"We found the Berrigan motel an excellent place to break a long journey. The motel is on an ultra-quiet side-street and overlooks the golf course. Our room was very spacious with comfy king-size bed. It was well equipped with separate kitchen sink (to bathroom basin) as well as crockery, cutlery, toaster, microwave oven, wine glasses etc etc . Lighting within unit was also good. Hot water excellent"

"My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this fine establishment and really enjoyed our stay. If you are after simple but very comfortable accommodation, this will fulfil your needs. The accommodation's tariff is very affordable and is of a classic 1960s motel style. The motel rooms are situated behind the far more historical pub, constructed, I would guess, in the late 1800s. The pub also provides excellent meals. We ate there on a Saturday night and there was a terrific female solo who seemed to know a few hundred songs. Her performance was loved by the locals which provided a great atmosphere. Service was accompanied by a very genuine smile and we were looked after by a lovely young bloke named Cam."

"We have stayed at the Finley Palm over several years and the rooms have been progressively upgraded. The room was very clean and the noise levels are much lower than you would expect having regard to the Newell Highway address. Liz was very helpful and we really appreciated her making a dinner booking at the Country Club Hotel and asking for the chef to wait for us when we arrived at 8 pm."

"Perfect spot for a few days. Unit was spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed including breakfast essentials for the 3 days. Easy to get in to Cobram. Very quiet location and had six friendly kangaroos on the grass this morning. Highly recommended. "

"4 of us stayed in adjoining rooms. The place is clean and spacious and well ventilated, bright with ample windows. There were 4 beds there ! The beddings are fresh and bed is so comfortable. The kitchenette is complete with utensils. We enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table for 4. Outside the room, there’s a nice bench for you to sit and relax too. We will be back if we visit the area again !"

"The proprietress is very good and is a Hong Konger. When we heard that we spoke Chinese, we were particularly enthusiastic. In Chinese, we were introduced to us: there is an airport for the US military in World War II. It is now a glider training ground. There is an aircraft museum. Let us go and see it. Maybe you can see it at night by the Murray River, a koala. The room is also large and clean. I wanted to live in Ichuka, but on the weekend, there was no room. The result gave us a big surprise."

"- best holiday park me and my family have been to - our pool cabin was so large and clearly very modern - pool was great - lakeside location can’t be beat - friendly reception staff - including the canine team of Bruce and Hugh! - my rating is four stars not five primarily because of poor cabin allocation - me and my daughter were in the duplex cabin, next to a patron who came late and left early and was a loud cougher. Made sleep difficult. Also, if there were some plastic tubs for food leftovers available in the cabin equipment list, that would be good for people who cook food rather than go out for meals. And, this is everywhere by the way, hooks in the bathroom!!!!"

"A great location that is within walking distance to the town centre and good cafes and pubs. Can be a little noisy because of traffic but a good clean and comfortable room."
