Hotels in Tenjin, Fukuoka

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station. The facilities are also very new and modern, and there's a dedicated lounge perfect for dining or catching up on work, with complimentary coffee available. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fukuoka.

This is a brand new hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with everything. I wanted to clear up a couple of points raised in other reviews: 1. First, regarding the complaints about having to pay an extra few hundred JPY at the front desk without prior notification: this is a truly irresponsible and misleading comment. All cities in Japan levy an accommodation tax, and this charge is always clearly detailed on your booking confirmation as an amount payable upon arrival at the hotel. There is absolutely no issue of the hotel overcharging. 2. Secondly, some reviewers found it inconvenient that the lobby is on the 19th floor while rooms are on the 18th floor and below, requiring an elevator transfer. In my experience, this setup is quite common in Japan. While it's typical for lobbies to be on lower floors and rooms on higher ones, it's also true that direct ground access from rooms without an elevator switch is rare in Japan; you almost always need to transfer. This hotel's decision to place the lobby on the top floor is clearly designed to offer guests a stunning shared space with panoramic views of Fukuoka Port, Fukuoka Tower, and the ocean. With high-speed elevators whisking you to the lobby in mere seconds, I honestly don't see this as an inconvenience at all.

We stayed the hotel for 3 nights. We caught the subway train  from Fukuoka airport to station Tenjin, West 1 exit is closest to the hotel, only few minutiae walk.  A lot of restaurants and convenient shops around. We stayed in double room and super small, recommended to stay in twin room, the size is much bigger. The staffs are friendly. It has coffee machine in lobby provided to guests for free which is bonus. Overall experience is great.

I booked this hotel for the first 2 nights and last night of the trip. The room for first 2 nights was fine, hygiene is ok. But then for the last night, the room was full of the smell of cigarettes, but it is a non-smoking room. I did not report the situation to front desk as I was just staying for 1 last night of the trip, so don’t wanna bother to change room. Except the above, everything was great, the staffs were very friendly and responsive, also able to communicate in English. Location is amazing, no matter food or shopping, everything is just downstairs.

Location is the absolute best! 4 minutes walk to Mina and 6 mins to Parco. 4 mins walk to train station. The popular ramen shop Shin Shin just around the corner. Must try! Hotel is quite new and room is very clean. Service is sadly missing, no greeting at checkin and the staff was looking at own computer screen for over 3 mins while we stood at counter, no greeting at all and we didn't feel welcome at the hotel. Very poor first impression. Breakfast is average. Overall recommend this hotel for the truly great location.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Station. This time it was sunny so it wasn't a problem, but I wonder how it would be on a rainy day. The room was spacious enough to spread out my suitcase on the floor. I was able to put my laptop and documents on the table provided and work without any problems. Some amenities are located next to the reception on the first floor. The amenities were quite plentiful. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy. There is a wide variety of buffets including local dishes, and above all, the view was amazing.

“Convenient and new, breakfast was bad” 5-8 minutes walk to Tenjin station , quite convenient, it’s just behind 岩田屋 . Breakfast was bad, lacking of choices, costed 13-15USD. breakfast time ended at 10:30, they stopped re-filling food at 9:30 already.

Was taken care of by the hotel at early Nov 2024 for a night before flying back home. The hotel was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bus stop was about 5 mins walk away and from there I was able to easily access in local attractions such as the yattai. The staff was very professional and can speak good English too. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Fukuoka.

This is a very new hotel. The rooms are nice, with a minibar included in the room rate. There's also a guest lounge with a good selection of snacks, coffee, drinks, and ice cream. The problem is that the front desk serves both hotel guests and restaurant guests, making the area cluttered and confusing. You have to squeeze in with a lot of people waiting, especially on weekends. Generally, hotels will allow late check-out if possible, but I requested it until 1:00 PM, and they said there was a fee. It's a typical Japanese hotel experience: no sense of service, just a matter of following procedures.

I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days in Fukuoka. It's not too far from Tenjin Station, and there are quite a few restaurants and bars near the accommodation, so I was able to enjoy the local atmosphere. The best part was that the 16 square meter room had a queen size bed, so I was able to sleep very comfortably. I think I'll book here again next time I come.
