"It's quite a quick drive from the Tongluo interchange on the highway, just straight down one road, and it's also very close to Houli, Taichung. Although the hotel room facilities show their age, the overall cleanliness is excellent. The bathroom lighting is a bit dim, and the room door rattles and makes noise when it's windy. The breakfast is good, and the hotel staff are very friendly. There are plenty of parking spaces on the road in front of the hotel, but you can't park there on Fridays due to the night market. Overall, I would still choose to stay here next time I visit Miaoli!"

"We arrived late at the resort, check-in was fast and smooth and the moment we enter the room we wished that we had more time at the resort. The resort had 3 areas for soaking in 温泉。Then open air( with swimming costumes) at a separate building just right of the main building- you can see it in the pictures. There’s also a naked spa ( separated by guys/women) at level 8. I much prefer the in room 温泉。 the soaking tubs were really clean and the toilets are huge. Breakfast was a good mixture of option. The hotel also give a piece of local brown sugar cake for the rooms as a door/welcome gift for the guest. If you do have extra time, do not miss the outdoor area at level 6. Prefect for hanging out at night with some beer accompanied with view!"

"1. The location is great. The hotel is close to the recreation center, so you don’t have to go outdoors during the entire trip. It is the best alternative on rainy days. 2. Diverse food options. In addition to the mid-priced food court and high-priced chain restaurants, there are also local delicacies in the surrounding area, including *********, Southeast Asian, Japanese, Korean, European and American food, and other exotic choices, so there are no restrictions on dining. 3. The toilet door makes a loud noise when closing. If this can be improved, it will improve the quality of guests’ toileting and sleeping at night!"

"The exterior and its proximity to the places we visited were quite good! The front desk service was also excellent, and they recommended dining options. The complimentary breakfast was simple yet substantial. However, the bathroom facilities in the room were a bit old, especially the water damage on the walls. Nevertheless, it's a friendly hotel for families with children 😊"

"The room is large and clean. It's accessible from the alley next to the gas station. It feels like a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The air is very good early in the morning. You can walk to the Strawberry Cultural Center and convenience stores. It is recommended to walk to the Strawberry Cultural Center because there are insufficient parking spaces."

"Visited in April... The local guesthouse had a very clean and spacious room. The guesthouse entrance was a bit narrow, so drivers need to be very careful with the surrounding traffic. The first room upon entering felt like the reception, so I stopped to inquire. The staff seemed quite relaxed in their work. I had booked the room in advance via an app, specifically choosing this place because it was advertised as pet-friendly. I also called ahead to confirm and made a note in my reservation. However, upon arrival at the front desk, I still had to proactively inform them that I had a pet with me, as they charge a deposit and a pet fee (the deposit is refundable upon check-out). Parking was a free-for-all; cars were parked haphazardly in front of any building where a space was available. It wasn't allocated to your specific room/building. I believe this needs improvement 😮💨. I was staying in one building, but my car ended up parked three or four buildings away, which was really inconvenient for loading and unloading. Then there was breakfast the next day. Online reviews made it sound good, but in reality, it was a tiny space with only a few limited dishes. The coffee and soy milk were incredibly sweet, to the point of being undrinkable. I was very disappointed. What upset me the most was that despite being advertised as a pet-friendly guesthouse, they wouldn't allow my dog into the dining area for breakfast. We were flat-out denied entry. When I tried to discuss it, they claimed it was to avoid disturbing other guests. However, there were only two other guests in the dining room, seated further inside. I suggested we could sit at the table closest to the entrance, in the corner – just a small spot for him to be. But they firmly refused, and I was absolutely furious. If they had informed us of this rule either beforehand or during check-in, I would have understood and we could have taken turns eating breakfast. But we had all come down for breakfast without having eaten yet, and they expected us to just leave our dog outside?! I was utterly enraged. I really hope the guesthouse can clearly state that pets are not allowed in the dining area, or at least specify conditions (e.g., pets must be in a stroller or carrier) for entry. This would help other pet owners avoid such an unpleasant surprise. Ultimately, it was a genuinely clean and spacious accommodation, but the staff's attitude left a very sour taste in my mouth."
