Astra Hotel
"The hotel is 1 km away from the train station and close to the city center. You can walk to various attractions and visit the old town. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet, which of course is related to the size and population density of the city itself."
Casa d'Este - Hotel Ferrara
"next to Ferrara castle, unfortunately rooms are dated and required refurbishment, still I was located in quiet room which allowed me to have a good night sleep. For plus was breakfast included with very good service. I had visited Ferrara during Sep. one of the busiest week of the year (during Bologna ceramic show), but room prices were still reasonable. Unfortunately parking due to location is available on street only and sometimes takes some time to find free spot."
Hotel Touring
"The hotel is. very well located to reach the center and the castle by walk. Rooms are specious and the breakfast is good."
Last Minute Ferrara
"Self check in worked well. Room was large and no competition for the shared bathroom. Easy 20 minute walk to old town."
Hotel Annunziata
"Convenient to go out for a walk"
Radisson Hotel Ferrara
"good room. good stay. happy day!!"
Hotel Nazionale
"Right in front of Ferrara Castle with a spacious room and toilet big enough for couples and travellers with kids. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and all the tourists services the city can offer. Although the hotel is part of a traffic restricted area, the city allows travellers to unload and reload luggages on their car with an exemption as long as you fill the related form at the hotel."
B&B HOTEL Ferrara
"The best thing about the hotel is the staff, both in front office and breakfast, always extremely kind and available. The hotel was comfortable and clean, the position is strategic with a mall and easy access to means of transportation nearby. Breakfast was plenty and varied. Excellent cost-benefit experience."
Avanguardia Art Club
"Spotlessly clean hotel in a prime location. Wonderfully peaceful, yet only a two minute walk from some excellent bars and restaurants. Remote check in was easy. Double room was spacious and the bathroom was both large and with a fantastic shower. Bed was far and away the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Met the owner on the first day of my stay. She was wonderfully helpful and took time out to point me towards the best spots in Ferrara (in flawless English). Was impressed that whilst doing this she was also dealing with queries from other guests in both Italian and French. Will definitely stay here again."

Downtown - Camere in Centro
"Outstanding large clean rooms smack in the middle of ferrara, Terrific value for what you get. Spotless shared bathrooms. Reception is usually closed, so Ring ahead to get in. Ferrara is a marvellous place and this guesthouse makes a perfect base"
Locanda Borgonuovo
"A charming city centre B@B on a quiet street. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, furnished in a slightly old fashioned way but that is part of the charm. There is (chargeable) parking close by. "
Casaforte la Bastide
"Casaforte La Bastide is a beautifully restored medieval home set in the lovely countryside just outside Ferrara. It is an ideal place to stay while visiting Ferrara. What better way to discover the historical city than stay in a historical mansion? The mansion retains much of its original medieval structure while being tastefully decorated with antique furniture which enhance the ambiance all the while providing very modern comforts. We stayed in the Secret Suite which was large, warm and very characteristic. The bed, pillows and blankets were extremely comfortable, allowing for a good night's rest. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the dining hall. An abundant breakfast was prepared for us by Thomas which included eggs, fresh pastries, bread, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese and biscuits. There was a ample selection of tea, coffee and juice. As amazing as the location was, what made the stay even more incredible was the hospitality of the owners and of Thomas. They really made us feel at home!"
Hotel Europa
"The hotel was very convenient for our planned visit to Ferrara. The property is welcoming, clean, and functional. It's a bit dated in some respects. The staff was very courteous and helpful, especially regarding parking, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, a good rating, and I would return if necessary."
Alloggi Al Verdi
"I stayed in August 2024 with my family (2 adults + 1 boy of 13 years old). Central location a step from the historical center. Large parking nearby. Clean, spacious double room, comfortable bed sofa. Adapted to families. It's very advisable!"
Borgoleoni 18 - Room and Breakfast
"Exceptional B&B by location, style, furnishing, courtesy and breakfast: splendid!"
Hotel Lucrezia Borgia
"The hotel has 3 stars and a lot of effort has been put into surpassing its category. The location is excellent, 2 km from the center, in the immediate vicinity of a large shopping center. Parking is provided and included in the price, and in a short time you can reach a large public parking lot next to the historic city center. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioner works flawlessly. The breakfast is fine, with my comments about the Italian breakfast that the offer of sweet things prevails over the savoury. . We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant, both the food and the service were excellent. Complaints are that some workers at the reception barely understand and speak English, as well as that the breakfast is used up faster than it is replenished, so if you arrive late, half of the offer will no longer be available. The friendliness of the staff, family atmosphere and good location will make me recommend the hotel to other travelers."
Il Giardino di Rebecca
"Enchanting place, with attention to the smallest details, immersed in a beautiful garden. Very familiar environment, brand new and comfortable. I was alone, I was traveling for a beautiful event (among other things for one of the owners) and I felt very welcomed, I felt at home. I will definitely come back more calmly to enjoy it to the fullest. I recommend it very much."
Horti Della Fasanara
"We chose the hotel because we were going to a concert nearby. Unfortunately, we were misled by the pictures and the reviews. It's an old property with a large park. On closer inspection, everything is a bit unkempt. The reception was impersonal and ultimately just instructions about various keys. Parking is at the hotel and free of charge. The breakfast is so-so if you don't like cake. The lady from the service was not to be seen at first; she had to sweep up the rubbish from a child's birthday party in the park. The room was attractive, but I don't understand a minibar to be anything other than 2 Cokes and a water. Also, the fridge was next to the cupboard. The reality doesn't live up to the expectations there."
Residence Carlton
"Always a pleasant stay. Staff that go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as they can. Will stay again and again"
Le Stanze Del Savonarola
"A place so good it will make you want to stay in. The rooms are big, clean and cozy. The shower is a dream. The kitchen is great. The castle is basically just outside your door. A really amazing place, would definitely go back."
Ferrara Rooms
"Gentle staff. Large and light rooms. Comfortable stay."
Honey Rooms Ferrara
"We were really good, a clean, very clean and equipped place with every service, comfortable bed. Great location. Well organised welcome and very friendly and personal staff. I would advise. I would return."
Agriturismo Lama di Valle Rosa
"Speaking only of the day pool service with sun lounger, the quiet that was once a must-have is now a pleasant memory... now noise and shouting are tolerated both in the park's relaxation area and in the pools... a real shame considering the above-average cost!"
