"Originally booked the Hotel to attend a winery concert but it was cancelled, so we decided to still do the 2 nights and explore the area. It wasn't overly expensive, but the twins/double were pretty small, so space was at a premium and it was shared facilities. Sleep quality was good with little noise from the pub. But the common kitchen & the bathrooms we used weren't attended during our stay which was disappointing as used towels stayed on the floor plus the kitchen garbage bin was overflowing? The place was not very busy, so no real reason that it was left as it was. All in all, it was a good stay, and you get what you pay for and it's a great location to stay for sure if visiting the Hunter Valley!"

"My husband and I took my Mom there for a midweek break and had a lovely time. The cottages really quite well spaced apart giving you ample privacy and they are well appointed. When we arrived the cottage was lovely and clean, with a basket with breakfast provisions on the table. We stayed in the cottage with the outdoor spa, and there’s a wood burner with plenty of wood provided. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating and the location is great for touring around. My only criticism is that the cottage gets quite cold overnight on winter nights, so consider bringing slippers"
