Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino ★★★★
"It was an absolute delight staying at the hotel. The breakfast was rich, fresh, and had variety for people who shouldn't consume dairy (me). The staff was kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean, especially the bedding. The gym was convenient and efficient."
Gaborone Hotel ★★
"I don't stay here for the first time. Very quiet, comfortable and safe place. Of course it is quite modest here, but there is everything necessary. And prices are very affordable. I recommend!"
Hilton Garden Inn Gaborone ★★★★
"Everything is perfect in the hotel, there was even a self-service laundry. The chef in the restaurant cooked very tasty. I would stay here again"
Cresta President Hotel ★★★
"Nice hotel rooms but the service was terrible. We ordered food and it took over an hour to come out. They didn’t have half the menu available and the waitress said she’d bring menus over and never did, we went and got them ourselves. We finished our drinks and no one came out to take orders again so we decided not to drink anymore . Note, no other guests were here so I don’t understand how the service wasn’t available."
Travelodge ★★★
"Clean hotel, engaged and friendly staff, convenient location not so far from the airport. Maximum 15 min. by walk to the nearest mall. Slow wi-fi."
Stay Well Hotels ★★★

Cresta Lodge Gaborone ★★★
"Excellent service with good customer service Staff understand the customer Well provided internet and wifi for good communication Well kept rooms "
The Oak Tree House ★★★
Peermont Mondior Hotel ★★★
"Excellent spacious room friendly staff and service. Definitely a home away from home 👌"

Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm, Gaborone
"We went there on 30 December 2023 after 19 years I expected to find what’s was then, but sadly this beautiful property is so mismanaged now and ruined ………………, there were no people like guest and the pool side bar/ restaurant waiters were placing for 1 hour garden furniture pillows only and shouting and laughing like they are at their own house, after placing the pillows on the chairs and sofas at 12h they just seated on the one of the sofa ( where guest are supposed to seat ) and started to chat and laughed so loud, it was unbearable! You feel uncontrollable to go and seat in the garden! I had to chaise a waitress as she was holding her glass and drinking and walking around the bar and trying to run away from me ( probably I had disturb her …) so finally I got to talk to her and ask if I could order pizza - her answer was that the chef will clean the the pizza oven and I can only order pizza at 6pm ………………… I have no words how happy these all employees are to work the way they work! 🤣 With no one supervising them and just gossiping, laughing and get salaries without actually doing any work they are hired for ……… Waw ………. whoever is managing this hotel now should be let go if the stakeholders wants to have any profit and any guests at all………… Feeling so sad for this beautiful property to be run down like it is now!! The gardens are closed from the back, you can’t go around like we used to, there are lot rubbish plastic bags and bottles in hotel garden - never ever seen something like that anywhere in hotel !! I wouldn’t come back again here for sure! Gaborone it’s also going down …… very sad! Nothing is like used to be 19 years ago……… and no New Year’s party was organized at the hotel like 19 years ago……… waw …… nothing! Sad vey sad……"
African Home Hotel
"The hotel is perfectly located in Gaborone, close to all the major places and sites worth seeing in the Capital. A walking distance to the Three Dikgosi Monument and Fields Mall. I liked this convenience that the hotel offered. The hotel also has plenty of rooms, over 14 and has a Spa, conference venues and a restaurant. There is also a pool inside and the main entrance is guarded with security personnel. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman named Sebalo, who also adjusted my booking to a room that he recommended, has better Wifi connectivity, to which I agreed. I appreciated this as the Wifi in the Kgosi room was good during my stay. I also liked that I had covered parking, which I didn't need to pre-book, located close to the room. I also had a decent breakfast for all the days here, prepared promptly and with care by a lady called Violet. I welcomed this value for money aspect to my stay. She was very friendly, warm and tried by all means to vary the breakfast options and presentation on all three days which I appreciated. The room was spacious, had adequate lighting, Aircon, LCD tv, coffee station and kettle and enough mirrors all round. There were also enough bins in the room, an extra blanket and the bedding was clean. There was a desk and chair, which ensured that I could spend some time catching up on my reading in the room. There was no safe and I had to arrange my own twin plug, which was not an issue. The toilet was separate from the shower which I liked and there was shampoo available. Clean towels were on offer, regularly.replaced and room service was offered. The hotel was peaceful and I did not experience any major distractions. I also liked that I paid once I got to the hotel and that no deposit was withheld. Where I think the hotel could have scored more for me was in the following - there was no info-welcome sheet in the room that orientated me to the rules of the hotel, wifi password, breakfast times, lunch or dinner, important emergency numbers and nearby sites worth seeing for instance which is common in most hotels. I had to ask many of these and Sebalo was of assistance. I feel that the hymn sheet would have made it much easier. I found a booklet about sites to see in Gaborone close to the reception area, which I only saw and made use of during breakfast. Those booklets can be placed in the rooms as a suggestion. The bed was not comfortable at all for me and there were some small insects here and there in the room which was not pleasant to see. This is where the hotel dropped points from me. I believe that if the hotel works on these few items, it could do better. However, the service I received from Sebalo and Violet, together with the convenience of the location, shaded parking, breakfast and good wifi in the room, made the stay decent overall. "
Protea Hotel Gaborone Masa Square
"I recently stayed at Protea Hotel by Marriott Gaborone Masa Square in Suite 288 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The level of noise during the night was unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this standard. Loud music from Soya continued late into the evening, and this was followed by extremely loud talking and shouting from patrons at World of Wine, which went on until around 3:00am. As a business traveler, a good night’s rest is essential, and this was simply not possible due to the disturbance. The expectation when booking a suite is a quieter, more comfortable environment, which was not the case. While the location is convenient, the noise levels significantly impacted my stay. I would strongly recommend the hotel address sound management between nearby venues and guest rooms to ensure a better experience for future guests."
Regent Select Hotel
"Arrived on a Thursday & the most annoying thing was how my surname was spelled incorrectly! Even after trying to correct them, they kept on calling me with a wrong name. Secondly, they gave me a room which door couldn't open unless a special key is used, why was it not checked 1st? As if that's not enough while out, i was moved to a different room with a smelly bathroom!"
Indaba Lodge Gaborone
"Terrible service especially at the restaurant, waiters don't even greet. They just shove cutlery at you and walk away. There are no clean plates for breakfast & little food left, chef doesn't seem to care!"
Tlokweng Rose Garden Guesthouse
Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel & Convention Centre
"Stayed for a business trip and while the greeting at the front desk was cordial and polite the true state became apparent when experiencing the hotel and services. On arrival the shower didn’t work, then, once fixed, scalded the user (others complained of this as well) room make-up was missed, access card kept failing - even when kept far from the phone, meals and drinks are expensive and plain. Some small animals to view on the course but they are damaging it - nature at work."
