Chongqing Yuzhong District Hotels

The location of the hotel is excellent — right beside Luohan Temple and within walking distance to the heart of Chongqing city. The building itself houses several hotels on different floors as well as offices, so it has that typical Chongqing mixed-use high-rise setup. Overall, our stay was good. The service, staff, and cleanliness were all solid. However, I wouldn’t recommend the Cave Room that I booked. It was much smaller than expected, the lighting was dim, and the textured wall finishes made it easy to accidentally graze yourself. For two people with normal-sized check-in luggage, the space felt tight and not very practical for moving around comfortably. I did take a peek at their standard rooms, and those looked much better — brighter, more spacious, and more functional. So I would stay at this same hotel again, but definitely choose the normal room category next time instead of the Cave Room.

Stayed two nights at this hote. The hotel reception will email and provide some useful tips how to go to their hotel by metro, or didi. They also will provide some useful tips for hunting of foods around the hotel. I did follow their tips for breakfast and hot pot which were really delicious and affordable price esp the hotpot! Truly recommended. The nearest metro is Jiaovhangkou in Line 2 at exit 9. The metro has escalator therefore it is very convenient to travel with bags. It only takes around 5-8mins to reach the hotel. The hotel is sharing with the other office. You have to take the lift to level 46 where the reception is located. The hotel does not have restaurant therefore no breakfast is provided. The view from the hotel is truly beautiful especially at night. The room has a very large screen replacing the normal TV. The room is equipped with projector for viewing the TV program. At the reception areas, they provided with luggage scale to weight your luggage before boarding a flight. There are tow things I personally no feeling happy with. 1) We require a non smoking room at the non smoking floor but we were shocked to see few ladies sitting at the reception area openly smoking. Even though we were given a non smoking room but the smokes from the reception area could have leaked into our room! The hotel should be more stricter to require the smokers to smoke only at designated smoking areas or limited to the smoking floor! The second thing was the bathroom door is a sliding door which is relatively heavy and noisy when slide in and out. Besides the toilet bowl section was easily filled up with water pool if the shower curtain did not use properly and the water pool will be stagnated there as there was no water drainage at the toilet bowl area. Overall, we still have a pleasant stay at this hotel as the location is super close to the jiangfangbei and walkable to Hongya Dong. Recommended.

Our stay at the hotel was a really great experience. The spectacular views, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff made us really enjoy ourselves. The hotel is right next to the most vibrant locations in the city and is easy to reach. As english speakers we had no issue communicating with the staff which was friendly and kind. The room had everything we needed and it was hard leaving the great views behind and moving on.

The best location in Chongquin. The apartment had everything we needed. Very specious and we loved having a washing machine in the room since we needed to do our laundry. Close to the shops and very central. We had restaurants very close by and many shopping options too.

Hotel located at a building shared with other hotels/businesses. Hotel is well renovated and the design looks very zen. Many instagrammable spots ard the hotel. Room wasn't prepared for 3 of us so we had to call for extra pillow and towel. Staff ask us to add them in wechat and we may send any request to them via wechat which is quite convenient. Service was fast. However we find the staffs not as professional in their service. They didn't had a smiling face when we check in. Also, when we ask basic questions like distance to the airport etc, and what time we should leave from the hotel, they wasn't able to answer on the spot and had to check for answer. Room is big and bright. We cannot find cups in the room. There are free flow coffee and tea provided on level 3. Hence no coffee and tea pack in the room provided. Photos taken at level 3 where u can sit around and enjoy coffee. Pls note that it is all indoor.

Great location right next to the food market on Bayi street and close to metros and key attractions. The staff is very kind and service minded but they only speak Chinese so be prepared to use a translator app. If you have WeChat, the staff use it to communicate with you regarding cleaning services and providing som basic information about the stay. The room with the bathtub had a great view and the bathtub felt clean, in addition a plastic cover is available in the room for extra hygiene. The only downside is that the refrigerator in the room is very poor quality and cannot be used to keep any food or drinks cold.

First of all the staff are wonderful they're willing to go out of their way to help you the young man in reception helped us to repair a broken suitcase he took us to a local shopping mall to find the right product the manager speaks perfectly good English she helped book a table at a local nightclub we had a wonderful time and I doubt that we would be able to book the table since we do not speak Chinese kudos to the staff including the ladies that clean your room they do a very good job they're very polite the room is clean and comfortable the beds are quite soft the view is nice they give you free snacks and tea everyday including two large bottles of water the shower is warm and strong the only problem we encountered was when the neighbor would smoke we could smell it in our toilet room that was disappointing everything else was five stars. There are lots of great restaurants and shops and bakeries nearby.

We visited Chongqing for a few days and stayed at Stone Hotel. The hotel shares a building with many other hotels, though Stone Hotel is much easier to access than some hotels my friends booked in the same building. It occupies levels 7 and 8 and doesn’t require changing lifts halfway (hotels in the higher levels do). We stayed in a Tatami Room which was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to open two suitcases. While there was a window, there wasn’t much of a view. Our room (and every second room in this hotel) requires going up some steps to your door. There are food options around the hotel and the hotel itself is within walking distance (15-20 minutes) or a short drive (10 minutes) to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Hongya Cave areas. Opposite the hotel is Raffles City, a large mall with international and local brands.

This hotel is very clean and new. The location is great. Only few minutes walk from 龍崖洞or 解放碑. The staffs are very friendly. Staff Ben given us a lot of help beyond his job. The detail of places to visit, prepared umbrella for coming rain during the visit. Also specifically thanks to the manager Helen Mo. For an elderly couple, she given us a lot of valuable advice. Such as good food for dinner , how to travel easier and best for elderly,. She made our entire stay much more enjoyable. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when we come back next time.
