The location was right in the city, close to City2surf, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and we also ate at the restaurant on site which was lovely. Can’t fault Rydges at all, staff were friendly, we’d definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel set right in the heart of downtown Sydney. We loved our stay here. The staff were very attentive to anything we needed and happy to help. The room was clean and very beatifully appointed with luxurious features. The buffet breakfast was amazing with delicious cold and hot food and fresh fruit and pastries and great coffee. We loved the heritage feeling of this hotel and how central it was to many of Sydney's landmarks and must see places! We highly recommend The Fullerton Hotel Sydney and would love to come back again.

We stayed there a total of 3 nights and we had to move rooms 3 times from level 11 to level 4 then back up to level 9 the first 2 rooms overnight flooded because it was raining heavy at times but mostly just showers but the carpet was soaked throughout both rooms, When I told reception they sent me to the room with towels to soak it up and assumed it would be ok I guess, But then the hotel manager knocked on our door asked to look at the water damage I didn't know why at that time but he had made the same discovery In a number of rooms in the hotel.
So he organised to have his maintinence man come and suck the water out with a wet vacuum we went out so they could do that we were gone for a couple hours and when we got back they had just finished and had industrial blowers drying it out more.I wasn't going to stay in that room and asked the manager to move us but he was reluctant but he did.No offer to help us move our stuff for the inconvenience but history repeated itself in the next room. So the final night we were downgraded alot the room was half the size of the one we originally booked the condition of the room was like it was quickly cleaned and made available for us in the last hour it was disgusting and very poor effort from the Manager and the staff.
The TVs in 2 of the 3 rooms wouldn't connect to the hotels promised super speed wifi on the website which wasn't very fast at all.
The phones fitted in the rooms don't work they're not even connected.
The safes in the rooms! one I had to put 6 X AA batteries in for it to turn on! only to say error over and over again and the other 2 don't work.
The Photos below are the standard of cleaning in this hotel and unfinished workmanship.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a subway station conveniently situated right across the street and numerous attractions nearby. The lobby is quite grand. However, the view from our room was unfortunately obstructed by trees, leading to poor visibility and diminishing the supposed advantage of a park-view room. Breakfast was lavish, featuring a self-service station for fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Overall, the service was decent. But we had a very frustrating experience: during morning check-out, an elderly person in our group accidentally left a public transport card tucked inside their room key. When we returned in the evening to look for it, we received no help whatsoever. Their staff proved inflexible and unhelpful, especially when confronted with an urgent issue.

The location is really central and convenient for shopping and access to the main attractions in Sydney. The food from the restaurant was excellent, and prices are reasonable.
The buffet breakfast was also good, but could be better with slightly more variation, especially since we stayed for 5 nights.
Our room was booked for 3 people, but we were only provided with two towels and no extra pillow. Additionally, the glass windows could be cleaner.

The service was pretty good and they were very helpful. The area has a Woolworth’s Metro so it was easier to buy food and snacks, really big with variety. The metro station wasn’t too far, maybe around 10 minutes walk. A lot of the attractions are within 10-15 minutes walk.

Location is good, walkable to chinatown. Train, tram and bus are all nearby, very convenient.
Room was spacious, able to open 2 big luggage. Its clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Not much amenities.
House keeping can be available everyday by hanging the clean room tag.
Receptionist was very nice and kind, we arrived early in the morning 8am but check in was only at 2pm. They helped to keep our baggage at the hotel and told us to go back at 12pm to check if room was available. Went back at 11plus and were told that we can check in already.
We had a few issues during the stay but the staff were very quick to response and solve the issue.

I chose The Grace Hotel because it was close to the Theatre Royal, we had booked to see ”Cats”.
I love th gothic style of the building and had always wanted to stay there. Very happy to see that the art deco fittings were still in place and the building model and historic articles were very interesting.
We had a comfortable room eventhough the bed mattress showed signs of wear and was a little lumpy and had body indent areas. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks, nice surprise. They seemed to only supply free to air television stations but with a bit of their guidence, we were able to chromecast our app. to the television - I say it this was because we are not the tech minded but we got there.
I'd booked to have breakfast at the hotel which was most enjoyable.

I travelled here for my work meeting and i was so pleasantly surprised. The staff were so friendly, anf helpful. I ate at the buffet for two mornings, and i love that you can leave your baggage there when you chrck out if you need to run errands. Would dwfinately book again. Everything was clean and immaculate.

Has stayed a few times here, always preferred to stay here because of the access to a kitchen and laundry. However, this experience is the worst I had.
Was sick during one of the days (had diahorrea and fever) and one of the days there, the water was out, couldn't flush the toilet. Called reception but couldn't get to them so waited from early to late morning to get the plumbing fixed.
Next, the light dropped and water started seeping out when I on the aircon. Had just walked passed the cooridor so fortunately missed it if not the light would have hitted my head.

If you use public transportation, Martin Place matro is just near the stree.For me it's a convenient transport.
Though Soditel Wentworth doesn't have it's own gym,but partnering with Vergin Active provides pretty solid equipped gym facility, just be aware this is not 24hrs.

HHaven.LThe room is very spacious and has a bathtub. The structure was a bit unique, so it was interesting and fun.
Because it is a city, there is often noise in the early morning. People who are sensitive to sleep should be careful because the warning sound keeps coming from outside for about 10 minutes in the early morning and then stops. I am satisfied with everything! :))

YYAThe lady at the front desk was very nice, ah, ah, awesome, and the plot staff was very cute when I stayed a few days later, and put the three dolls of our three girls on the bed. When I went back, it was super warm and tidy. , I just walked to the shopping place, and I was super close to darling harbour. GGuest UserIn short, Pullman Hyde Park Sydney is a great hotel with a gym and pool that offer good views. The rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for accessing all the famous tourist spots.
We stayed for 5 nights at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney in mid-May. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM, which was earlier than the scheduled check-in time. We requested an early check-in at the concierge; however, we were informed that no rooms were available until 1 PM. This was understandable, given our early arrival.
While waiting, we appreciated the water dispenser and snacks available for guests. One downside was that the hotel had only three lifts, which were insufficient for the number of guests. One lift even broke down, and the other two were quite slow.
We booked a Superior King Room with a Hyde Park view, which was lovely. The room was clean, with no odors or stains. However, our first room was missing disposable slippers and had a broken phone. The staff quickly sent a technician and arranged for us to move to a higher floor with a functioning phone. They were responsive, but we had to move our luggage ourselves, as they were unable to assist with that. (It was around 6pm so they may be short-staffed at that moment.)
We spent some time at the gym, but unfortunately, the drinking water ran out around 6 PM. We called the concierge to have it replenished, but no one arrived by the time we left. The pool was decent, and there was also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was located right next to the gym and in front of the glass entrance, so anyone coming out of the elevator could see you enjoying it, which may or may not be a concern for some guests. A highlight was running on the treadmill while enjoying the stunning sunset over the city skyline—it was spectacular.
The location was fantastic! The major bus stops were just a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi Beach, Central Station, and Darling Harbour .etc. It was also only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, which made exploring the area very convenient.
Overall, while I believe there are cheaper options with similar location advantages, the cleanliness at Pullman Hyde Park was notably better than those alternatives.

GGuest UserGreat location and good value. A little more attention to detail by the cleaning crew would make this a great place to stay while visiting Sydney. Close to the metro, trains and bus. Easy to get to from the airport and the staff was great. The hotel has a cafe/bar down in the lobby with a nice selection of food, coffee and cocktails. Over all I would recommend and stay again on our next visit.

CCupoftashThe location is excellent as its across the street from World Square. The rooms are small and compact. The doors are heavy and slam, very annoying at night as the walls are pretty thin. You can hear your guests in the room next door talking. The bathroom door couldn't be closed properly and the shower door, so water leaked onto the floor after showering. They also had some strange signage about leaving the doors open when you shower to avoid a $1600 fine for setting off the fire alarm- due to steam/heat from the shower. It was written in such a way that did not make sense at all. Aside from the great location, it was just far too noisy of a place to stay.

Even the iconic Sydney Opera House is within walking distance, and Chinatown is just around the corner. One thing to note is there's no air conditioning, which could be an issue if you're visiting during the summer months. Despite that, everything else was great. Plus, they offer free luggage storage.
