 adults + 2 children) it could be a challenge as the only ones available on that floor are 2 bedroom with 1 bathroom which will be a struggle fitting everyone in so it’s likely we will have to use a sofa bed to have a adequate enough time here. Absolutely disgraceful, we paid nearly £7000 for this 10 day holiday and we're having to be downgraded from the 3 bed two bathroom apartment we paid for for now a smaller 2 bed 1 bathroom apartment just so we feel safe and comfortable staying here due to their poor management of those scary lifts that almost got us trapped. Never staying here again, they advertise it as this wonderful place but it’s anything but. Only positives are the views (at a higher level), food and drink buffet restaurant as well as the pools.

We had a great stay at magic tropical splash. It was our second year coming as we enjoyed it last year. The hotel is clean, large comfy beds, the pool is brilliant for kids and the food is tasty with lots of choice The only thing we’d improve is the entertainment. Last year there was a different act every night and this year it felt very samey with the same people doing variations on a theme each night. We felt rushed too as the mini disco had moved earlier to 7 so we had to squeeze dinner in at 730 to be back in time to get a seat for the show at 9

We used the hotel as one of the sister hotels included in our all inclusive plus with the magic park hotels. Was fantastic. Was busy, but we soon found sunbeds. The kids loved the water slides and the little ice-cream truck. Food and snacks were fabulous. Chocolate fountain for the kids and slushes available. Nice and clean. And helpful staff.

We arrived quite late on the evening of 22nd May. The man on reception was not very helpful, gave us wristbands to put on ourselves and checked us in. Up we went to floor 17 in one of the tiny lifts. The rooms are extremely dated but ours was relatively clean. We just wanted a shower and bed after a long day. The shower sprayed water literally all over the bathroom, water was leaking from every joint and hitting the walls and your face at high pressure. We reported it but nothing happened! The next morning we attempted to get drinks but the rude girl serving in the bar just kept saying "reception" we had no idea why we couldn't get a drink until another guest explained so I had to wait 10 mins for a lift, go up 17 floors to get 2 euros and then queue behind a coach full of new arrivals to buy two cards to gets cups at the bar!! You have to queue for sunbeds on a morning and then everyone runs to get a bed. We were told if we put the towels on the beds and then went in for breakfast, our towels would be removed so we had to eat breakfast separately! I could understand this rule if I was going out for the day but 20 mins for breakfast?? Our family arrived a few days later so we used the adult only area one day but there are no brollys in this area so about 4pm we sat in a cabana to shelter. Within minutes we were told to either pay 30 euros or get out of it! We thought the food was OK but on my last day I came down with D&V and had to travel home feeling very poorly. My husband came down with it the night we arrived home and was ill for 3 days. The indoor furniture is so old and people sit on it in wet costumes during the day so the cushions are all still damp on a night so there is no where to sit and have a quiet drink. When our family arrived they had paid for a platinum room and assumed this would mean they had a lower floor but no, they were on floor 20! If they wanted a lower floor they would have to pay almost 200 euros to move! Overall, there are much nicer hotels to stay in and we spent quite a lot of time out of the hotel, going to the old town and into Finestrat which has some nice restaurants and bars.

I could really say a lot of things about this hotel but the main thing is it’s a dangerous place to stay! On the first night we was woken by a really bright light which was the electrics sparking a long with a massive bang a noise I’ve never heard before and being sprayed with extremely powerful water while we was all in bed sleeping, luckily the water was cold or this would of been a completely different story! The boiler fell off the wall and the pipes burst! We are completely traumatised, our children were screaming completely wet through and freezing the noise from the burst pipe was so loud we were terrified. It was pitch black. The room was completely ruined in ankle deep water. We got moved to a different room obviously but didn’t sleep a wink upon checking the boiler in that room I noticed it was leaning forward so couldn’t rest then it took a whole day on day 2 to find us a room, we was taken up to see if we liked it and AGAIN upon checking the boiler it was leaning forward! We refused to stay any longer, the hotel finally moved us to a different hotel at 5:30pm!! Nearly 24 hours after the incident! Everytime I think about it my heart beats so fast, I’ve/we’ve never experienced anything like that before and never want to again. The thought of our children being terrified like that again makes me so upset. We will NEVER return to that hotel again, avoid at all costs.

I spend the best holiday with my family this week at Magic Tropical Splash hotel. The food was great and varied every day. Pool is massive and a lovely place for all ages. My children have really enjoyed the slides and the games in the pool, also the shows. Everything was very clean, all the cleaning staff were nice, especially Viorica who was friendly, kind and helped us a lot to solve our issue. Thank you so much!

We are just back from 5 nights at tropical splash and overall we had a good time, the hotel had a great location, it was a 5 min walk to the beach and had a few shops near by. The hotel itself was great, it was a little dated and my hotel bed broke the first night but the staff were so apologetic and could not have helped enough. The food was delicious and had so many options sadly at no fault to the hotel but due to unhygienic guests we all have came down with covid, we encountered children putting their hands in the chocolate fountain, we heard people complaining to the staff but there is nothing else they can do, it was very clean and well maintained. The lifts were a little hit or miss, they worked most of the time but sometimes they just would not move and sounded as if they were about to break. The poolside entertainment was great, the bar staff were so friendly and could not fault them at all. We ate in the hotel the whole time, kids loved the pool and entertainment. Would definitely recommend.

Just spent 7 days at magic tropical splash, with my partner and nearly 3 year old. Hotel is very dated and could do with a good renovation. Room was exactly like photos and no issues with the room at all but the rest of the hotel was quite old and lots of things need fixing. We stayed in block 3 and there were 4 lifts, two of them were quite scary to be in as sounded like they would break down any minute. The pools were as pictured and lots of sunbeds, but the water was very cold - the breeze travelling through the buildings surrounding us didn’t help but I suppose the hotel can’t help that - just a warning as my little one found it hard to enjoy the pool as was too cold (maybe we went too early in the year) The soft play and games room were very damaged - the netting on the softplay was hanging off in parts and the part to climb up was completely broken so was nearly unuseable, the games room needs a complete renovation as there were broken tiles and flooring. The food was good, great selection for breakfast and dinner and a snack bar that was open all day, although it was the same food in the snack bar every day so no complaints about the food as there was something for everyone. The hotel staff although not rude they were very unhelpful at times and seemed like they all wanted to be elsewhere. The Jet2 staff were more than helpful though The entertainment was a bit repetitive and on very late - didn’t start til 9pm so was very late for children. Also as soon as the sun went down it was very breezy so a jacket or some warmer clothes was a must (again maybe too early in the year) the music went on quite late too, on average it didn’t stop until 11.30pm so our room was quite noisy at times as we were overlooking pool/entertainment area Overall the holiday was fine, feel a bit let down by the hotel and staff but had an ok week. Won’t be staying there again though.
