"This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not. I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming. I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again."

"I've stayed at the Premier Inn Fleet several times because of work and the railway station. Unfortunately, the last time was not up to it's usual good standards. I was walking in the bathroom on the morning of checking out, and my socks were sticking to the floor. I wiped the floor with a damp cloth and it was filthy, dirty! I reported it to the receptionist, who offered use of a shower in another room, but by that time, I just wanted to leave. I did notice the carpet hadn't been hoovered properly in the room, and the bedsheets had old stains. The bed was comfortable though. Since staying there often in the last 5 years, it's starting to look shabby/old fashioned. There is now a stale smell in the corridors and when walking into the bedrooms. I was going to stay there in June and noticed at the time of booking, it was £180 a night, certainly not worth the money! I've stayed in the Holiday Inn this week and it is far, far better. The rooms are cleaner, modern and beds are more comfortable. The bathroom floor was also clean! The rooms were also cheaper."

"NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILIES Bold a family room with double bed and a double sofa bed for my teenager Apparently they don’t do sofa beds annd the website needs updating!!!! the children beds are small, basically on the floor with hardly a base and a  horrendous old uncomfortable mattress."

"We stopped at Premier Inn Fleet during a road trip from Germany, to get a good night's rest, before continuing to Devon. Upon check-in we were informed the road outside the hotel was closing at 9:00 the following morning for a half-marathon. Having worked all week, got up early on the Saturday to drive 10 hrs to get to Fleet the plan had been to get up later to be rested for the remainder of our drive. Instead we got up early again to drive onwards still tired. It is not within Premier Inn's control to avoid the road closure it is entirely within their control to inform me before check-in and allow me to move to another Premier Inn in the area. Poor communication Premier Inn."
