"Fantastic hotel right on Ocean Village and close to all bars and restaurants"

Rock Hotel

"A classic hotel in a great location with views over the port and Mediterranean to Spain and Morocco from our balcony and “the Rock” just behind. Comfortable room but starting to show its age a little and repeated complaints to reception never managed to get our dusty floor and bathroom door cleaned. Airport taxi booked through the hotel did not arrive and had to be rebooked. Standards slipping since its heyday."

"The configuration is similar to that of the UK, and the price is also similar to that of the UK (tears). The hotel is very close to the airport and border control, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk across the runway. The staff is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to introduce the surrounding transportation and tourist attractions. The room is clean and tidy, and the lighting is good. The breakfast is also acceptable. In short, I am very satisfied."

"I booked an Apartment for 1 night (I wish it was longer) and was very impressed. My Apartment was on the 14th floor and had a nice view of the sea. The apartment was spacious and had a all the things I needed (coffee machine, smart tv, plenty of sockets for charging devices, microwave and many other things, including a washing machine. There was a nice touch in that there were a couple of complimentary bottles of beer and a bottle of water in the fridge The bathroom was ample size and had a nice walk in shower. There is a small balcony, which was nice to sit on and admire the view with a beer. I did not use the Spa/ Health club, as we did not have time. I did have a few beers, a cocktail and a meal in the bar. All of which were nice and not to expensive. The apartments are a little way out of the main town, but there are bus stops just outside the apartments with a regular bus service to town and the frontier (Bus 5/10). Check in was easy and we were able to leave our bags, before we checked in. I would stay here again."

"It was advertised a king size bed, but it was a queen bed only. Washing machine didn’t work. Both were our reason to book this property. This property isn’t registered with the spa, so we didn’t get any discount. The spa itself was good."
