Outside looks goods, staff is very helpful and friendly. BUT room shows age, sleeper couch had several stains, curtain chain hook for window shade was hanging with the wall screw attached. Wall paper in shower was coming off with bubbles. Needs a refresh and update.

On previous stays, I had pretty good experiences. The last time I stayed - the door on my room had to be FORCED open, and I had to slam it to close. Not only inconvenient and annoying for me, but I’ll bet other guests in nearby rooms didn’t appreciate it. I reported it to the front desk, who said they’d take care of it. It was not resolved during my 3 night stay. Despite asking again. The sofa was stained (see photo.). The rest of the room appeared to be very clean, but the condition of the sofa lead me to believe that the rest of the room was probably not that clean. The waffles and coffee are ok for breakfast.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was really great. Our bed was comfortable. I see a note posted in the elevator that streaming was being installed this week. I'd say one of the best hotel experiences ever!

We like this brand style of hotels for the roominess and general quality. This was our 3rd stay here and even though it’s only Ben a few years in time, the hotel is in need of a good cleaning top,to bottom. Now it’s not to stay it dirty, for the most part it’s very clean. It’s more to say with the weather and all it’s a bit stuffy and a nice cleaning of the hall and room carpets would go a long way to Rwanda feeling a bit nicer

From now on we are ONLY staying at Home Suites by Hilton. Our room was pristine with everything you need for a very comfortable stay including a great bed. While all hotels have a breakfast, this hotel goes a step above. Food is appealing with plenty of choices including fresh fruit. Silverware & glass plates over plastic with attention to all details. Why pay the same for so much less? A great value.

Let me start by stating it took almost 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk after being beckoned by myself loudly. The room that we had chosen during checkin in the app had been reassigned prior to checkin and there were no king suites available on the first floor. I was sent to a suite on the second floor with my family very late at night and it was a Queen suite which we booked a king. I went back to the desk and was told the associate who changed my room earlier had also changed the code on my reservation to a queen suite. So we were finally placed in a king suite on the third floor. Upon going into the room it was not a great experience either. The room was so damp it was literally icky to even touch the bedding it, my kids were tired so we stayed in the room. I went to feed them and had to wash every plate and silverware because they were dirty with food stuck to them. I was so disappointed and disgusted. So the next morning I went to speak to the manager and he apologized and said he would get us into a room at least on the first floor and refund 50 dollars for my first night 7/28. I have yet to receive any reimbursement. We had to wait for the room, and when we finally got to it the light was broken under the microwave which hindered my kids from having their typical night light without me having to leave the bathroom light on. Also the dishes were filthy. So much so I just brought it to the manager the next morning and all he did was apologize. I would like follow up on this as our experience at a home 2 has never been this displeasing!

This is our 2nd visit to this property and we’ll make another choice on our next visit. What a difference a year makes. We chose our room ahead of time and pre-registered. After not receiving a digital jet message, we went to the property and was told - your room has been ready. Sorry you didn’t get a digital jet message. The room we were given was a different room and floor than we had chosen. The door didn’t shut properly, the double bolt didn’t work, rubber stripping was peeled away from the door seal, and there was a hole in the wall. The property felt dingy this year, staff was hard to find, and messaging went unanswered. Make another choice at one of the many hotels in the area.

All I wanted was a clean hotel to take my son and mom for the weekend while we visited friends. Room was damp, smelly and stained couches disgusted me. but the worst was 2 fire alarms between 4-9 am. No one knew what was going on, management was no where to be found. Fire department and police has to ask guests where to find the stairs. After the first alarm took one hour to resolve (they blamed kitchen, told us we could try run to our rooms,) again at 9 am blaring fire alarms in our room and on our floor. We couldn’t re enter our room for hours while they “waited for a professional” . They did apologize, but they didn’t comp the room, just took some money off the first night after I approached the desk reporting my rooms alarm was still blaring even after evacuation ended. . Breakfast area was dirty. It was a frustrating stay, and we didn’t have the energy to change hotels.
