"Excellent location minutes walk from the city centre and overlooking the marina. Room was fabulous - upgraded although we didn’t ask for an upgrade. Although the room wasn’t ready the receptionist said he would ring us when the room was ready and he did just that. Rooftop swimming pool and solarium is a real bonus and the gym is well equipped. Breakfast is buffet style and has an excellent choice. Dining room overlooks harbour and being serenaded by Andres piano playing at breakfast was the icing on the cake."

"Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay! Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked. Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches Faro has my ♡"
