"We had a wonderful stay at Mercedes Country House. We spent 7 nights here during our visit to Algarve and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. This place is tucked away in a town about 20 min north of Faro airport. The area is conveniently located to be able to access many interesting areas in Algarve within 1 hour. The staff are kind and attentive, the grounds are beautiful, and the Thai restaurant on site was top notch- we ate there every night that it was open. We also signed up for a Thai cooking class with the chef and learned to make some delicious dishes. Stay here if you’re looking for a peaceful oasis where you can get some restorative rest and eat delicious food, while still being located a short drive from the beaches and the region’s many cultural offerings."

Jean-Paul has been an excellent host - he helped us both before and during our stay far beyond what you can expect from a host. Casa Apollo is a pearl - even if it's situated in the centre of Faro it is a quiet gem only a few minutes walk from the main streets. It's a beautiful place with lovely and clean rooms. The breakfast is delicious with everything you can wish for; it's the perfect start to the day. We highly recommend Casa Apollo and will for sure book again whenever we come back to Faro :-)"
