"Nice location. Very beautiful surroundings. My room was kinda small, but well equipped. Just be aware that the wooden structure inevitably introduces some noise. The breakfast was ok, but the view was definitely a bonus point!"

"This lil accommodation is such a gems. The location is quite and peacefully. Basic amenities but we don’t have problem at all. Spacious and lovely room. The bonus is free breakfast. We would love to come back again next time!"

Treetops B&B

"What a place. We stayed in the Great Glen review which had the most amazing, massive, comfortable bed with sheets that smelled divine and allowed us to have an incredible 9 hour sleep which was needed before climbing Ben Nevis. JJ gave us some great tips for the rest of our trip and Jo was fab at making sure we had everything we needed at breakfast. The views are amazing and the whole house was modern enough to have everything you needed but cosy enough to properly relax. Thank you for having us! (special shout out to Tigger the gorgeous ginger cat who gave me some lovely fusses after a long day hiking! And Taz the Terrier of course!)"

"This was certainly the highlight of our trip. From the very warm reception to the highly equipped and functional kitchen, it was a dream. They explain everything during welcome and all through the stay. I can't recommend this enough."

"Very clean, quiet, the bed was very big and comfortable. Personally think the price is a bit too high for what it is. The cottage is a bit far off from the main building , so if you need anything it. You will have to drive up to get it."

Lime Tree Hotel

"We had reason to go onto this hotel to complain about the restaurant, we didn't stay here so only have experience of the staff. The reception wasn't manned, the person who came when we rang the bell seemed nonplussed. We asked to speak to the manager who.....surprise, surprise was the chef from our bad experience the night before. The hotel and restaurant are trying so hard to be high end but the only thing high end is the price (certainly in the restaurant but judging by the grubby reception, the hotel is no better). The chef in the restaurant acting as the manager of the hotel is just weird and he doesn't seem to excel at either. Save your money!"

"Wonderful, well equipped apartment in the beautiful, sunny town of Fort William. Short walk from town centre and public transport, walking distance to Ben Nevis Visitor Centre too. Special treat to have two bathrooms in a two bed apartment. Neil and Tracy were very helpful in advising luggage storage options. Would love to stay again!"
