Hotels in Nanbin Road/Danzishi, Chongqing

Our stay at the hotel was a really great experience. The spectacular views, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff made us really enjoy ourselves. The hotel is right next to the most vibrant locations in the city and is easy to reach. As english speakers we had no issue communicating with the staff which was friendly and kind. The room had everything we needed and it was hard leaving the great views behind and moving on.

Service-wise, it was great. The staff members were attentive and responded via WeChat rather quick (but of course, within reason, okay. For us as guests, for example, if you text them via WeChat at 2am in the morning, dont expect an immediate reply. Be reasonable). Even though I dont speak Mandarin, everyone did their best to communicate with me and very welcoming. Room is cleaned everyday. Location-wise, it is so close to Jiefangbei Monument, and there are lots of shopping and food places nearby. 100% recommended.

A trip will always have memorable points because of the people, food, and accommodation you come into contact with. This homestay hidden deep in the old district of Chongqing, with its exquisiteness, the caring of the housekeeper, and the intention of the design brand, made me feel deeply. It has been half a month since I came back to comment, and it is still the same. The acquaintance with the owner is like a reunion with an old friend, healing and relaxing. The elegant temperament in the conversation made me interested in the origin of this homestay; the interactive route-finding process with the housekeeper made me feel the kindness, warmth, simplicity and enthusiasm of the locals... The stay is comfortable, as shown in the picture, and it is ready to use out of the box; the taste of the breakfast coffee feels the charm and taste of the chef... The trip is short but I have gained a lot of happiness and surprises. Because I like it! So I recommend it to you.

It’s sufficient for a basic hotel. If you set your expectation correctly. The front desk was a hit and miss, dependent on who was on duty. Some were extremely nice and helpful. Some were just meh… I got the room without window because it was just a short stay and it mentioned that it was going to be a room with air purifier but I never saw any purifier machine in the room but I couldn’t be bothered because I was so tired during check-in and upon checking out, I saw the room nearby mine has a window but it smelt really like a chimney. Someone smoked in there and wasn’t sanitised after, so either way you can’t win -either get a room with no window or one with window but smells like cigarette smoke. If were to give it a rating I would say it will be somewhere in the middle. If the hotel really wants to, there is room for improvement but I wouldn’t say it’s a bad place, it’s starting to age quickly there was spots around the mug, stain on wall and floor and chair, stopper at the sink wasn’t working well - it is starting to have brown and yellow stains around the shower floor as well as on the toilet floor, little things but not major if you just need a place to rest and sleep, it does have everything that you need in the room, hope this helps! 

The hotel boasts an excellent location, practically right in front of Jiefangbei. Ba-yi Delicious Street downstairs offers a wide variety of food options, and it's also close to the metro station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The staff provides excellent service, and they even offer daily laundry service, which is incredibly thoughtful! The price is reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend booking this hotel when you visit Chongqing – it will definitely make your trip worthwhile!

A very nice affordable apartment hotel. We stayed in the 2 bed 1 bath unit. We stayed 3 nights. First, you will need to add their WeChat (which everyone needs in China). From then onwards, instructions / communications are clear although all in Chinese (not an issue since WeChat can auto translate). When you arrive, a contact person will pick you up from lobby (2nd floor) to bring you to the hotel lobby on the 4th floor. Highly commend the responsiveness of their communications via WeChat. They provide a lot of recommendations for food (breakfast, lunch, dinner and even coffee places). Always ready to help, even past midnight. One of the most personalised “concierge” experience with a lot of greetings. Washing machine was clean, which we used throughout our stay. Spacious and comfortable. Instead of tv, unit has a projector. Unit was cleaned every day (they would ask before they clean). Overall a very pleasant stay with highly attentive / personalised service. Would love to stay again!

The room was spotless and very clean. I particularly liked the design where the air conditioning power was separate from the room card. The front desk staff were very attentive, warm, and polite. They offer a wide variety of room types to suit different travel needs. A 24-hour convenience store is located right downstairs. Jiefangbei and Bayi Food Street are just about a 10-minute walk away, and Hongya Cave is also conveniently close. The light rail station is directly downstairs, making it incredibly convenient.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. The room was spotless, and the soft bedding ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were super friendly and even upgraded our room! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! Had a fantastic stay! The room offered expansive street views, and the facilities were new and worked perfectly. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious. It's conveniently close to major attractions, and the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended!

The room is a duplex, with a bathroom on each of its two levels. The separate bedroom and living room make it perfect for families. It's also equipped with a refrigerator, and all the facilities are modern. The spacious room design ensures a very comfortable stay. The hotel boasts an excellent location. Raffles City is directly opposite, and Metro Lines 1 and 6 are accessible from B2, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. You can easily reach attractions like Hongyadong, Qiansimen Bridge, Ciqikou, and Baigongguan by metro. Additionally, iconic Chongqing landmarks such as Jiefangbei, the Yangtze River Cableway, and the Grand Theatre are just a 10-minute walk away. The room itself was clean, tidy, and warmly decorated. The soft bedding guaranteed a very comfortable night's sleep. I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone; it's ideal for both family vacations and trips with friends. The overall stay experience was absolutely fantastic!

My overall experience was truly exceptional – I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit! The room was clean and comfortable, with incredibly soft and cozy bedding that made it impossible to get out of bed once I'd settled in. The staff were warm and attentive, incredibly patient and thorough whether I was checking in or asking for local recommendations. The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short walk to nearby restaurants and attractions. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, truly energizing me for the day ahead. In summary, this was a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it!
