I have forgotten to comment. I spent New Year's Eve at Sister Cat's house. It was a very pleasant day. The environment of the homestay is very good. The boss and the proprietress Cat Sister are very caring people. They adopted cats and dogs, and every corner is carefully taken care of. On the birthday of the child on New Year's Eve, we made our own meal at the hotel. Sister Cat was very enthusiastic and helped Zhang Luo cookers, barbecue grills and so on. I also sent us northeast rice and recommended everyone to stay.

This is by far the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in. I must say, the natural surroundings are truly excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. You can also take a leisurely stroll in the mornings. The privacy here is exceptional; each guesthouse is enclosed by its own private courtyard, so you don't have to worry about other guests intruding. What's more, the location is absolutely superb. There are several parking lots conveniently located nearby, and both the light rail and bus stations are very close, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff are happy to recommend local hotpot restaurants, which are incredibly delicious and have a fantastic ambiance, perfect for taking stunning, Instagram-worthy photos. Additionally, there are many charming boutique shops nearby that are lovely to browse. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all my friends!

My dad and I stayed at this B&B for three nights whilst visiting Chongqing. It’s a very cute little establishment in a quiet, lovely neighbourhood with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and all the usual amenities are provided. We especially appreciated the helpful staff! The hotel breakfast is very good (the soy milk is made fresh every morning) and the location is super convenient. I think it’s better to stay in a peaceful, cozy place like this in a walkable neighbourhood than across the river in the city, where it’s very noisy and somewhat chaotic.

The hotel also features its own private collection/gallery, which is definitely worth exploring. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with an overall retro, luxurious, and grand aesthetic. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and if I'm not mistaken, the toiletries are Diptyque! The Chongqing noodles at breakfast were absolutely delicious! The peas were incredibly tender (I honestly thought they were even better than any I've tasted elsewhere!).

Lying in bed at night, I could hear the wind, the chirping of insects, and the occasional bird call. The hustle and bustle of the city was suddenly isolated beneath the mountain, leaving me alone in the quiet. The next morning, I woke up early, opened the curtains, and sunlight streamed through the leaves into the room, making everything sparkle. In the afternoon, the sky began to darken. Fine, dense raindrops pelted the large floor-to-ceiling window, obscuring the entire mountain view. Beyond the glass, the leaves, bathed in rain, became even greener, as if washed and translucent. Occasionally, tiny drops of water slid down the window sill. I sat by the window, coffee in hand, quietly watching the rain fall from the sky onto the leaves, then onto the mountainside. The pattering sound mingled with the twang of wind chimes, and I felt my heart calm. That window was truly beautiful. It was so large, almost like a mirror, capturing the mountain, the rain, and the fog. The room was lit with a warm yellow light. The dry aroma of wood filled the room, while the damp scent of grass and trees filled the air outside—the two aromas blended together perfectly. It's a strange feeling, like life has paused, time has slowed down, and you finally have time to take in the road below and the distant mountains. If you're looking for a moment of respite, I highly recommend staying here for a night.
