YHA Cambridge ★★★★
"Great place to stay , loved it"
Ibis Cambridge Central Station ★★★
A welcoming city stay featuring a lively lounge with live music, free luggage storage, and a convenient location just steps from Cambridge Station and near the University of Cambridge.
Hyatt Centric Cambridge ★★★★
"The TV was on when we entered the room, so we didn't realize the power button on the remote was broken, and the TV itself had no buttons. We ended up staring at a glowing TV at 2 AM and had no choice but to call the front desk. The front desk staff's attitude wasn't great, and they didn't even apologize. The air conditioning in the entire building was broken, and the front desk chose not to inform us in advance, even acting self-righteous when we called. There were wasps in the room before we opened the window. We couldn't open the gym door with our room key and had to ask the front desk for access. Overall, I'd say you'd probably have a better stay asking on Xiaohongshu if you could rent a student dorm at the nearby Girton College."
Novotel Cambridge North ★★★★
"Very nice hotel with great location. Less than 100 yards from the cambridge north railway station. The staff are friendly and helpful."
Travelodge Cambridge Orchard Park ★★★
"Absolutely lovely evening meal and fantastic service from jasmine our waiter always had a lovely smile and great personality all evening and the stay was brilliant thanks again we will be back"
Ramada by Wyndham Cambridge ★★★
"Great. Breakfast was great too. Lovely to have all the other amenities around. Very happy."
Wilde Cambridge City Centre ★★★★
"The room in this B&B is spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Although breakfast isn't provided, it's the most spacious room we've had on our trip so far."
Christ's College Cambridge ★★★
"The hotel is located in Christ's College, Cambridge University. It is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The service and facilities are also good. It is worth recommending when visiting Cambridge University."

Graduate by Hilton Cambridge
"Excellent all things in this hotel. I have lunch set at Garden restaurant that the portion of food is quite large with reasonable prices. All food and desserts is taste good."
The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton
"The hotel's location and cleanliness are both excellent; it's a very nice modern hotel. Getting to the center of Cambridge University from the hotel, walking through meadows and along the river, is incredibly picturesque. Parking is also very convenient."
Premier Inn Cambridge East (Newmarket Road)
"Overall, this hotel offers good value for money. As a common chain hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is decent. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center, which is acceptable."

"The room was very nice. Check-in at the front desk was quick. The location of the hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was very rich. I forgot to take pictures. In short, it is a hotel worth recommending."
Clayton Hotel Cambridge
"The environment here is superb. It's very close to the train station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy. The front desk staff member was also very helpful and nice. I'll definitely book here again next time."
Hotel du Vin & Bistro Cambridge
"Made welcome by Pati (?) on reception from check in and service staff in the restaurant also very attentive. The hotel is well located just a few minutes walk from centre square by Kings College but not in midst of crowds. Hotel design is elegant, spacious room, quality amenities and with distinctive bar areas and library and external sun terrace, as well as the good restaurant. Would visit again and recommend."
Holiday Inn CAMBRIDGE by IHG
"Everything was great. Thank you very much"
The Varsity Hotel & Spa
"The bed is very high, and the mattress is sunken into the wooden bed frame, making it very easy to bump into each other when getting in and out of bed. The window is difficult to close and doesn't close properly; it was even blown open by the strong wind at night. Breakfast ends at 10 a.m. on weekends."
University Arms Hotel, Autograph Collection
"The hotel is very beautiful. The room is quite big. There is a 24-hour fitness center. The breakfast is quite varied."
Charles Hope Cambridge
"This was by far the worst stay we have ever had in Cambridge. The entire experience felt cold, unfinished and purely profit-driven, with almost no attention paid to guest comfort or basic hospitality. First of all, guests are forced to upload ID documents before check-in. Refusing is not really an option, because you would effectively lose the booking and payment. After uploading ID, we were then asked to pay a £100 deposit, despite the website clearly stating £50. Only after completing all of this do they finally release the check-in details through an extremely long and confusing email. We were told via WhatsApp that parking was available for £15. After payment, nobody replied anymore — no parking bay number, no instructions, nothing. The underground car park had no signal, no proper directions, and no signage showing which exit corresponded to which building. We spent around 10 minutes wandering around the garage trying to find the correct entrance. The building itself is equally confusing. There are almost no visible room indicators at the main entrance, and eventually we found the apartment number hidden away in a very obscure corner. The main entrance door on the ground floor was also broken and could simply be pushed open by anyone. Inside the apartment, the layout was bizarre and uncomfortable. There is a very long corridor lined with doors, and you genuinely feel like you are exploring a maze, opening random doors to work out where things are. There is nowhere practical to place luggage, coats or shoes when entering the apartment. The details were shockingly neglected: - the clock was still set to winter time - there was leftover water and heavy limescale inside the kettle - the dishwashing sponge was torn apart and stuck to the bin - only three English Breakfast tea bags were provided, while another random tea had six or seven - almost every mug appeared dirty and needed rewashing before use - there was hair in the bathtub - shampoo and body wash bottles were empty - the lotion bottle contained some unidentified liquid - towels were placed far away in a bedroom instead of near the bathroom Even the balcony was completely empty — not a single chair or table. The whole place feels like a newly handed-over property rushed into operation as quickly as possible to generate income, without anyone caring whether guests actually feel comfortable staying there. The surrounding area makes things even worse. Large undeveloped empty plots and unfinished surroundings make the entire environment feel bleak and incomplete. Cambridge hotels and serviced apartments usually have a certain warmth and comfort to them. This place had none of that. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being placed inside a cold, unfinished showroom apartment with no soul and no hospitality."
The Black Bull Inn
"What a fantastic pub. I went for Sunday lunch with family and it was a definite 5/5. Super friendly and attentive staff. The roast itself was a feast and all cooked to perfection. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great pub in the area. Thanks for a great experience."
Thorn House B&B
"This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice."
Dolphin Hotel St Ives
"Great location with lovely view of the river, the room was spacious and clean with a balcony over looking the fields. The restaurant didn’t appear to be open and we were the only ones in the bar. All the staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely return when the bar renovations are complete. Had a great nights sleep as the area is so quiet."
