Front desk is friendly. Room has a strong musty smell which cannot be removed. Bed is soft and pillow is fine. Location is good though, just opposite Chiayi TRA station.

The hotel much better than the impression of the down stairs entrance gave us. The reception area was nice, our room was spaciou and comfortable. The location was excellent as we arrived by rail to go to Alishan. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location for catching a train to Alishan. It is located just opposite the train station. Can cross underpass or traffic light.

Yoyo sits conveniently next to Chiayi station. The rooms are clean and the furnishings are proper. They provide breakfast every morning. If you're looking to visit Alishan, this is a fantastic starting point. Be warned though, everything on Alishan requires payment. The lodgings are incredibly expensive. Not sure why anyone would visit Alishan for other than the cold mountain air.

Comfortable size room for the family. Baby friendly. Baby cot and bath tub available. Good location. Near chiayi station. The toilet is spacious enough for us to bathe baby.

Breakfast was decent. While the facilities are a bit dated overall, the location is incredibly convenient. It's highly recommended if you're planning an early morning trip to Alishan, and it's also easy to walk to nearby attractions.

All in all I would recommend this hotel - the room was tidy, spacious and the staff is very friendly. The mattress was rather hard. Breakfast is ok - it’s Asian style but they have toasts and eggs. Coffee was good!

Directly opposite to the Chiayi train station and bus hub to Alishan. If you don't want to stay at an Alishan hotel, consider staying in this hotel! The staffs were very helpful and available 24/7. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, but if you want a quick breakfast before going for a trip it is a good choice. Toilets are clean, but without a bidet. And you are not allowed to flush with toilet paper.

The room was nice and spacious. The view as also lovely. Unfortunately very thin walls, so could not sleep well because of neighbours noises (laughing and loud talking).

Great location — super easy to get around from here. Breakfast was pretty standard, braised pork is nice. The place was quite clean too, which was nice. Overall, a comfy and convenient stay!

Location is SUPER B. It's just across the MRT station and bus stop. We took the local MRT from Taipei to Chiayi instead of the High Speed Train. If you wanted to go to Alishan is super easy to DIY since the bus stop is just across the hotel. And from Alishan the bus will drop you 1min away from the hotel. Room is spacious enough and clean. There is a bathtub, perfect to finish the tiring day. Wenhua night market is only 10-13minutes walk. There is a resto near the hotel that serves cheap and good local food. It's just in the corner of hotel. I included it in picture. Staff are also nice and helpful.
