It rained when we climbed Songshan Mountain that day, and my clothes were soaked when we got back. The hotel has a drum washing machine and a garment steamer. It was really thoughtful. The staff at the front desk were very nice and made my stay very comfortable."

They also provided complimentary drinks, and I spent the evening studying the travel guide to Dengfeng and its surrounding area provided in the room – a truly delightful experience."

"Stayed here during the Chinese New Year. The lobby had Lullaby Lynn dolls, which really added to the festive atmosphere. The twin beds could be pushed together, which was great for families with kids. The room size was decent, and it even had a separate bathtub. What really made the experience special was the live Guzheng performance during breakfast. It was a wonderful touch!"

"The room was extremely dirty. The sheets were definitely not changed. When I first entered, I was still saying that the facilities were good. Later that night, there were traces of mucus on the table next to the bed. I didn't even wipe it off. After staying there for one night, my body was covered with red envelopes. It's a new store. Even basic hygiene is not cleaned properly. If I'm the only one with this, other reasons are more likely. My partner is a grown man with thick skin. His body is also itchy. The hygiene is worrying."

"The owner is really welcoming. Luckily, our room got upgraded! There's a tall, handsome guy who makes delicious breakfast. The rooftop is super cool in the evening, perfect for enjoying the view. It's just a 10-minute walk to Songyang Academy, and there are shared electric bikes right outside for an even quicker ride. You can do laundry after hiking and ordering takeout is convenient too. Highly recommend!"

"This place is amazing! I felt so cared for and looked after. They go above and beyond in so many ways to make it a wonderful stay. They really did SO much for me to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are beautiful and also cared for. It felt welcoming, clean, warm and wonderful. They have great attention to detail and are so incredibly considerate seeking to offer their visitors the best experience they can. The location is wonderful. A short walk to Songyang scenic area and some great local eateries. A short taxi (11yuan) to the Shaolin scenic area. I so highly recommend this place. I only write reviews when somewhere stands out and this place definitely does!!!!"

"Aside from taking too long to check in the foreigner ID's compared to other hotels, we had an enjoyable stay here. The hotel rooms are spacious and nice. Food in the restaurant was alright but the breakfast was a bit meh on the quality. Overall though worthy of staying in if you're going to Shaolin Temple, you can also hike up Luya waterfall close to here (if the weather isn't completely dry like when we went)"
