L'Orologio Bed & Breakfast
9.3 (12 reviews)

L'Orologio Bed & Breakfast ★★★★

📍 Piazza Orologio, 20, Capaccio Paestum

"We were in the "clock tower" for the second time - and will come back. The price/performance ratio is convinced, breakfast is OK. (Italy keeps) the holder is friendly, the small place is just nice. There are at least 2 restaurants in foot distance where you can really eat well."

Hotel Cerere
8.6 (69 reviews)

Hotel Cerere ★★★★

📍 Via Laura Mare, 15, Capaccio Paestum

"We stayed at this hotel on a whim because our stay was not quite to our expectations. The manager was very friendly and made an effort to find a room despite being fully booked. Luckily, we got one. They only had one room left. The room was small but very nice and clean. It came with breakfast which was delicious and access to the beach club which was also nice. I want to thank the manager for being so kind and making a real effort to find us a room, showing us around, and just going above and beyond in general. We’ll be back!"

Borgo La Pietraia
9.5 (29 reviews)

Borgo La Pietraia ★★★★

📍 Strada Provinciale 13, Capaccio Paestum

"Borgo la Pietraia offers an exceptional vantage point for experiencing the region. During our May visit, the climate was agreeable, though I anticipate that the elevated position of the property would be even more appreciated during the summer months. The estate features expansive, meticulously maintained gardens and a swimming pool, both offering panoramic views of the valley. Our deluxe accommodation was remarkably spacious and elegantly appointed, complete with a charming, albeit compact, terrace that provided sea views. The restaurant terrace also afforded stunning vistas of both the sea and the valley. The bathroom facilities were generously proportioned. The location itself was notably tranquil. Breakfast service was comprehensive and satisfying, with the option to order custom egg preparations such as omelets. We also availed ourselves of the dinner service, which presented a gourmet culinary experience prioritizing the quality of dishes. The pasta dishes we sampled were particularly noteworthy. Given the excellent value, we wholeheartedly endorse this establishment."

Hotel le Palme

Hotel le Palme ★★★★

📍 Via Poseidonia, 123, Capaccio Paestum

"We were in this hotel to spend a weekend near the sea to relax, we were very surprised about kindness and care in all aspects, room was very clean and well organized, dinners and breakfasts delicious and various every day. Beach is very closed and easy to reach, the service is very helpful and fast (food is tasty)."

Hotel Ariston Hotels in Capaccio Paestum

"First of all the location is not good but you know that before you go there. As for the facilities the rooms were big and clean and ours was renovated. The breakfast was not good for Italian cuisine while the restaurant to have a meal there was nothing special. They should pay attention to the restaurant because in that area there are not many options nearby."

B&B da Francesco

"Vote 10 confirmed by the holder Francesco, sympathetic, available and always ready to offer a coffee and welcome you in the morning with a very good breakfast, made with products made at home mostly and excellent quality. Recently renovated rooms, bathrooms, breakfast rooms... all new. Great to relax in Cilento and visit the beaches in the surroundings, temples and bourgs such as Agropolis or Castellabate. Trust Francesco, he is keeping us in his business and doing everything to make you feel comfortable."

"we stayed here with a Tour Group for one night while visiting the three Greek Temples in Paestum. My stay was delightful, the Hotel is clean, including the room. I was in room 308 - see photos - very comfortable, with a balcony and a view of the Mediterranean Sea. I slept well in my King-Size Bed. The following morning, we had Breakfast here. A very large selection of Breakfast items. The Hotel also has a very beautiful sand beach. I recommend staying here. The staff is very friendly."

Casale Giancesare Villa Agricola Hotels in Capaccio Paestum

Casale Giancesare Villa Agricola

"Everything at the villa was absolutely wonderful. From the staff, to the property, and the food, we had an absolute dream of a wedding here. We brought our closest friends and family and had the quaintest wedding in the back yard with a breathtaking view. Federica was so communicative and was very helpful during the whole process of planning a wedding there from abroad. She provided us with furniture, spaces, and multiple menus and options and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better team that managed everything on our day beautifully. Federica was also so helpful with any tips or tricks traveling abroad and helping with restaurant reservations to train tickets and taxis. We loved our stay, our wedding was perfect, and we would absolutely visit again. If you’re needing a place for a vacation, wedding, or event you should absolutely choose them!"

Hotel Cerere ★★★★
"I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I felt incredibly compelled to leave one for Hotel Cerere. We booked a package holiday with an airline and once we arrived, we were greeted by hotel staff who had friendly smiles. One lady checked us in and requested I send my hotel voucher across, absolutely no issue. She then showed us to our room and gave us a wifi code. The wifi was shocking, but being on holiday we didn’t care too much for it. We tried to turn the air-con on and eventually figured it out (all doors/windows have to be closed, it says this in the manual left in the room) but the air-con didn’t actually cool the room down, just the area by the door and it still only blew air out at 24°C, even though we changed it to 20°C as that’s the lowest it said it would go. When a 4-star hotel promises air-con, you’d hope it would work. We went to the pool outside the main hotel which was nice and came up to just below my shoulders (I’m 5ft 9inches). The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast, the waiting staff were nice and there was a good selection of pastries, cheese, bread and an omelette station (this is the same everyday). The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, and although there is a shuttle we weren’t informed of times or how to use this service. We explored the other pool which is near the residence, and we definitely preferred this one, completely down to personal preference, but it was deeper (my 6ft3 partner couldn’t touch the bottom) and we could properly swim in this pool, it also had a diving board. Our room also got cleaned everyday by the cleaning staff who were absolutely lovely, I cannot fault them. This is unfortunately where the positives end. The communication from the front desk staff was not great, the food you could order from the pool bar was not good, and we felt judged every time we walked through the lobby like we didn’t belong there. When it came to checking out, we got to the front desk expecting to pay for the drinks from the mini-fridge and the tourist tax, however we got told to pay nearly €1600. As said previously, we had booked a package holiday and had already paid for the room through our holiday team. The front desk staff didn’t seem to understand this even though I had sent them the voucher that they had asked for! Eventually another staff member got called in to deal with the situation and it was eventually sorted but it was not how we wanted to end our holiday."

Borgo La Pietraia ★★★★
"I cannot say enough about this place. The rooms are huge, the views are spectacular, but the people are what make this place. You are truly family when you stay here. It started months in advance when I first booked. I reached out to inquire about things to do in the area. For the next few months Arianna, Chiara, Rafaella were lifesavers. They helped me plan multiple activities and answered all my questions. I was already impressed before we arrived at how attentive they had been, but I was blow away at our stay. All the rooms are suites with beautiful views. The food at the hotel is absolutely some of the best we ate in all our time in Italy. The food is so fresh and you feel like they are cooking for their family, I know it sounds cliché but you can taste the love they have for food. The staff in the restaurant are so patient and helpful. The staff set up tours for us and were available on WhatsApp at any time we needed. The breakfast was a lovely spread every day and included in the stay. There were 2 days that we had to be gone early before breakfast for day trips we had booked and they made us breakfast TO GO!!!! And not only did they make us breakfast to go but when we opened the bags there were snacks and drinks and food we could have for lunch. I mean they just go above and beyond at every chance. I would have mover in if I could have. I have never enjoyed a hotel as much as I did here. Highly recommend."

"If i could give 2.5 stars, I would. Wifi doesn’t work and keeps kicking you off of it, the Wifi is generally very bad. There are strange rules like having to wear a swimming cap in the pool which in my opinion ruins the swimming experience. There are also assigned tables and beach beds, this isn’t bad but just kind of unnecessary. Lastly there is this animation team whose job is to entertain the kids. To say the least they don’t entertain kids and disturb the peace on the beach with insanely loud music. On the other hand the restaurant is great, it has very nice staff and amazing food with a menu that varies each day. I feel like the hotel has allot of potential which they ruined by making weird and unnecessary rules same with terrible Wifi and an annoying animation team."

Mec Paestum Hotel ★★★★★
"When we arrived in the room (very small and located at the end of the 1st floor, with a view of the roof, shower inside the bedroom and WC at the entrance) we found it full of ants and insects, both alive and dead) we asked for explanations given that the staff were knowledgeable and had sprinkled the room and toilet with powder to kill the ants. Answer: At the moment we do not have other rooms available for a change and they offer us a change of hotel about a kilometer away PAESTUM INN BEACH RESORTE 4 stars instead of 5 stars of the MEC PAESTUM or alternatively they would have given us something back. In the end we accepted, even though the location was outside the town and a type suitable for the sea. Obviously it wasn't what I wanted and less than what I requested and paid for. No refunds from the property. Definitely avoid next time."

Hotel Villa Rita ★★★
"Villa Rita is set in the most beautiful area of Paestum, in 2 acres of well maintained grounds only a stones throw from the Ancient ruins. It has a fabulous outdoor pool with plenty of recliners, tables & chairs & shaded areas for eating outside. The rooms are very well appointed, ours had a balcony overlooking the grounds & pool. Inside is glorious; country house style, and has a great restaurant serving a value 4 course evening meal for 22 euro & a quaint bar well stocked with local wines. The staff are all friendly & nothing was too much trouble to Zara, she was most helpful. We look forward to returning next year."
