Hotels in Guanyinqiao/ 9 Street, Chongqing

Stayed two nights at this hote. The hotel reception will email and provide some useful tips how to go to their hotel by metro, or didi. They also will provide some useful tips for hunting of foods around the hotel. I did follow their tips for breakfast and hot pot which were really delicious and affordable price esp the hotpot! Truly recommended. The nearest metro is Jiaovhangkou in Line 2 at exit 9. The metro has escalator therefore it is very convenient to travel with bags. It only takes around 5-8mins to reach the hotel. The hotel is sharing with the other office. You have to take the lift to level 46 where the reception is located. The hotel does not have restaurant therefore no breakfast is provided. The view from the hotel is truly beautiful especially at night. The room has a very large screen replacing the normal TV. The room is equipped with projector for viewing the TV program. At the reception areas, they provided with luggage scale to weight your luggage before boarding a flight. There are tow things I personally no feeling happy with. 1) We require a non smoking room at the non smoking floor but we were shocked to see few ladies sitting at the reception area openly smoking. Even though we were given a non smoking room but the smokes from the reception area could have leaked into our room! The hotel should be more stricter to require the smokers to smoke only at designated smoking areas or limited to the smoking floor! The second thing was the bathroom door is a sliding door which is relatively heavy and noisy when slide in and out. Besides the toilet bowl section was easily filled up with water pool if the shower curtain did not use properly and the water pool will be stagnated there as there was no water drainage at the toilet bowl area. Overall, we still have a pleasant stay at this hotel as the location is super close to the jiangfangbei and walkable to Hongya Dong. Recommended.

Hotel was in a great location in jiefangbei which was walkable to attractions like hongyadong and raffles city, and a short ride away to others. The rooms were clean and well kept, and housekeeping was available daily. The beds and pillows provided were one of the more comfy ones I’ve experienced, even comparing to big chain hotels. The receptionist (weixing 卫星) was really friendly and thoughtful, greeted us with a smile when we arrived at 3am, helped us with receiving packages, providing iced drinks and always available for a friendly chat. A real value for money and would recommend this time anyone visiting chongqing!

The pros is it's superb location with walking distance to metro station, Hongyadong, and Jiefangbei attractions. Their staff are very helpful and friendly and the room are generally clean and new. The cons is that it is located on the 9th to 12th floor of a building, where the other floors are occupied by other tenants. Therefore, taking the elevator may take a while during peak hours. There is also a flight of stairs you need to take before reaching the street level, which can be cumbersome when carrying heavy luggage. They also provide free usage of washer and dryer, but very limited number for all the guests.

Perfect location to see the drone show, we watched it from our room (river view fireworks room) and they have viewing platform and glass window around in reception area to watch from. Very close to everything. Top notch service, even though they speak very little english, you can connect with them on we chat to use the translation function and they will respond immediately. They also have a translation device in reception that you can use to speak with them.

Walling hotel is located strategically between Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. It is walking distance to these two points and also ChongQing Square. Many shops around there. It is also 10mins walk to the nearest metro station - Lingjiangmen (Line 2). The hotel is clean with only 1 lift. Sometimes may need to wait. The breakfast is serve at noodle restaurant attached to the hotel. The menu mostly is noodles. Overall the experience is great. Highly recommend.

The service provided by the staff was excellent, they were always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. The room had fantastic views, and the location was great, with many interesting places to visit nearby.

Very impressed with this hotel, as it’s quite new, everything is excellent. The bed is comfortable. Especially Gary, Parker n Lydia from front desk, exceptionally helpful. I observed they are consistently helpful to all others as well. The only issue is the air-conditioning which is centralised, too warm at night. They gv us a fan in end. Check in counter is on the 25th storey, a very great vantage point of Chongqing night scene.

It was our family’s first visit to Chongqing, and it turned out to be a perfect trip. We landed at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and took a taxi to our hotel. Unfortunately, the location on the map led us to the wrong place at first, but luckily, our taxi driver was extremely kind and helpful. He personally called the hotel’s front desk to confirm the exact address, and thanks to his help, we arrived and checked in smoothly. Upon arrival, we were assigned a personal assistant for our stay — and this service was truly amazing. Whenever we needed anything, we could simply send her a message, and she would respond quickly and help us in every possible way — from restaurant recommendations to travel guidance and local attractions. Our assistant, Ms. Zhang Zhixiu, was exceptionally professional, warm, and attentive. Beyond the wonderful service, the hotel itself was also excellent. It’s located in a very convenient area — easy to reach by metro or taxi, and many of Chongqing’s most popular attractions are within walking distance. The hotel lobby is on the 21st floor, and the 22nd floor offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Chongqing. You feel like you’re standing on the ground floor, but when you look down, you realize you’re actually on the 22nd floor — the scenery is breathtaking! As we were traveling with our family, especially our young daughter, we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly touches: the hotel provides unlimited ice cream, popcorn, and small snacks, which made the kids absolutely delighted. The family room also features a large projector for movie time, and in the evenings, they even offer a porridge service — perfect if you’ve had a heavy lunch and prefer something light while enjoying the river view of the Jialing River. The porridge options change daily, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, we truly loved our stay — it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely choose the same hotel again when we return to Chongqing. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be about the service consistency. While the personal assistant service is exceptional, there were a few times when she was unavailable, and when we approached the front desk for help, the staff simply asked us to contact our assistant instead of helping directly. I believe all staff members should maintain the same high service standard, even when the personal assistant is not available. Other than this minor point, everything else was absolutely perfect. Thank you for making our family trip so memorable!

Location is a plus. Convenient to visit many tourist sites, easy to board Didi. Staffs from reception are friendly and helpful; especially 月月 who kindly let us rest at the lounge area past their usual operation hours; they also help with transferring luggage for a room extension to another level while family went out for lunch. The cleaning staffs at level 41 and 44 are especially attentive too! We had a great stay and enjoy the views and nice snacks & drinks at the lounge throughout most part of the day. Will certainly recommend.

OMG! This hotel in Jiefangbei is absolutely legendary ✨! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was top-notch, and I have to highly recommend it to everyone!! As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I was immediately won over by the staff's incredible warmth ❤️! Not only did they handle check-in in a flash, but they also pulled out a super detailed, hand-drawn guide by Tingting 📝. It clearly marked where to get the best panoramic shots of Jiefangbei and which hotpot restaurants were packed with locals – everything was perfectly laid out. Stepping into the room was even more breathtaking! With its Instagrammable decor and a massive floor-to-ceiling window 🌆, I could just lounge on the cloud-like bed and take in the Jiefangbei night view. Every photo I snapped was instantly Instagram-perfect 📸! After a tiring day of exploring, a shower had me feeling completely refreshed and ready to go again 🛀! Even at check-out, the thoughtful details brought tears to my eyes 😭! The lovely staff member (Tingting!) proactively offered to store my luggage and even slipped me two packs of Chongqing 'xiaomahua' (fried dough twists) as a parting gift. The subway entrance is right downstairs 🚇, making it super convenient to get to Hongyadong and Shibati! Seriously, folks, if you're coming to Jiefangbei, you *must* check this place out! You won't regret it! 💃💃💖
