"We arrived at the hotel during Eid al-Adha.We had made our reservation through Trip.com, but when we arrived, it seemed that our reservation was not showing in the hotel’s system. I believe the intermediary agency may have forgotten to forward the reservation to the hotel. Despite this, the reception staff were extremely helpful and assisted us throughout the process. Thanks to their support, we were able to check in and settle into our room without any issues. First of all, the hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was served on the 5th floor in a bright and comfortable area, which made for a very pleasant dining experience. The fruit platter provided in the room was also a lovely touch. ☺️ The location is very central, with a Starbucks right downstairs as well as many markets and restaurants nearby. We would definitely choose this hotel again when we return."

Sunset Village ★★★

"This apartment complex is in need of some TLC. The apartments are VERY basic and if we paid a basic price i could understand, but we didnt. The kitchen was not "fully equipt" with no toaster or microwave. the kitchen drawers were broken and we were unable to use them. The kitchen tap had a constant leak on to the worktop. The shower head holder was broken so we had to hold the shower head whilst showering, the towel rail in the bathroom was also broken. The bsthroom sink taps leaked at the back on to the floor when used. The dining chairs inside the apartment, two of them were broken underneath the seat. There was only one airconditioning unit in one bedroom the other had a ceiling fan which did not really work, one side of the pull string was broken and we had to stand on the bed to turn off the light but leave the fan working on a night. The "private balcony" was far from private attached to to neighbouring apartment and overlooking/ opposite the rest in the hotel balconies, it was so small with only two chairs for our family of four. The "pool bar" we used once, waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive to order a coffee. There seemed to be no staff or staff spread too thinly to cover the jobs. The service wasnt great nor very professional and its only a snack menu. As someone who has food allergies my confidence to eat there without becoming ill was 0. The only market nearby was a beach market that was very expensive. The pool had broken ceramic all around it and was much smaller than pictured. The beautiful gardens that were also pictured on the booking were non existant. There were no trees, flowers, bushes and the flower bed left empty and broken. When we walked out of our apartment down the stairs there was a pipe from the roof dripping water constantly over entrance the stairs so you had no choice but to walk under it. The complex is generally run down and in need of repair and upgrade. We did raise our concerns with the managers son who said he would pass this on but nothing ever happened. We decided to leave and booked back in to a gorgeous hotel we had stayed at in kusadasi for half of the price and left after 4 days to continue our three week holiday. Do not book here unless you are looking for very basic. But the price definitely needs to be changed to reflect this."

"Checked in few hours back. We booked for 2 adults + 2 kids however given 1 king and 1 single bed. No towel, when we asked for bathroom towels, we were given small ones with an excuse that they could not find any other. Cleanliness is terrible. Room smells disgustingly smoking. Currently could not find any other alternative hence have to stay here. Paid 260 euro for 2 nights which is overpriced for the condition of the room. Photos are fully misleading."

"Our honeymoon at Akra Didim was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it instantly made our stay feel special. We arrived late at night and were transported to our villa by one of the buggies, which immediately made us feel like Bond villains arriving at a secret island hideaway. We had booked one of the single villas for our honeymoon, so you can imagine our shock when we opened the door and realised we’d been upgraded to a duplex villa. An unbelievable surprise and such a thoughtful touch from the hotel. To top it off, the TV welcomed my wife by name with a personalised “Good Evening” message. Small detail, massive impact. Having a 24-hour bar was also an absolute lifesaver. We’d never stayed at a hotel quite like this before, so being able to dump our bags, grab drinks and have a late-night snack after travelling felt elite-level hospitality. The villa itself was stunning, but what really stood out was the design of the entire resort. You could tell an incredible amount of thought had gone into the architecture and layout. Every restaurant and relaxation area had its own personality and atmosphere, yet everything flowed together perfectly. It managed to feel luxurious and stylish without trying too hard — modern without becoming cold or soulless. And the bed… honestly, I’m still thinking about it. Sleeping on that thing felt like being gently hugged by a cloud. The next morning we pressed the button to open the blinds and were met with one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever seen. It was one of those moments where you just sit there in silence for a second thinking, “Yep… this is the life.” The restaurants were phenomenal throughout our stay. Every meal felt like something you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant rather than an all-inclusive resort. The quality, presentation and flavours were consistently incredible. The only slight downside was that there wasn’t always availability to use the à la carte restaurants every night. However, as the hotel is still relatively new, we completely understood they were still fine-tuning things and training staff. And honestly, whenever anything did go slightly wrong — which was very rare — guest relations were fantastic. They genuinely cared about making sure guests had the best experience possible. We managed to try every à la carte restaurant apart from the seafood restaurant, and each one was excellent in its own way. The food, the atmosphere and especially the staff all made every meal memorable. Our personal favourite was Incir, the family restaurant near the family villas. The pasta there was dangerously good. We kept telling ourselves we’d try somewhere different for lunch and then somehow ended up back there again like it was calling us spiritually. Because we travelled in May, the hotel was fairly quiet, which for us actually felt like a bonus. It almost felt like we had our own private honeymoon "

"Great little hotel. Location is perfect. 2 mins from beach, shops, bars. Rooms are perfect, with kettle, fridge, flat screen tv aircon . Everything is included in the price with no hidden charges. Beds are very comfy. All staff are very friendly. Only suggestion I would make to owner is to provide a clothes rack on balcony to hang your wet clothes on and offer more of a choice for breakfast for your european guests. Apart from that I would recommend this hotel. I have stayed 4 times already and will be booking again."

"This is where we got to go in the day and enjoy the day while my wife and I traveled by the city, and we wanted to stay and rest a night more. The garden, which was interested in the property that welcomed us when we first entered the outside door, was the first sign of the same property in all other matters. Our room was clean and comfortable, our balcony was quite cold. The breakfast in the pool was like we were going to breakfast in private air for us. He met our expectations from a shop hotel in every matter. Because of his location, the peaceful streets were also caused to spend a comfortable night. We will surely advise anyone who seeks a place to stay in my seat to see it."

"There is so much I could write for this review and all very positive. However, I shall keep it short because there was simply nothing negative to say, just a very positive experience. It was short notice I booked in here, having friends already there. I had originally booked into another hotel for which I shall nothing, as there was nothing good to say about it. Arriving at Akesl Butik, the friendly staff, the welcome & how clean and comfortable the hotel was made up for everything. If anyone has any reservations of booking in here, in my own personal experience, cast aside doubts. One of the best hotels in the area & having lived in Didim/Altinkum for 3 years in the past, I do know many hotels in the area."
