Emails received are a little confusing as no deposit was needed other than that amazing place with good staff.

Really helpful and understandable staff. Gave me a hand with the heavy luggage upstairs. Though the Trip booking made a mistake, the staff gave me a well welcome, especially in the late night arriving. By the way, the shelf by the bunk do need to be cleaned since it was with lots of dust.

The shower was the worst. You had to press a button to get water. There was no elevator, and the layout of the room was so chaotic that you couldn't bring heavy luggage into the room.

This is the 62nd country I have arrived in. The bedding in the room is very comfortable. It is a rare high-end accommodation during the trip. There is a public kitchen. You can go to the Chinese supermarket Rongxingxing to buy seafood. The special seafood is very cheap. You can go to other Chinese supermarkets to buy steak. The price is also very cheap. It costs 280 yuan per kilogram in China and 120 yuan in Dublin. I didn’t know how to use a vacuum cooker at first. Microwave oven, because Chinese people are used to cooking. Later I found out that I soaked the spaghetti in boiling water, cooked it in the microwave for four minutes, and then put in the steak and cooked it for four minutes. Seafood does not take that long. It is 4 euros per meal and I am satisfied. It is a seafood feast. Make it yourself. Every meal I have plus fruit is very cheap, less than 5 euros. Young people eat noodles and bread, and traveling consumes a lot of energy, so they need to replenish energy appropriately.

The hygiene and service attitude are both good. There is a bus to Dublin Airport not far from the hotel. This is what the hotel attendant told me, so I arrived at the airport smoothly.

Checking in I was surprised that one receptionist talked about a 100€ cash deposit, while the next morning someone else said it was 50€. The fire alarm went off for 5 minutes without any statement or announcement from the receptionist personnel, although it clearly states that you shouldn't ignore the alarm. I extended my booking but through unforeseen circumstances, had to leave a week earlier, no partial refund, no customer service whatsoever. The hostel lacks the basics of good accommodation. There is one chair for each person to sit on in each room, besides the bunk bed. The showers have rust inside them, the kitchen supplies are beyond outdated. You need to bring your own salt, pepper, oil etc. I'm surprised they don't expect you to bring your own kettle. At below 10 degrees celcius during the night, there was no heating in the rooms or bathrooms. You wanna stay warm? Wear a sweater or take a shower, what's the issue? Having stayed in hostels and hotels around the globe, I can say that this by far one of most overpriced places for the "quality" it provides. During nighttime, people who drink and smoke sit outside of private houses until police tells them to move. There was one night, where a guy was screaming his lungs out and it didn't seem to bother anyone from the management team to take care of that issue. So, all in all, a thrilling experience.

I used to stay here when visiting Dublin, even before it was managed by Leevin Hostel, but I take my money elsewhere now. Complaints are seriously mismanaged with no sign of improvement. Video chatting in showers and toilets is common, personal belongings left on radiators are confiscated with no guarantee of return, and long-term residents drink in the backyard. This hostel is no longer safe, respectful, or reliable.

I booked a flight a short notice, less than 2 weeks, which was the same weekend as Ireland had a world cup qualifier. So hotel options were extremely limited. The location was ok, but the appearance was tired looking. Staff were excellent very friendly. The room, I usually take pictures, but the pictures on the booking web site were accurate. But the communal showers and toilets were something out of the 80s, very dated and in need of renovation. The rooms well noisy is so true, people coming and going at different times. I did have my belt go missing on the first day in the space of 3 hours. Certainly made me keep my passport & valuables on me at all times. Expensive for what it was, next time I'd rather stay at a hotel airport and pay to come in. I won't be staying in a hostel again. Outside of that Dublin is an amazing city. Coming back again in the spring.

Much cheaper than Dublin hotels. Basic bedroom and bathroom facilities (the electricity in my single room stopped working for a while). Biggest challenge was how noisy it was through the day and night. Pretty much no sound proofing, which means you can hear conversations in other rooms, doors slamming and hand driers in the bathrooms. Left feeling more tired than when I arrived in the city.

DO NOT STAY HERE. It took 1 hour to check in, our group booking was separated, my bunk bed curtain fell off the rail and the bunk above me was covered in human faeces, when I told the receptionist about this she didn’t even pretend to be surprised. After all of this I was not offered a refund, appalling.

Unfortunately, my experience with Leevin has been disappointing. Even after fulfilling all obligations, I am facing problems with the refund of the deposit and unfair accusations about damage that I did not cause. Transparency and professionalism should be a priority, but that's not what happened. Stay tuned before trusting this company!

The bed was double but it was so small that we literally have difficult do move. A little bit pricey for the room you get. The location was ok and since we had a car it was good to have spots around easily. Then they put us in the ladies floor and since I’m male there’s no toilets there for me

Yo, about the place – you've got city buses from the airport to the hostel and back to the city centre. The hostel vibes in a cool church building, and bonus, there's a café inside – major lifesaver! The 4-person room was decent, clean, and gave off private vibes. Loved that they split the ladies' and dudes' rooms – felt secure, you know? But let's talk about the showers – major letdown. Curtains and zero control over the temperature. Too hot and not cool. Bathrooms were alright, but morning cleanup? Seriously, that's when everyone needs it most! Despite the shower drama, everything else was solid. I'd say give it a shot! 🌟 On the flip side, those showers though – curtains, low water pressure, and zero temp control. Not a fan.

Upon arriving at the hostel, my initial optimism quickly turned to disappointment as I encountered a significant issue with the bathroom facilities. Despite the receptionist's assurance of functional bathrooms on our floor, all were closed upon reaching, and another guest complained about a persistent water shortage since the night before. Addressing the matter with the reception only led to redirection to an alternative bathroom, which, to my dismay, had water only in the sink. This left me without access to a clean toilet or a functioning shower, proving both inconvenient and incredibly frustrating, especially after a long journey. My overall experience at Leevin Hostel fell short of expectations, and I hope improvements are made to prevent similar inconveniences for future TripAdvisor travelers.
